  1. The "Peoplekind" thing was what made me give upon Justin Trudeau. The fact that he actually corrected her, in front of an audience, was very aggressive and pushy. He bullied that woman, and what he said was a completely stupid, bunch of bullshit.
  2. I think a better question is, who are the Russian trolls? Are there any here among us? And when did you stop beating your wife? Thanks,
  3. That's a pity. Plenty of others have born consequences when the system changed before though. I could probably show specific examples. Some are losing, some are winning. That single example doesn't necessarily prove what's happening in the overall picture.
  4. Bad Pooh Bear!

Piglet refused to show the proper Revolutionary Spirit and lied to Winnie about honey production figures.

      Off to reeducation!

  5. Gangs can probably never be eradicated. Some gangs are connected to larger organized crime units, who have a lot of power and influence in society. Finally in the end, the system itself is corrupt... so good luck with that.
  6. Sounds reasonable. I think Donald Trump is like a gambler. He's playing high stakes economic... poker.
  7. Not sure what you mean but I don't see this as a battle. And I don't do, or respond to, ad-hominems. If that stuff turns you on, I hear there's another forum for that! I see this as more of a cultural battle than a generational one. There are countries around the world who are our allies, and who do well with their economies, who do not have a notorious problem with human rights. The only world I described was one of prosperity. Our trend is going negative, and that is important to a lot of people. The west is still superior in technology and arms, and must be protected to stay that way, because it's only in the west that you can live in relative peace and prosperity, and not be afraid of the government. Only the west is progressive. If you can think of a better, eastern example, please name it. Every country has the right to protect their interests. The global economy is not a loving, caring or sharing community. The economic "war" we see today is nothing more than a necessary, but very late correction. I cannot say if it is working yet, only speak in general terms about ideas I agree with in principle. Here are Trump's tweets today. They suggest that the changes he implemented are having an effect. Some parts I underlined to show he is using tariffs as a means to negotiate better deals. Tariffs are working far better than anyone ever anticipated. China market has dropped 27% in last 4 months, and they are talking to us. Our market is stronger than ever, and will go up dramatically when these horrible Trade Deals are successfully renegotiated. Tariffs have had a tremendous positive impact on our Steel Industry. Plants are opening all over the U.S., Steelworkers are working again, and big dollars are flowing into our Treasury. Other countries use Tariffs against, but when we use them, foolish people scream! Tariffs will make our country much richer than it is today. Only fools would disagree. We are using them to negotiate fair trade deals and, if countries are still unwilling to negotiate, they will pay us vast sums of money in the form of Tariffs. We win either way. China, which is for the first time doing poorly against us, is spending a fortune on ads and P.R. trying to convince and scare our politicians to fight me on Tariffs- because they are really hurting their economy. Likewise other countries. We are Winning, but must be strong! ETA- Therefore isolating the economy is not the thing.
  8. I disagree, there are many in every country worldwide who agree with these changes, which is like a course-correction. The direction that economies are going is is headed for disaster. Enough with the demand to feel shame already.
  9. Please... the politically correct term is "irregular migrants".
  10. I am and there are millions like me with the same attitude. Millions. More than half of Canada lives in small towns, and are not so afflicted with liberal poison. And I predict a shit-kicking for liberals come the next federal election. But this is off topic, so fathom that.
  11. Used to love this show as a kid...
  12. Sure buddy, you are free to ignore the discussion if it doesn't fit with your false narratives.
  13. That's why we don't like strangers in small towns. Them fake refugees who disappear can stay in the big cities, because, sorry we ain't got no jobs here! I don't think that's it. I for one am pissed off that the government is willing to give a free ride to anybody who crosses the border illegally, and has taken so many in that it will take years to sort it all it. Yet the government has no problem ignoring the plight of homeless Canadians, including children and veterans. Their message is and have always been that this was the best they can do. This situation stinks like ideological bullshit, and that is why people are very upset by this. The answer is not to give them "due process", as there's no reason to accept refugees from the USA. They should not be accepted at all, but immediately turned over to US authorities.
