Come git some little man I noticed that with every other country trump is threatening the military but when it came to Canada he was like "No no no! Not them! I wouldn't threaten them militarily! Just econoimcally!!!" Trump scared of us and so are you. Like I said before, don't make us burn your white house down again3 points

Why would any rational human being purposely put themselves in such a position...against armed federal officers that have used lethal and less lethal force many times while conducting ICE operations ? ICE has a job to do...obstruction is a crime. I think this woman got in way over her head after watching too many YouTube videos, panicked, and drew deadly fire from an officer who had previously been injured under similar circumstances. I don't think she intended to hit him or others, but the officer doesn't know that in that instant. Her family's legal recourse will likely be a wrongful death lawsuit, not criminal charges against the ICE officer. City schools have closed for the rest of the week and protests are happening...crowds are not huge and there is no damage like in 2020. I will be going into Minneapolis on Friday and its seems relatively calm.2 points

What we discovered is that the supposed $4.5B contract your OP describes seems to be based on nothing more than phantom reports from phantom sources you scraped off social media. 10 paragraphs of useless nattering nobody is going to read doesn't magically substitute for this lack of evidence. 🙃2 points

Funny thing for you to say, since you made a fool out of yourself right out of the gate with your opening post. Yes, I'm aware, but how does that change the fact that you've once again been caught scraping balogna off your feeds for which no evidence is provided nor available? Perhaps you have some links or citations for the phantom reports and the phantom sources referred to in Google AI overview you copy-pasted here? This is the same AI tool that suggested people put glue in their pizza to make the cheese stick, btw. Congratulations on being bamboozled by misinformation...again. 🙄👍2 points

Are you talking about how leftists/Democrats are encouraging the lawlessness on the streets to create this chaos interfering with law enforcement?2 points

You need to watch the video. The guy was not in front of the car. He was to the side. She backed up and aimed the car at him. She then hit and hospitalized (for a short time) him. If she had just put the car in park and gotten out, the worst that would have happened is defending herself in court. But she chose to run and her actions put an officer in danger. Here is what she was doing, according to people that claim to know: Translation: she was out obstructing ICE. Some people say that. But she crawled through a window. That was the perimeter that that officer chose as the final barrier. He was justified. She was stupid.2 points

Yes, and barring any further substantiated facts to the contrary, this women died for nothing after getting caught up in the anti-ICE hype and mania. The ICE legal observer organization training specifically warns not to block ICE operations with vehicles or obstruct officers. But in death, she will serve as the martyr for like minded folks and the anarchists. Senseless and unnecessary event...totally preventable.2 points

WW2 began because one powerful country thought they had the right to invade and/or annex all the other countries in their sphere of influence for their own national self-interests. The logic is exactly the same. You're just another Republican warmonger. Someone dig up FDR please.2 points

Says the same AI chatbot that also says: There is no official evidence or public contract announcement that Brookfield Asset Management has been awarded a specific, large-scale Canadian or international government-funded contract to lead the general reconstruction of Ukraine. Naw, they're way to right-wing for my liking. They're into redistributing power to themselves and the gap between rich and poor is widening fast under them than it ever has. To be perfectly honest my increasing contempt for conservatives is rooted in seeing so many of you completely lose your shit over the last 25 years. It certainly hasn't inspired confidence.2 points

Because they're hearing and seeing stories in the news about Americans being snatched and shipped off to shit hole prisons by federal officers without due le process. What rational government does that to its people? Your government is terrifying it's citizens and a lot of your allies are also getting concerned about the way your government is behaving similarly on the global stage. But, you say this is all normal...a nothing burger...happens all the time... You're nuts.1 point

