  1. Welcome to the new totalitarianism- even your shoes are a political statement!

  2. Not surprise that some people still foolishly believe, something is going to happen. Get ready, cause here it comes!!! Really soon!! Any day now!
  3. Not much today it seems, but this was the criticism levelled against them when the party first formed.
  4. Do you mean any and all Saudi's, because they are Saudi's?
  5. When it was formed, the CPC was initially criticized as being too socially conservative. Now it seems, they are... too liberal.
  6. Remember when we were told that "Canada will not enter into bi-lateral negotiations", and that Mexico had promised Canada to do likewise? This government believed that bullshit. Of course, Mexico has forged ahead. They were looking for the best deal they could get, for their own interests. The concessions that Mexicans made now impact directly on Canada's trade negotiations. Freeland in 'extremely intense' NAFTA negotiations as Trump officials issue threats Canada is particularly concerned with how Chapter 19 of the original NAFTA — the dispute settlement mechanism that can be used to challenge anti-dumping and countervailing duty cases, like what has been used by Canada in past on the softwood lumber file — has been renegotiated by the U.S. and Mexico. Chapter 19 has been a do-or-die issue for Canada as it is often relied on to fight punitive duties. Lighthizer, who is leading the U.S. negotiations, has long opposed this chapter as he believes it's in violation of U.S. sovereignty. Go Freeland Go! Go Freeland... Sorry, but I can't say I have loads of confidence...
  7. Most maggots, er, voters finally decide based on the alternatives, and those options are looking kinda bad right now.
  8. Plus, he has no idea how to spell "just desserts". But hey
  9. Fascinating. I keep waiting for something important to go wrong, but I don't think I've seen much of that yet, despite claims of how low America under president Trump is getting.
  10. At first I thought you meant Trudeau is a pot-head. That would explain so many things!
  11. She was branded a racist by the PM of Canada? Poor lady. My guess is it's going to be awful hard for her to find a job now.
  12. Justin Trudeau is just another cult of personality, "strong-man" type figure. Oh sorry I meant to say strong-person. Hmm, that doesn't work, does it
  13. How about this one then:

"Where have all the normal people gone...",

    "Long time passin..."

    Sing it!

  14. Maybe, but there are all sorts of different ways to interpret those symbols, not just the ones you have provided. To me they are all quite similar in terms of their religious symbols, but they are infused with different cultures. I'm no professor but the cultural influences are Greek, Hebrew or Judaic, and Arabic. So go pick your poison. Why shouldn't that list include Abraham as well, and perhaps Moses, and Solomon?
  15. I objected to the claim that Churchill refused to adopt a totalitarian state, when in fact he had to choose from one of two totalitarian states, based on which one would be easier for the British to deal with afterwards. Yes it did work. Russia was contained, but maybe only by some good luck and post-war circumstances. But a reminder to our friends on the left that Russia was then, and still is now, a totalitarian state.
  16. Did you complain to management?
  17. Churchill had no qualms about making a deal with that devil Stalin. Communism was the totalitarian system of the Bolsheviks. It is said that under Stalin they killed even more people than the Nazis. No need to quibble over a few million though... but hey!
  18. I agree with the question in principle: Why must things change?
  19. Ode to the liberals:

Where have all the liberals gone, long time passing?
Where have all the liberals gone, long time ago?
Where have all the liberals gone?
    Post-national feminists have them, everyone!
Oh, when will they ever learn?
    When will they ever learn?

    1. Argus

      Argus

And where have all the conservatives gone? I'd kind of like to know that too.

They are replaced by the dark haired ones, the masculine, romanticised Omar Sharifs

Maybe the missing liberals are doing all the spamming...   every day now

  20. Trudeau does not want to expel any Saudis. You people act like this was a planned thing, but it wasn't. This was a complete gaffe, no one in the Trudeau government expected Saudi Arabia to slap them in the face, and slap them hard they did. That is the issue being raised here- political incompetence that leads to a problem that was not anticipated. The Saudi reaction is proof of what they are all about as a culture, arrogant and spiteful, hyper-aggressive without remorse. Stupid, even. But as stupid as they are, this government is on equal footing. And now some of you people say that we should be "happy" that they are leaving? You simply do not get it.
  21. Western feminist liberals cooing... "Oh Ahmmad, you are a real man after all!"
  22. This is the part the liberals seek to ignore- these people have already declared war on us. Certainly the Wahhabists have. Look at the mocking cartoon they published in their hyper-aggressive response to Canada's pathetic tweets about human rights. This was published by a social media branch of the official Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  23. Yep and there were no groups affiliated with terrorist organizations, no Ukranian "ISIS", Al Qaeda, no terror cells, no Sept.11.
  24. Russia is certainly not very happy with the US administration these days. New U.S. sanctions could pitch Russia relations to new low