  14. Making yourself vulnerable to your adversaries is generally a bad idea. People always scratched their heads in wonder about why we make deals with countries that would make them rich, and make us more poor. Who benefits from that? Not us, I tell you. We are poorer than our parents generation. Not that they were rich, mind you. But back in the day, the Mom stayed home and the Dad went to work. One income, yet they had a car, a house, sometimes even a cottage up north. One income, ok? And Dad was a welder.
  15. Of course it will be. Short term pain, long term gain? How long? Who knows. But the alternative to keep doing the same thing you are doing now, and hoping for a different, better result is not going to work. Question is why now, why after so many years of people warning that doing trade with certain countries are bad trade deals that lead to eventual poverty of your nation, why did they wait until now to take action when it's so late in the game? Perhaps it is a ruse, just as the tariffs are a ruse. Trump does not seem to want tariffs, because of his enthusiasm after the meeting with Junckers. Possibly he sees them as a means to an end. The desired end result is and always has been, US dominance. There are issues at play here that go far deeper than just simple, one-dimensional analysis. I for one would prefer US because it's better than Chinese dominance... Russian dominance... Indian... Pakistani... Malaysian... Mexican... even European. Look at the EU, run by an elite group with no obligation to look after any one group in particular. Instead, they dictate their terms for others to follow. Most people who live under it can't stand it. People want control over their destiny, through self-determination. Hence the reason Americans elected Donald Trump.
  16. Presumably the idea is to "buy American".
  17. Been to a hospital ER lately? if not, be prepared to wait at least 5-6 hours before someone sees you, unless you're dying on the stretcher. In which case, good luck to you and best wishes. My old neighbour died in the waiting room, after he awoke in the morning and could not see out of one of his eyes. He was having a stroke. After two hours waiting to be seen, he up and died. Last time I was there with a broken foot, waiting to be seen for an -ray. After 5 hours, I just left. You know it's a nightmare, so don't you try to defend the goddamned shame of it! You mean you are. Your "Florida place", eh? That's nice... Plenty of people are certainly not well off enough to afford a trip anywhere, and not happy about the situation in Canada.
  18. Yeppers. I'm not judging whether it's right, and technically they are no longer violations if the regulations are removed. But it makes sense to do this if a nation wants to be competitive against countries that have very few pollution and safety regulations in place. In some cases, these self-imposed regs (many pushed through under Obama, or by liberals generally) are excessive, as though trying to make up for other country's lack of commitment. It gets to the point that domestic production has no chance of competing on the world market. Sometimes bureaucrats impose these regulations carte blanche, without any understanding. In some cases, other industries died off due to the fact that third world countries can exploit their workers and environment, without restriction. We know that's happened. Perhaps Trump wants to roll back the clock, get off the Chinese dope. This is something long called for, as a warning to guard against the exploitation. But globalization makes it impossible to resist, without some enforcement. Tariffs come to mind... But at this point, late in the game, change can only come about through a transitional period of pain and suffering. The fact that those countries could own the western economy finally becomes a matter of national security.
  19. Yeah I understand you. I think what most people who are"anti-Islam" want is for them to leave those undesirable traits, misogyny, desire to attack the infidels, hatred of Jews, back in their home environment. When they live in this environment, that they become one of us. But to the point you made earlier which I called you on, you "projected" Islam upon yourself, and could not fathom you ever becoming violent. Rightly so. I think that it really underscores the problem with Liberalism, equating otherness back to oneself, and then making a judgement based on ones personal bias, without understanding the cultural context of people who live in a completely different environment. This is a dangerously naive attitude.
  20. I know you want to believe that because it makes you feel better. Show me where I've ever said "most of them". Yep, like most of your views are idiotic, fella. Go take your medication again.
  21. Yep. Those are the ones we're talking about. Those people have no problem fucking each other over, you know. Apparently the group that kills the most Muslims is... other Muslims.
  22. Of course, because you were likely born and raised here, where Canadian values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence have been instilled in you since birth. Our environment shapes us.
  23. Because if they don't think that, they can't sleep at night?
