  1. It's obviously a scam - an easy way to avoid that pesky application and waiting process. You know, because that child is Canadian, a relative (even if from another country) can purchase Vancouver real estate in that child's name.
  2. You've seen Vancouver lately...right?
  3. Your belief system has changed somewhat since the Jian Ghomeshi case.
  4. Don't bother, she knows what you're talking about.
  5. Why don't you ask the people of Haiti just what they think of Hillary and her "philanthropy"?
  6. We obviously don't have enough information to be sure of anything in this case, I think that the "concerning" part is just that, that a person was found guilty without any sort of proof or even evidence. All we know is that she asked for sex, they had sex and later she claimed rape - that's all we know. It also seems plausible that the judge had him guilty before even hearing a single word of testimony - this would also be concerning.
  7. $400 Mil. cash to Iran on the day Iran releases 4 hostages and the news still just talks about the Trump/Khan spat? Really?

There is yet another $1.2 billion that the USA has of seized Iranian funds. BTW what other method, except for cash, could the USA use to give the Iranians their money back.

I don't see a problem with ensuring hostages get released as part of this deal. If the hostages weren't part of this deal there would have been a greater outcry than there is now.

Very true, Hal. The Obama groupies in the media do his bidding much like they're in a cult.

  8. The media tells us that Trumps taxes are important, but no pressure on Hillary to release transcripts of speeches to Wall street. Arn't Hillary's speeches to Wall street of any interest? Really, no one is even the slightest bit curious as to what she told them and no one is curious as to why she is hiding them? Really?
  9. I know you don't care, the media doesn't care either. Hillary is a democrat and Patricia Smith is white - nobody will care.
  10. I understand the whole idea of not beating up on a "gold star" mother, but didn't Hillary just call Patricia Smith a liar in her interview last night?
  11. Anyone who still asks for proof or evidence of the Clinton's corruption is too far gone to acknowledge the reality of it anyway.
  12. Hillary stayed will Bill for one reason; to benefit her career. If she divorced Bill, her career would have been over, instead she gets to play the long suffering wife role, the supportive spouse. In reality, she always knew what was happening and considering her attitude towards these women, was more angry with them for spilling the beans than she was at him for for tickling their beans. The Clintons have a solid business arrangement - and that seems to work for them.
  13. I think you're assessment is false. If any male candidate had the baggage she has, there would be no chance of being considered to run let alone winning the presidency. The gender gap is the greatest it's ever been in any presidential election. Woman by the millions as well as progressives will vote based on one thing only - a woman making history. Just like Obama, people want to see history being made. It's not harder for Hillary, she has a built-in demographic that is hers for the taking. Her problem is not gaining votes, it's whether she screws up bad enough to lose them.
  14. There is not a male politician alive who would still be standing given the same baggage as Hillary comes with. No chance! This is completely about electing the first woman president and many people in the DNC and press/media will do whatever it takes to get that and many voters will overlook everything in order to ensure it happens too.
  15. Ifeel like watching MSNBC or CNN and counting the number of times we hear the words "racist", "bigot", "misogynist", and "danger". There has to be a drinking game in there somewhere.

How many useless words can you count in a Trump speech?

Who do you think did it?

  17. Yeah, that was said on the TV last night, i'm not surprised to hear in now.
  18. If Cruz has different priorities - good on him. He did right by his family if that's what we want to believe, if his priority is the next election, the so be it. The fact is; he did kill and chance of political advancement with that speech. Trump is a master of caudal luring - and as far as i'm concerned, Cruz took the bait.
  19. So, the issue is not really about Cruz's integrity, it's more about cheering on somebody to slag Trump. Fair enough, Trump seems to thrive on people attacking him only to see them die on their sword.
  20. The difference is, Reagan told the party that they should unite, Cruz told them to vote their conscience. The new buzz word these days is "dog while" politics - and Cruz played it. BTW - Cruz is no Ronald Reagan. I can't wait until people who applaud Cruz's integrity try to make it OK when Sanders (who has been openly shafted by the media and DNC) stumps for Hillary.
  21. What are you people talking about? "Well Played"...really? Good grief, by the end of it, he looked like he was about to actually cry. He stepped in it big time. This was political suicide - and before the end of the speech, he knew it.
  22. They wouldn't pay for your property, no one is asking that. They would be paying their portion of municipal taxes - taxes to cover the garbage they have taken away, the sidewalk built in front of where they live, the fire dept., busses, the school systems, snow removal, water, infrastructure, street lights, nature trails, skating rink, park maintenance etc etc. You know, municipal fees. This idea you have that paying property taxes is paying for your property is so wrong, it's stunning. And, by saying "Why I would own property and then expect someone else to pay", you're saying that you don't expect renters to pay property tax. Speaking of convoluted, what is it you're saying? Renters do pay property tax or renters shouldn't pay property tax? Because, you've actually argued both sides now.
  23. Good, you agree that a renter is not responsible for property taxes on a property that you own - IOW, they don't pay property tax - you do! And, property tax has nothing to do with equity or mortgage. Quite often property tax is based on assessed value, but that is only a partial means to assess what the owner is able to pay. You're also saying that if your property tax jumps say 10%, you'd be unable to go to your renter and ask for 10% higher rent - why not? You should be able to if they are paying the taxes - right?. What do you think the municipality would say if told them you'd pay half the taxes because your rental was empty half the year and therefore no renter to pay said taxes?
  24. Does rent increase every year based on tax increases, can I change my lease agreement every spring to reflect the increase? Does the municipality bill the rentor if they skip on rent? Does a homeowner still pay the taxes if the dwelling is empty? Sorry, you can pretend that renters pay property tax, but they really don't. The owner is solely responsible for all taxes.
