  2. It's not my fault that you want to brown the entire f*cking planet. Go join an indigenous tribe somewhere.

  3. and that my dear sir is a prime example of pettifogging. Well done.

  4. Remember when these bums were calling Trump "TACO" - Trump Again Chickens Out" - because he wouldn't do something. Now of course, when he does something, they are crying and whining too. It never ends with these pettifogging fools. BTW - Lincoln used this phrase in the movie "Lincoln" (2012). He was talking about the "pettifogging Tammany Hall hucksters" that were preventing the 13th amendment from being passed to abolish slavery and free the slaves, from Democrats of course.

  5. There are certainly precedents for what might have happened to Nurul Amin Shah Alam. Enough to cause concern and an investigation. Consider the deeply disturbing, historical, and, in some cases, ongoing pattern of misconduct involving the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and municipal police forces, primarily in Saskatchewan, where Indigenous individuals have been abandoned in sub-zero temperatures, often referred to as "Starlight Tours" Baltimore Police are known for "Rough Rides". While not involving the cold, the practice of rough rides—where police intentionally drive a transport van erratically to injure a shackled, unbelted suspect—has been cited as a comparable form of extrajudicial "street justice." The 2015 death of Freddie Gray is the most prominent U.S. example of this. Whether it was through incompetence, negligence or indifference is moot at this point, only the Border Patrol officers will know for sure - in any case the practice of police just dropping people off the way Nurul Alam was given his circumstances should not be something that is allowed to happen again. Protocols and measures need to be in place that prevent it.

  6. Well, we come here for at least the semblance of a debate. But you're right. Perhaps I should pick my battles more judiciously.

  7. Yet again, F35's have performed very well in the recent operations against Iran. It's clearly a very capable aircraft. Stealth is a huge asset. I'm no expert on aviation matters, but based on what I've read, the F35 is the better plane. And Mark Carney has shares in Lockheed Martin.....

  8. I'm guessing you didn't bat an eye when at least 16 other people froze to death in Mamdani's city very recently.

  9. Federal Liberals pride themselves on being "in the know". Well, Carney was in India when Trump attacked Iran. Clearly, Trump did not consult nor even inform our PM of what he planned to do.

  10. 3 US warbirds down over Kuwait from friendly fire. Survivability of non stealth aircraft in modern war is questionable at best. Can’t shoot what you can’t see. https://www.centcom.mil/MEDIA/PRESS-RELEASES/Press-Release-View/Article/4418568/three-us-f-15s-involved-in-friendly-fire-incident-in-kuwait-pilots-safe/

  11. His job wasn't to do what was best for the uk. His job is not to do what's best for Canada. Exactly. THAT is his job. Sadly the fools who vote for him thought he was going to be prime minister

  12. Maybe move this conversation to the friendly fire thread?

  13. There's no such thing as "peacefully interfering in police business" lol. FYI that's called "committing a crime", not "peacefully protesting". Optionally, people can just be arrested for what they're doing, but it's not actually a big charge that they would be facing. If they resist arrest, however, they're on a really slippery slope, where nasty charges can quickly pile up. 😂 I would literally drop dead if I ever saw you engage in honest debate.

  14. Protesters, primarily in Minneapolis, have repeatedly tried to stop ICE from apprehending illegals that were actually guilty of very serious crimes, including SA against children. They did not care one iota. Unilateral war? That's debatable given Iran's long history of sponsoring terrorism against other nations so a strong case can be made that the regime had it coming. Whether it will turn out successfully for the Iranian people remains to be seen. I'm sorry, but opposing voter ID to strengthen election security is just foolish. And yes, they oppose it because they want to cheat. Look what's going on with California voter rolls. People on the voter rolls....125 years old....and still actively voting. There is clearly voting fraud there.

  15. How are you keeping score? With the bombing of the girls school, Trump's killed about 14x as many children. But on the other hand, only 4 US troops have died so far, so he's lagging behind there. Do you think he'll catch up? And the big question: once all the killing is done and the defense contractors have cashed their checks, do you think Trump will give Iran back to the oppressive Islamic regime the same way he gave Afghanistan back to the Taliban? I guess we'll see which is better when the totals are tallied. 🙄

  16. Well it actually does mean that, but if you are going to lie and call the brave officers of ICE "thugs", and you claim that they are "terrorizing cities" when in fact they are arresting the people doing actual terrorizing of cities while raping children, then you are truly a fool, who has drunk the stupid kool-aid of the Left, and might as well get your nosed pierced and dye your hair blue, while gaining 50 pounds.

  18. You're too IGNORANT to figure out that MANY KNEW Trump would abuse his authority for mainly PERSONAL GAIN. AKA protect HIMSELF from repercussions of his PAST CRIMES. May I suggest that you start THINKING before posting strong evidence of YOUR IGNORANCE. LMAO

  19. More bullshit. You still can’t answer how the Border Patrol had anything to do with his death.

  20. Yeah...a couple bullets when he viciously attacked LEOs would have been so much easier for everyone wouldn't it?
    1 point
  21. OK, then cite what is being reported on n the article to answer the questions and demonstrates how his death has anything to do with this. Now you are just engaged in a very weak form of circular reasoning and avoiding having to defend your baseless assertions.

  24. Apparently before the a/c departed, U.S. citizens were taken off the flight. The 'Canadians' killed in the shoot-down were a mixture of naturalized/ dual citizenship. The shoot down was no mistake, it was a terrorist act. Iran didn't recognize their dual-citizen status. Condemn Carney? He should be applauded.

  25. Not true we ordered MQ9 Skyguardian drones with munitions in 2023 and delivery of the first one is coming up. There are several drone projects underway with the army and navy. It’s actually a bit of a goldrush environment right now with all the money being handed out for drone and counter-drone tech. But yes we are playing catch up and still have a way to go.

  26. Stop with the bullshit. You have no idea what Carney’s investments are. Furthermore, Carney’s assets are in a blind trust so he doesn’t know either. There’s ZERO evidence Carney has made any decisions based on personal profit. Meanwhile your hero Trump is on the take like no western leader in history openly taking bribes in plain sight and you don’t say a peep you shameless tool.

  36. .............. probably use the downing of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752, Jan 8th 2020 as justification for supporting this military action.......... Fifty-five Canadians and 30 permanent residents were killed when Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp shot down the passenger plane in the skies over Tehran with a pair of surface-to-air missiles.

  40. I think he had some hard decisions there and I think the us would have been very angry at him if he didn't. So he was kind of backed into a corner. But he's definitely going to get some pushback and this is what people will be talking about instead of his india trip. I'm already seeing posts from the left who point out Sweden and France and a bunch of other European countries i've come out against the action, and they all comment on how this is supposed to be the coalition that carney claims to be leading yet they could do the right thing and he couldn't. He's already catching some flock for his trip to India because a senior unnamed official had said that India was no longer conducting any Trans country terrorism more activism, and many still believe that they are. Carney has not been willing to say one way or another which just makes him look sus. So even if a trade deal comes out of this I don't think anyone's going to notice.
