  1. Berlin (CNN) Nearly four years after almost 1 million refugees were welcomed into the country, Germany has quietly been closing the window on asylum applications and ramping up deportations.

Germany rolls up refugee welcome mat to face off right-wing threat

Well well well, Germans are out. Seems that everything they were warned about in their mad immigration scheme has come true. Anyone else want to make a case for forced multi-culti immigration?

Oh no!   Now, the UN will really be dumping them here instead!

You can bet that's on. Our Liberal leader is a freight train heading straight down a dead end track. He does not have the brains nor ability to change direction. Question for Canada is, does anyone else

  2. I too have had issues in this regard. I have not had problems as long as I implement the MLW trinity, "Report, Ignore, Move On." For this I use the acronym RIMO. It's the ignore part you likely failed on, of RIMO.
  3. Hammer came down, and that is all. Like in hockey, one must accept the ref's decision and move on.
  4. You're right. Compared to the number of deportations under president Obama, Trump has been negligent! Deportations under Trump are on the rise but still lower than Obama’s, ICE report shows Dec 14, 2018 Amid President Trump’s push for tighter immigration policies, the United States deported more than 256,000 people in 2018 — the highest number since the Obama administration, new data shows. In fact, U.S. deportation numbers were higher during the Obama administration, reaching 409,849 in 2012, according to ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations reports. Data shows that in 2015 and 2016, however, the number of those deported dropped to 235,413 and 240,255, respectively. The highest numbers deported under Trump so far barely exceed the lowest numbers deported under Obama. Trump really needs to step up his game!
  5. People do not make nuclear weapons, in the spirit of cooperation.
  6. Perhaps those people who are living there illegally, and working etc. may have to be rounded up and sent back home. It's one possible solution, and I think it has been proposed. Other one is to make them legal. But then they won't be a cheap source of labour any more, would they. So that is pointless. Personally I would do nothing with them, but I would try to stop the influx of new illegal migrants. Increasing law enforcement would be a good idea. Not sure how many have been deported by now under Trump, but I heard several million illegals were deported under president Obama. In fact the deportation rate under his presidency increased. Pretty sure I read that somewhere.
  7. That's debatable. There will always be some who can get past various normal security levels, such as walls, doors. These things keep people out of my house. What you people are proposing is that I should let anybody walk into my house. And I like sitting in my bathrobe a lot, know what I mean? In other words, I like my privacy. I have a right to say to anyone, get the fuck out of here...
  8. It's my understanding they already have built some walls, my friend. In fact they are building along one part right now, I think I heard that. It was already funded before Trump. Walls are needed to stop people. But they should still let the animals through...
  9. You make your living bringing people into places where they can only do more harm. Eco-tourism is yet another part of the problem, with tour guides such as yourself bringing boatloads of deluded city slickers to gawk at the last refuges of pristine wilderness. Just being there is a problem already. For as much as they "seek refuge", they bring that rotten troubled world with them. That's what we always do, and there's you taking em right in there. Oh well. But hey, economics lookin pretty good, right?
  10. That's nice. I guess based on your principles, Canada stop doing business with... itself.
  11. Alas I fear that nuclear war is inevitable, especially if time is infinite then all possibilities must be played. But seriously, I think Murphy's Law is a biotch.
  12. I agree. I think these people have been played. Trump faces incredible opposition from the Dems, and to make matters worse his own party was not able to get this done, even when they were fully empowered. But despite those problems it seems he's able to get them to work together, and at the same time get what he wants. Maybe. We shall see!
  13. My answer is neither of the above. The blessed cup is empty.
  14. Whomever opposes the globalist agenda will be attacked, from all sides no less. It's a simple equation: Brexit failure = Globalism safe. Yet while wealthy globalists lament the loss of their profit margins, ordinary folks who know what it means to struggle to survive are willing to put up with it, in order to make a better future for themselves and their kids.
  15. Apparently they were given an extension to complete the report, so they're on borrowed time already. And since this is now contributing to the nonsense, it's time to wind 'er down. Enough is enough.
