This is why Trump and Republicans will win California and the midterms. The left is running on emotional arguments. They are running against success. Trump has accomplished a secure border, lower housing costs, lower food costs, Trump accounts, the Big Beautiful Bill tax cuts, exposing fraud, cutting waste, eliminating unnecessary beauracracies, total victory in Venezuela, total victory in Iran, fentanyl deaths plummeting, drug over doses plummeting, crime at all time lows, murder at all time lows, released Epstein files, UFO files, JFK files, Trump Rx and so on. The left's only argument against that is "Trump is fascist." Which is weird because he just endorsed a man's company after that man endorsed his opponent in the election. I don't remember fascist being that forgiving. "Trump is a dictator" they say. Yet he is following all the court rulings, even the ones he disagrees with. Now look, Spencer Pratt is also running on emotional grounds in his campaign. But he is running against abstract failure. The Palisades. Homelessness. The high speed train. Drug addiction. Crime. All of these things are just abysmal failure in Cali. So the emotional plea to make a change from failure is an easy sale to make. What the left is doing, regarding Trump, is hurting themselves. they are not making any logical excuse for why they are against safer streets, fewer drugs, lower prices, international stability, and Governor transparency. They are telling the public they don't want the public to be safer, sober and better informed. So we can under the opposite is true. They want us to be endangered, drugged out and in the dark.1 point

Far be it for me to defend the crooked Orange shitstain, but whether attacking Iran is a violation of international law is a questionable claim at best. Given that Iran has been funding, organizing, training, and equipping a variety of terrorist/guerrilla entities to make direct war on Israel and murder its citizens (which definitely gives Israel casus belli), Israel has every right under international law to go after them. And the US, as their ally, can certainly assist them. Iran's proxies have also murdered Canadians and Americans, and fired missiles at American and other Western civilian shipping.1 point

Yes, I'm sure those are issues. But they don't become issues until we PLACE A BLOODY ORDER! Which we have not yet done. Tanks? Armored vehicles? Trucks? Artillery? Anti-aircraft systems? Antiarmor systems? Submarines? Helicopters? Ammunition? You can buy off-the-shelf stuff. Why is there no project to just build our own armed drones? Is the technology too complex? If so, why are Turkey and Iran producing hundreds, if not thousands? Note, I'm not talking about those absurdly expensive Reapers, which we're going to spend a bloody fortune on and get in ten years. By the way, the US has reportedly lost two dozen of them in Iran. We're paying $2.5 billion for 11 of them. Turkey, meanwhile, is selling its drones (these aren't suicide drones, but ones that carry missiles) to such great military powers as Croatia, Saudi Arabia, and Mali. Mali will have sophisticated, long-range armed drones while Canada has none. Doesn't that sound absurd to you?1 point

It looks like the US and Trump were defeated in the war and Trump is signing a deal with the terrorist murderous regime in Iran who recently killed over 50,000 of its own people and the reason is because Americans are cowards and don't have the balls to land ground forces in Iran. The West and the US and humanity will pay a high price. This Islamic regime is by far more dangerous than Nazi Germany and red Soviets were. The world was united and defeated both Nazis and Soviets but the world now is not ready even to pay a higher price of oil because the West is weak and stupid and the population used to comfort and luxury. The Islamist wilL take over the west starting with Europe. They intimidate the citizens into submission. They rape the white girls and will force them to wear hijab. The regime will develop nuclear weapons and means to deliver them too. Wake up to the danger. The Islamo-fascists are not at the door anymore. THERE ARE HERE.1 point

