  1. Well i'm sure Jagmeet's sphincter just went into lock-down But unfortunately Justin will likely prorogue parliament and it won't be going back in January. I'm afraid it's a great idea but it's unlikely to be given a chance to work.
  2. Right, that's why the democrat supporters were the one who started this thread and do most of the posting on it I'm sure they'll find it entertaining, but no... nobody cares.
  3. Nobody's going to care. At the end of the day trump will make a decision and life will move on and honestly nobody cares I know that you desperately want this to be some sort of collapse of the republican party but it's not going to be and honestly that's just silly God knows we've had our problems with the same sort of program in Canada. Sounds like it needs a little rejiggering. The drama is always entertaining but it's really not that big a deal. Sorry for your luck
  4. So we will put you down for a "Please don't hurt my friends "?
  5. you mean wants a DOJ that acts on ANOTHER President's command? Too bad you didn't think that was a bad thing when biden was doing it. Little late now to complain
  6. Looks like he's right you're wrong. When you find yourself having to go back and reword and explain what you said as often as you do then you have a communication issue or you're not being honest
  7. Absolutely. If Trudeau had even a shred of integrity it would never have gotten to this stage, but here we are and a country cannot function with a government that it has no faith in. Nope. Not until he's won the election. But the liberals have absolutely no mandated at this point to represent Canada
  8. That's not what the op said. And the reason they pay lower wages to those people is because the generally there is lower productivity. Not because of a bad work ethic but they just simply aren't as up to speed as canadian-born people on how things work in the country. So it generally doesn't translate into the higher profits that everyone thinks it does in many cases. McDonald's maybe but that's about it The damage they do is actually quite different. A lower average wage means less tax revenue per person for the government and yet the same number of services must be provided. Basically that means it becomes impossible to deliver the same level of health care, education and other services for the population. They also put tremendous inflationary pressures on the country. When you add a million new mouths to feed every year you put a lot of strain on food prices. And that many people all needing a home puts a strain on the housing market which is reflected in prices. And so on. In the end nobody benefits. Excessive immigration is a net loss for everybody including the immigrants.
  9. The liberal government didn't feel that way I think he's mostly concerned that some universities have been allowing and even promoting hate speech towards jews. Well they do provide some: In 2021/2022, Canadian universities received $4.6 billion from the federal government, which was an 18.8% decrease from the previous year. But they can also hold back provincial funding of an amount equal to what the universities are getting from the provinces. So not nothing.
  10. No, even if it were true which is not the case that wouldn't be treason. Treason is when you give Aiden assistance to a enemy combatant of your country. So he woudlnt' be a traitor he would be a usurper. Giving china advance warning of an attack however would be treason. SIgh. Is there ANY chance of you ever showing up and NOT proving what a ditz you are?
  11. So you're saying you've known he was a traitor for a while now?
  12. I suspect a number of them will come under the crosshairs of the republicans and their friends over the next 4 years weather for this or something else. Once the door to lawfare was opened shutting it would prove hard. They were warned about this repetitively
  13. But there's nothing respectful about your debate. You walk into the debate and being insulting and arrogant and refusing to address any of the points that are made to you. And Michael is even worse. I pointed out something that is not only true but is easily verified and in fact was verified by another poster here as soon as I said it and he throws nothing but insults and then runs away to complain about how we can't have an honest discourse. It is 100% obvious that you have no interest in this honest discourse. How does that make your cause look do you think. Do you think people are reading this and thinking better of trans people and their advocates? Do you think this is advancing your cause? Sigh. It's like trying to explain to archie bunker why he's racist
  14. It must, but it seems like it must be a little tough considering they've been chewing it non-Stop for 20 years now. This was literally the very first campaign attack on harper and they've never stopped since.
  15. The result is the same regardless of how it's processed. The numbers are accurate no matter what you say about the methods. Basically @I am Groot Just demonstrated that you were wrong and that he was correct and your response isn't to address the issue but is to try and find a way to rework the math so that somehow you look less wrong. However they get here, the number of people don't change and their level of education and suitability for our population doesn't change
  16. Response written like a true toddler just entering grade 1 with only a vague idea of how English works. Shall our education system be our next conversation topic? LOL! sadly there is so much truth to this that it hurts.