I don't like second guessing split second decisions (with a beer in hand) and having the benefit of frame by frame still views of FMV to do it. And I especially don't like the way the analysis of this event has broken down along political lines, probably because I didn't expect it. Otherwise though, I tend to agree with you. The draw began in the first 20% of forward tire rotation as the front wheel was being turned, note the wheel deflection (to the right) and position of the shooter as the first round is fired through the side window. I don't believe she was trying to hit him. I didn't look up the video until after I read about the encounter and saw the statement below... based on the description and statement, the video wasn't what I expected to see. ...rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them — an act of domestic terrorism,” DHS assistant secretary for public affairs Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement. Agreed... that's how I think it will play out too, and I would agree with the outcome should it come to pass. This was tragic, there are no winners here.1 point

Hospitals got paid for delivering medical care? Say it ain't so! They got paid for treating COVID, as they should, regardless of the outcome. They did not get paid to list COVID as the cause of death. Which is what you are accusing them of doing when you dismiss the death rates tracked for COVID. What you are insinuating, in the conspiracy manner, is that medical providers committed fraud and falsified their medical records, risking extreme personal loss, including medical license, fines, 15 years in jail, etc., all in exchange for a few dollars for the hospital. (Every business fantasizes about employees that loyal.) And also that this insane rationale was so widespread that it meaningfully skews the data. That's nutty. GTFO. A. Thanks for the link to the student newspaper article that you clearly didn't read, but what you are claiming is simply not true. You can criticize the secondary effects of lockdown, but there is no mechanism by which people staying home and reducing exposure to the virus causes the virus to spread more quickly. B. Even if you believe that kookery, it does not change the fact that young people in lockdown were not out doing the things that most frequently kill young people, accounting for the reduction in expected deaths. C. Even ignoring A and B, your hunches and speculations about why there were fewer than expected deaths among children, it DOES NOT CHANGE the fact that we have an actual count of COVID deaths among children. You said something dumb. Now your defense of it is just waving your hands and saying that we can't look at the data that unequivocally disproves your claim, because hairbrained theory X,Y,Z. And the "evidence" for those theories? Data. We're deep in the rabbit hole of your fiction.1 point

Well that's not quite true, But at the same time while I'm poking fun at the american (who is actually albertan) who keeps making jabs about us not being the 51st state, It is pretty obvious that trump is concerned about potential military conflict with Canada where is he isn't with others. In any real war america would win eventually but not before paying a rather steep price and possibly winding up with many decades of terrorist attacks within its own borders. More so than any two countries on earth, our people can blend with their people and be completely unnoticed even when engaged in casual conversation. There's no Shibboleth or Goedendag here And the American people wouldn't stand for it. There's already a lot of pushback even over the economic sanctions. Trump is more leery of pushing Canada than he is with other countries. There's a couple of good reasons for that1 point

You're having a stupid argument because you made a stupid claim. No, "the left" does not hate jewish people--including the people of Israel-- (leave that to the alt right). 2/3 of American jews are democrats. No, "the left" does not hate the geography or designation of Israel. Yes, "the left" generally--and sometimes very strongly--disagrees with the Israeli government's treatment of the Palestinians, and particularly the prosecution of this brutal war and the mass slaughter of innocents. You could say that they hate that action, but that's would be a pretty bizarre criticism. "You guys hate the mass murder of innocent people!" Doesn't have the same ring to it, does it? -- So you settle for a very dumb shorthand, accusing a largely undefined population, "the left" of hating a similarly undefined "Israel." You can't say what it really means, because there's not one iota of thought behind the accusation.1 point

Back peddle? As always, the vaccines are/were safe and effective. As always, the vaccines were an amazing success story, saving millions of lives. It's funny, I've showed you many, many charts from a broad sample of studies and regions--all of show consistently that the rates of hospitalization and death for the vaccinated are dramatically better--manifold better--than for the unvaccinated, and you're little pea brain just cannot grasp the difference between rates and raw numbers. It's really pitiful. I hope you've stumbled into some sustainable lifestyle that doesn't require any critical thinking.1 point

