  1. I have trimmed my reply.
  2. So you have the right to do the same?
  3. I can't see that as easy. It seems to me, there is no way an honest person can make it to the top. Real honesty does not matter, in politics. There is always the image of honesty. What matters is money, and you can make a lot more money being dishonest. Hence an honest man has no hope, in this world...
  4. Minister of Justice? Nay.

    Minister of Justin!

  5. Hard to say, depends what mood I'm in. But generally- "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women."
  6. It seems that "Remain", the anti-Brexiters, have found themselves a possible way out. All they need to do is not approve or ratify any plan that is put forward. Brexit is simply an idea. To ratify is to put the lid on the coffin. If they can delay exit day (currently March 29), they would be able to the referendum question again a second time.
  7. Quick, cue more news stories about plane crashes and women and children getting hit by cars. Only the state can protect you.

  8. Pointing out the bias or hypocrisy of someone's views, whether they be intentional or simply naive, is never a waste of time. Unless we all agree that hypocrisy is entrenched in the system
  9. Same goes for people listening to news from the ideological far left. You cannot reasonably claim that there is a media campaign with an agenda to influence people's beliefs, unless you agree it is happening equally on both sides. To say that Trump provides a media attraction is fair enough, but saying it in isolation is biased. Unless you talk about both in a larger context of what it means, it is a futile and pointless statement that contributes to the same noise.
  10. PMO denies 'hostility' in Trudeau's interactions with Liberal MP

Hey PMO, doesn't she deserve to be heard? That's what I thought the Prime Minister said, any time these sort of matters arise. They seem to be arising a lot lately.

My advice to Mr. Trudeau is, maybe it's time to take a long walk in the snow...

      scribblet

Yup, and all the other female MPs sent out boiler plate tweets saying how great Trudeau is...

Got this from Facebook,  from her husband but

Is there something wrong with hostility? I find it very effective.

For one, hostility is not permitted in the workplace, BubberMiley. People who have real jobs all know that.

Unlike Mr. Trudeau who has never had a real job before.

  11. How quickly the worm turns, sometimes
  12. Trudeau is an empty shell. He only acts as a front man, a face for the party, while the notion of true leadership eludes him. He did not rise to the position of PM because of his leadership skills, and is beholden to others who tell him what to do. In contrast, Trump rose to the presidency despite intense opposition from both sides of the US political spectrum. He did not rise to his position by their help, and thus is not beholden to them.
  13. Canada's golden boy loses his shine.

    Headlines from around the world

"Once bathed in a divine light..."

Trudeau a tragic hero of Aristotelian proportions.

You can't make this shit up, bro!

  14. Yes the liberals gave nuclear a bad name, but it was out of sheer ignorance. Nuclear is the most important modern source of electrical power. Fortunately there are rational people who listen to scientists and engineers, and won't allow the country to be misled into a bad decision. The Trump administration is pro-nuclear and is providing new funding fr research and development of new nuclear technology. The Chinese and the Russians already know how important nuclear is in terms of security, and are building several new reactors, each year. Many are conventional PWR types, but there is very keen interest now to develop new technologies like breeder reactors, fast neutron, and molten salt. On the even more "far out" side is fusion. ITAR is the big international project that is expected to produce sustainable electrical power within the next 20 years. We shall see.
  15. A perfect example why such questions should not be put to referendum. The issue is too complex for the general electorate to make an informed decision. All they can do is vote based on emotions.
  16. I also heard, hell is freezing over.
  17. Liberals have quietly changed the title "Ombudsman" to "Ombudsperson". Nice to know they have time and money for the important things that matter!

Liberals appoint a new veterans 'ombudsperson'

Liberals there are many more word challenges on the horizon!
    - Humanity, Humans
    - Other species, Neanderthal Man, Cro-Magnon Man
    - Job designations, Garbage Man
    - Personal names, Manfred, Manolo
    - Place names, Manchester, Isle of Man
    - Movies, The Man from Uncle
    To name but a few!

  18. Trudeau a veritable Canadian Tragedy. Icarus hath fallen, having soared too high against his father's advice.

Agreed...a Greek tragedy for sure...complete with hubris.

  20. I don't remember my position either. Let me know if you figure anything out.
  21. Indeed again! And if I were to list what I think is actually wrong with the US, it's that they are not behind Donald Trump all the way! Meanwhile important work like US/ China trade negotiations are ongoing. These appear to be tied to the upcoming summit meeting between Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un. The world would do well to wish Trump success and keep it's fingers crossed, in what might literally be a pivotal meeting for the future fate of all mankind!
  22. Hah! You used to have ten times more opportunity. Now you're only about, 7 or 8 times.
  23. Don't know, but if I ever get hold of that bugger I'll make his eye's water. Who the hell created this mess anyway? Someone should be held accountable. Or maybe I'm wrong. Good and evil is all about statistics, probability, and playing the odds. There is no certainty, only sublime stochasticism. Like playing the casino.