  16. What we (or rather, the Americans) need to do is bring the Mueller investigation to an immediate end. It has in part contributed to this crisis in the media, by maintaining such secrecy and allowing the gossip to reach a level where people can't tell if it's real, or fake news. Mueller investigation is now part of the fake news drama, and demonstrates that it must conclude right now. The report has to be released immediately. Hopefully that will stop people from reaching bizarre conclusions based on hysterical what-if's, and finally get some of the gossipers to shut up. Yeah right, as if!
  17. Sorry but those complex arguments don't pass the 15 second media soundbite... so Dems will lose on this one. It seems odd that the left is more concerned about Trump breaking his campaign promises yet his supporters themselves don't seem to care at all. In fact, quite the opposite... they love the success he's had. Especially, in the face of such intense liberal adversity, making each victory, each exposition of liberal shallow depth, liberal bias, unfair influence, cheating, corruption, hypocrisy on their own talking points, all the more sweet. These liberal hotheads have nearly set themselves on fire. One more Trump victory and heads will explode! Kinda neat to watch... from a distance. Wouldn't know about the Bill Maher show... we don't get that around here and I probably wouldn't watch anyway if we did. Point is, it means nothing to those who support the overall direction Trump is moving America in. They hope that he keeps that up as much as possible, and don't care how many whores he has or hasn't fondled.
  18. Didn't the Dems demand this very thing not too long ago? Sounds to me like Trump is giving them what they want, so why isn't it a win for them? In other words why don't they want it now? Because it's not about the idea, but who is selling it. Whoever provides the solution is the winner. There's no way that Dems are going to let Trump look like he's got a win, even if it means they keep the government shut down. Meanwhile all Trump's gotta do is keep offering solutions that will make him look good, knowing the Dems cannot accept them. You've heard of an offer you cannot refuse? He's making them offers, they cannot accept. And when they refuse, he wins. Dems have no choice but to refuse, and look bad. So they now own the shutdown.
  19. Hard to say that I am a supporter of Trump, or what Trump is selling. I think the latter part is more important. Trump the person is probably a liar and guilty of most everything they, the media, have said about him. As to all of that, yes, you are right. I don't care.
  20. Actually my son might have said yes, when he was 10 years old.
  21. Doesn't matter now what shoulda, what they need to do is prepare for the worst, since that is what's coming. Contingency plan time. No one should be surprised that stupid Brits could not come to an agreement. This sad spectacle speaks of the impotence of our government system as partisanship increases. No one is willing to compromise. Secondly the reason for compromise, which was nationalism, is not there. Partisans on the left and right have always bickered, but would concede and find agreement "for the good of the country" . Brexit is really about Britons resisting globalization and wanting to maintain control over their borders. It is a refutation of globalism, and therefore also a threat to it. Yet there are, likely, British politicians whose interests are not beholden to the Britons per se, they are globalists. Hence no interest to do what is right, for the country. In fact quite the opposite, Brexit must be painful. If Brexit were seen as good, it is a threat to the integrity of the EU.
  22. “Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed. We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over. In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay, I am sure you would agree that postponing this public relations event is totally appropriate,”

I understand they were standing at the gate waiting for a plane to pull up when this tweet arrived. Nicely done! And with full media exposure too.

“I also feel that, during this period, it would be better if you were in Washington negotiating with me and joining the Strong Border Security movement to end the Shutdown. Obviously, if you would like to make your journey by flying commercial, that would certainly be your prerogative.”

      Nice finish

  23. Really the problem is access given automatically and with immediate rights to do anything they want, including breach of any and all rules. These people are on a suicide mission, so they don't care if it's all over quickly for them. Just get in and create the damage as quickly as possible. I think any new member who makes a name like ddgde, or zxcz would be a good candidate to put on automatic suspension as soon as they join. Perhaps given only one forum in which they can participate upon joining. They remain in this forum of detention until a human being reviews their application. Then they submit it for final approval to the forum management. They in turn only meet monthly... you get the picture.