  17. Hey care as long as these people do what they're told. They're happy to care about the peons as long as they stay in line and obey their masters. Conservatives recognize that these are people. And that you are not superior to them in any way shape or form. And that their thoughts and opinions are valid. These are things that liberals simply refuse to accept Nope. Conservatives say the opposite. They think that the solutions to our problems are letting people and the markets figure it out for themselves, and that doing so will in the end produce the best results. It's the left who believes that people must be told what to do, what to think, how to behave etc. We think the left frequently LIES to people and those who don't know better might trust the left and get taken in for a little while. But as the last election in the states shows and the next election in canada will likely show people figure it out in the end. Being lied to has nothing to do with intelligence. Staying lied to does. Which is proof in and of itself that conservatives are smarter LOL
  18. adjective 1. conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected. "it's quite normal for puppies to bolt their food" How is it you still don't have a dictionary at your age? The vast majority of males and females fall within a standard or expected or typical range of sex and gender. A handful don't and that's fine, but that doesn't mean there's not a normal I only disagree with the woke ones 😁 And lets be fair, i call you a lot more than that. I'm quite diverse in my criticisms Awwww.......... was that you as a child? Is that why you grew up this way? Was the nasty trainer being a Chud?!? LOLOL
  19. Well done, you're now as intelligent as my parrot Yes, we're well aware that your type thinks of anyone that doesn't agree with them or tow their line as being somehow stupid or subhuman. However he was speaking to virtually everybody and frankly his point was entirely valid You really didn't. But that's really no surprise Very clearly you. I'm not the one foaming at the mouth trying to pick apart somebody else's comment from god knows how many years ago which is substantially accurate as far as it relates to his point because I'm slightly buthurt that someone told me to clean up my room
  20. Charlie has gone a little off the rails in the last 4 or 5 years on occasion, but historically he's actually been well respected on both sides of the political aisle. And he certainly not afraid to stand up to the party when he thinks they're wrong, as he did famously over the gun registry debate where the NDP party leader at the time Gave him hell for voting against the gun registry and claimed that "if the conservatives are for something we are naturally against it automatically" turned around and said something to the effect of his job is to vote the way his constituents want and for what's best for Canada and not to be some rubber stamp for the party just because they want to say no everytime a conservative says yes. (or words to that effect). I mean you have to respect that, even if you disagree with his politics. At the end of the day if he says something it's not because he's doing it for show or points, he probably generally means it
  21. Lies are what the left use to describe any word they don't like You realize that's what Christina Freeland said about Justin and the liberals right now. The hypocrisy is insane.
  22. She's wrong. Of course they can quit. Feel free to do so and leave at any time if that's what you want. But you seem to be presenting this as some sort of proof that there's a giant rift in the Republican party. This may come as a bit of a shock to those on the left, but on the right you're allowed to have different opinions on things. On this very board we've seen members who are considered right wing argue passionately with others who are considered right wing about different ideas and different points of view. That's not a rift, that's open and healthy debate and discussion which challenges ideas and forces people to examine both their own concepts but also other people's. For conservatives that's just normal behavior. All ideas are tested by acid until only gold remains. I'm old enough to remember a time when that was how the left wing thought as well. It's all about towing the party line and talking points and I honestly don't believe that's healthy. The fact that it's gotten to the point where any evidence of diverse ideology or thought is considered a rift by the left is Extremely telling
  23. Well exactly. Generally speaking people don't riot when the connects don't win the Stanley Cup every year I think they accept that Kamala was a long shot that didn't pay off
  24. WHoops, meant to comment on this as well You're absolutely right. Again as we so often find ourselves saying the hypocrisy is unbelievable. The left claims to be all about working for the common man, making sure they get a fair shake and deeply caring about what happens to them, only to call them uneducated slobs with no intellect the moment they vote for someone else A black person who decides to vote for republicans is an uncle tom. A woman who believes in conservative principles is a handmaden. It's like they don't even see their own hypocrisy
