Hardly guilt. The Cooler gives me a chance to arrange M.Dancer's bones into comical poses. Besides, there's a stool, now...and the cockroaches are fresh.2 points

Another one who has forgotten the US election. No thanks re: your points.2 points

And yet, when a couple of dozen people turned up at the mosque where that kind of thing was being preached, to protest it, you felt the need to start a topic to discuss their 'Islamophobia'.2 points

And I'm sure they were all Arab Muslims. Because sexual assaults are never done by the anglo-saxons. Let the 'omg this is never done by non-immigrants' excuses ensue. Those Arab Muslims, they love to walk up the women and grab their pu**ies.2 points

but Trudeau is way more likely to mess up without all that big and best stuff, you know? Trump has all the best things. He's got the best people, the best resources, the best experience, the biggest military, the biggest small hands, the best hair and definitely the best words. The job's going to be a cakewalk for him. His administration is a finally-tuned machine firing on all cylinders.2 points

Trudeau is trying to pull a fast one. I don't think USA will buy that. If they did, then every country that sends troops will say they're contributing "qualitatively" to NATO. It's humiliating for Canada.2 points

Darn, you make it too hard for me to give you a like! Most of your posts are on the hate speech thread! I ain't giving up, though. Still searching for something I can live with.1 point

Is there a faster way to give your allotment to one member? Do I really have to go looking for her posts?1 point

Most of the illegals in the US are from Latin America. Maybe you need to come up with some other nonsensical reason to blame us.1 point

From what I understand you can give up to 20 a day, I have never been anywhere near the limit so I am just basing that on previous comments. The other day someone gave me a bunch as well, but they were not for one post but several posts in the same thread. It appears that instead of evaluating the individual comments, people are just deciding to cheer on an individual contributor. Whatever, let the children play.1 point

Somebody should tell Pence to go piss up a rope. Anyone who goes around the planet deliberately making as many enemies as America does is no ally of anyone - America is the proverbial rogue nation that a real alliance of more civilized nations should have put back in its place decades ago,1 point

I don't disagree, but with over 60 conflicts around the world, and our nations incessant nature to get involved..... turning swords into plowshares is a little early....1 point
-
Until the guy who kept his sword takes away your plow and the land you use it on. IMO It is only honourable if everyone does it and even then, if you are outnumbered 10 to 1 you are screwed even if no one has anything more than their fists.1 point

Politicians in every western country seem to be puppets these days. Who's the one pulling the strings of the puppets? I wish I knew but even though I don't take tinfoil-hat stuff seriously but having said that what is going on everywhere in Western-Europe these days is far too consistent to be co-incidental. Soros or Bilderberg or whoever but someone is running the show.1 point

You're welcome. Next-up: Let's rename the Hudson's Bay Company to something French.1 point

Islam has been literally invading cultures since its creation in the 7th century AD. It's pretty good at this business of taking over.1 point

Because you're contesting the validity of claims regarding Bombardier's lack thereof. You're also protesting our questioning of repeated Bombardier corporate handouts/welfare, bizarrely implying that we can't discuss it specifically without talking about accountability as a general macro issue. If you extend the logic you're using a little bit further you can see how absurd it is: -How can you demand accountability from federal government and Bombardier without demanding it from corporate Canada across the board? -How can you demand more corporate accountability without demanding more from politicians? -How can you demand more political accountability without demanding more from the public service sector? None of these leaps make any actual sense, and all we really do is expand the envelope and derail the discussion.1 point
-
What are you even talking about at this point? I'm not even sure you know. This is gobbledygook running off the rails.1 point

To add, Argus, if the concept of fasad is understood, one begins to see why so-called moderate Muslims do not object to Jihad. Nobody wants to be a mischief maker and dubbed an apostate for doing so.1 point

Look at the income alone of soldiers. The normal enlisted rank is corporal. They earn roughly $60,000 a year as a base. On top of that they get increments and specialist pay. Add benefits to that. Benefits in the military are higher than any other job. Usually benefits add between 30%-50% to the cost of each employee. I would suggest it's higher for the military. Then you have the cost of all the gear/equipment they need in their jobs. That's everything from tanks, fighters, uniforms and naval ships to computers, desks, and the usual buildings, energy and heat for offices.1 point

Pretty flippant, And ban sharia is something all Canadians should get behind, or maybe you're looking for a little more control over your wife?1 point

I see Trump went all "crybaby" toward the press yet again today in Florida. Is it perhaps that orange crap he sprays himself with that makes his skin so thin?1 point

I lived through it. But, at some point I was deemed fit enough for regular Canadian public schools. Said the Lord's Prayer evvvvvery morning before class. Nobody gives me cash for that (gulp) travesty. Soooooo....what's a Native? A question for the ages. Ask Uncle Louie when he comes over...1 point

Practically everybody in this city I'm in is Native to some degree or another. At what point does one become white?1 point

If this was happening in a post election Democratic White House administration I would expect the Republicans would be encouraging the 2nd Amendment folks to mobilize so the nation could be rescued from the treasonous traitors in power.1 point

AFAIC anyone who needs to establish a lie so they have a basis for their case should be disqualified from any further participation in the debate. They lack, completely, the moral and ethical background required to weigh in on any issue of any import at all. What we really need is a vaccine for conservatism.1 point

I don't understand the part where your source says its a featured opinion. Maybe you can explain that in better detail.1 point

What meds, prescribed by who? You figure schizophrenics just diagnose themselves and purchase anti-psychotics off the shelf like it was cough medicine or something? The Sun is completely full of shit and so is anyone who peddles it. It's as simple as that. I have to say the arguments that have been presented so far here today in the case against Will Baker are about as lame and flat out wrong as it gets around here. Maybe everyone's waiting to see if Rona Ambose can come up with something more substantive than than it "doesn't seem right". OTOH Ambrose is probably casting about for a better argument too and "it just feels wrong" is about the best thing she's hearing bubbling up from the right-wing base she represents, I guess it would be a little unseemly to cite things like the prescriptions for lead to the head or the lol's and yuks about the eating habits of schizophrenics, whattya think? I have to say conservatism is just about the nastiest challenge the mentally ill have to overcome.1 point

And so would you also take funding away from people who eat Mcdonalds burgers everyday, smoke a pack a day, drimk lots of beer and them have a heart attack? Who would you allow funding?1 point

Which of course is entirely predictable, but is purposefully not foreseen.1 point