The ones from the Pacific tend to be more tolerant than the ones from the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia, but they all stifle innovation and freedom. The Muslim world is poor because it's Muslim. These countries all observe Islamic prohibitions on borrowing and loaning money for interest, which means they have very weak and tiny banking sectors. There is also an Islamic thing about not earning money from the labour of another, which has caused there to be almost no major corporations in the Islamic world. They're mostly small, mom-and-pop or family outfits. Starting to see why the Marxists like Islam? Then there's the problem of Islam turning away from science, philosophy, technology, etc. This started around the 14th century with the rise of the Ash'arite school of theology, which basically said you don't need to know anything that isn't in the Quran or Hadiths. All is as Allah wills it. The brightest young boys for centuries have studied the Quran instead of science, engineering or technology. Every time you see a tall, shiny building in a Muslim nation, check out who the architects were and who was hired to build it. Not Muslims. Westerners still mostly maintain the oil infrastructure in the Arab world, too. Muslim countries (2 billion people) have only ever had 4 Nobel Prizes in science. Two were Turkish-Americans, one was Egyptian-American. By contrast, 221 Jews have won the Nobel for Science. I completely agree. The solution is to get an active conservative government in and have it start reversing this. Change the grant structure for universities and for overall education in transfers to the provinces. Get involved in ensuring there is unbiased teaching. Refuse any and all research grants to universities that are slanted. Don't even give any federal loans or grants to students who want to attend courses that are anti-Canadian or Anti-Western, and that includes all those moronic gender studies and feminist studies, etc. classes. Ban racial hiring, promotion, or any other racial or gender hiring and promotion preferences, as well as in the acceptance of students. Stop funding media that do it, too. Fire half the staff at the CBC, take it over, and start putting out patriotic programs and programs that encourage families to have children.1 point

But they are. Given the proximity and nature of the deployment any such move could easily result in Poland and American forces directly contesting that or moving into ukraine or even belarus while Russian forces were tied down in those other countries. That would all be a disaster for the russians. Yikes. How did you not see that. Nobody expects you to play 4d chess but you're failing at 1 d checkers somehow1 point

Actually that's not far off. As we know from the pew research studies as well as a number of other studies they do have a much higher percentage of mental health issues. Pew Research Center data, such as findings from the American Trends Panel, reveals a stark ideological divide in reported mental health, with Democrats, particularly those who are young and female, reporting significantly higher rates of diagnosed mental health conditions and psychological distress compared to Republicans. [1, 2, 3] pew research democrat mental health issues - Google Search Further, when you can look at the data closely democrats are fundamentally less happy and more prone towards bias to justify their hatred and anger. So you're absolutely right, they're messed up and it absolutely influences their work especially with regards to subjects like this Thanks for pointing it out! He never cites any facts. You mean you lied about it in your previous posts. Yes we can see that. Every single one of your claims has been shot down with evidence. And you keep coming back to the same nonsense, one day somewhere down the road we're going to spend money honest really for sure guaranteed we're not lying this time Which is bullshit Even you posted an article about how clothing had been purchased and we were going to get it any day and that was over a year ago and now they're running out and begging soldiers to give clothing and rucksacks back because they don't have enough. You're a liar and you simply are trying to defend the liberals against the indefensible and it's pathetic. Trump’s war is a disaster. It’s triggered a global economic crisis that he didn’t expect or plan for, even though anyone could have predicted it would happen. Period We have every right to criticize the deleterious global consequences of his staggering incompetence and malfeasance and refuse to join his folly and get our people killed under his incompetent command as that will only make things worse for us. Period When you see an incompetent fool make a disaster of something you might say “maybe I should join him and get caught up in the disaster myself!” But only because you’re a mindless MAGA bot who will follow your cult leader off the edge of cliff. . Besides Trump has made clear many times America doesn’t need anything from anyone and there’s nothing anyone can do that America can’t do by itself. Are you saying America is not capable of opening the strait on its own and needs our help? What could we possibly do that Trump can’t?1 point

Nope. We are not rescuing Trump from his disaster. Americans can let him know in November if they’re ok with the fact that he doesn’t think about them. Iran has been doing what they have been doing for decades for better or worse. That doesn’t mean it was ok or that we should tolerate it but it’s been the longstanding status quo Trump decided unilaterally that he was going to change that by attacking Iran and without consulting the American people or allies or forming any kind of coherent plan. It seems his people didn’t even do basic homework He massively failed Apparently It was a total surprise to the Trump administration that Iran could pull off closing the strait and the Iranians would have only HOPED they could pull it off. Now they KNOW. Nope. We will assign blame where it is due and we will not compound our problems by sending our forces in harm’s way under the command of the massively incompetent and corrupt Trump administration. We will endure while Trump twists in the wind. You know, Republican Mike Johnson had to pull a bill to end the Iran war from the House agenda because it was going to pass even though Republicans currently have a majority. ONE MAN in congress gets to set the House agenda as he pleases, and he has been preventing congress from holding Trump accountable since he took office, allowing Trump to rule like a king. That is all going to come back to bite you in November unless your election rigging and gerrymandering cheating pays off. I am sure the MAGAs are ready to repeat their 2020 election lies and steal attempts if they don’t like the results but the Republican party base is fracturing they are not going to have the same coalition of right wing kooks they have enjoyed in the past.1 point

Not in the strait that’s for damn sure! Shedding Canadian blood just to bail Trump out of the quagmire he created that’s tanking his popularity would be the bigger error. Unlike short-sighted entitled and impatient Americans, Canadians can endure temporary hardship for the greater, long-term good. And yet they didn’t do it until Trump attacked them out of the blue, that’s not a coincidence. They never did it before because they didn’t want to get attacked. But since Trump attacked them there’s no reason for them not to do it. Iran never would have dared to play that card before. Now Trump backed them into a corner for his own vanity and now learned they can actually pull it off Wanting to change the longstanding status quo with Iran is one thing but clearly Trump has completely misjudged and mismanaged this at an epic scale. This is not the outcome he wanted or expected and now he’s stuck. He never would have attacked Iran in the first place if he knew it would end up like this. Out of sheer ARROGANCE AND CONTEMPT for his allies, he FAILED to consult with any of us even though we are all now affected by his poor unilateral choices, TOTAL INCOMPETENCE and failure to conduct even BASIC PLANNING. Now he’s begging us to rescue him and reward his GROSS NEGLIGENCE by joining his doomed mission and dying under his INCOMPETENT LEADERSHIP. Not happening. Sorry, not sorry.1 point

Some opinions from Republican senators: Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY): "So the nation's top law enforcement official is asking for a slush fund to pay people who assault cops? Utterly stupid, morally wrong – Take your pick." Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC): Described the fund as "stupid on stilts." He added: "It will invariably put us in a position where your taxpayer dollars and my taxpayer dollars could potentially compensate someone who assaulted a police officer... That's absurd." He also referred to the proposal as "tyranny." Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA): Called it a slush fund with "no legal precedent," noting: "People are concerned about paying their mortgage or rent, affording groceries and paying for gas, not about putting together a $1.8 billion fund for the president and his allies." Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME): Stated she did not support the fund "as it has been described," adding, "I do not believe individuals that were convicted of violence against police officers on Jan. 6 should be entitled to reimbursement of their legal fees." Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI): Expressed deep skepticism about the optics and timing of the proposal, calling its unveiling "a giant mistake" and "a galactic blunder."1 point

I think you answered your own question. They've always been corrupt and hid as much as they could But now without opposition getting in their way they don't even try they just put everything under wraps and do whatever they want to do. Whatever they want to do probably isn't very good for the country tho, it'll be what's good for them. Very much like that yes. Probably somewhat. About 30 minutes after it's too late.1 point

Under the Shah, we were all good friends. Israel and Iran were allied on many levels if you can recall. The Shah...while not the best fellow...was nowhere near the barbarity of the Mullah's & crew. For most of the Shah's reign, things were just fine. It was the antisemitic Mullahs who hated the very idea of cooperation with Jews that started much of the unrest.1 point

No, dummy. Even if Trump’s BOGUS claims about a “nuclear armed Iran” were true, a responsible non-insane leader would still at least THINK about how it negatively impacts Americans and have some sort of program to help mitigate the harm. Especially since he is personally making BILLIONS off his own policies while everyone else suffers from them. But he admits he doesn’t even think about them. . Your usual mouth foam would quadruple if Carney ever said something like that. Your response once again confirms that you are not capable of adult discussion or complicated nuanced thought.