Greenland is not freaking out over this and they want the rest of us to stop freaking out about it. They want to talk to Trump, see what is on the table and why.1 point
-
Poor effort. "The left" doesn't "hate Israel," because that doesn't mean anything. But a big chunk of them strenuously disagree with and denounce the policies and actions of the current administration--both long term relationship with the Palestinians and more acutely, the slaughter of tens of thousands of innocents. And on the other, that's not a value. And also a very small circle relative to the violence from the right. Again, you can try to identify some aligned values, but you won't have much luck. The two groups simply don't believe in the same things.1 point

It looked to me like she also sped towards another officer, who jumped out of the way. I feel like this kind of tragedy is the obvious result of fear propaganda. I remember, early in covid, there was a woman in the US whose son had the sniffles and she stuffed him into the trunk of her car to drive him to Emerg and she got charged with child endangerment. But her reaction to her son's sniffles was natural when you consider the amount of fear propaganda going on at the time - a deadly virus that was going to kill almost everyone who got it, case number ticker tapes across every TV channel, lockdowns and fear pumped into the public 24/7. I think it's the same with this woman. Walz, the governor, repeatedly called ICE agents "Gestapo" and ordinary citizens have not only been told to resist but shown how to, various groups encouraging more and more extreme methods of resisting. ICE agents themselves have been subjected to all kinds of abuse, pepper sprayed, rocks thrown at them, constant harassment, screaming, shoving. It's been escalating.1 point

Since the left on here does not seem to understand, let's explain. If an officer gives you a lawful order, you must comply. She was told to get out of the car. She did not. That is a violation of the law. She then attempted to flee the officer. Another violation of the law. Resisting arrest, as she did, puts her, the officers and the general public in danger. When she used her vehicle to drive directly at the officer, that is a threat to the officer's life. Whether she hit him or not is not relevant. She threatened his life through her own actions. You do not have the right to resist arrest. You do not have the right to run from arrest. You must comply. If you don't, you give the officers a set of tools, including deadly force, to stop you. I am not saying deadly force will or should always be used. I am saying that you are opening the possibility by not being civil and orderly.1 point

Donald Trump checks all the boxes and Congress must impeach him; this kind of individual does not seek treatment on their own: Traits of a Psychopath (according to Hare’s Psychopathy Checklist–Revised, PCL‑R) A psychopath typically shows a cluster of personality traits and behaviors such as: Superficial charm and glibness Grandiose sense of self‑worth Need for stimulation and proneness to boredom Pathological lying Manipulative behavior Lack of remorse or guilt Shallow emotional responses Callousness and lack of empathy Parasitic lifestyle (exploiting others) Poor behavioral controls, impulsivity Promiscuous sexual behavior Lack of realistic long‑term goals Irresponsibility Failure to accept responsibility for own actions Juvenile delinquency history Revocation of conditional release (parole violations) Criminal versatility (engaging in many types of crime)1 point

Except we can see the videos. She was letting ICE vehicles through - she waved 2 vehicles through, which they did, no problem. But the third car decided to play "Cops 'n' Perps" with her and drew their guns. One untrained id!ot stood in fron of her car with his gun drawn. That action is against every police organization's protocol. She turned away to go. She did not ram anyone. That was murder. Congrats to Trump: he's got American para-military shooting innocent Americans. MAGA = Make Americans Gestapo Again !1 point

Awkward claim, considering your opening post included: "Brookfield company was awarded a reconstruction contract in Ukraine valued at approximately $4.5 billion" and The Contract/Funding: Brookfield reportedly secured a contract related to Ukraine's reconstruction. The amount is frequently cited as $4.5 billion or a related figure, with some sources linking it to a $4.3 billion aid package pledged by the Canadian government. It's always like this because you're generally full of shit. Show us some evidence of this contract. NOpe. Japan, the UK, and China are consistently the largest foreign holders of U.S. debt, with Japan often holding over $1 trillion, representing roughly 12-13% of foreign holdings, while the UK and China hold significant but varying amounts, with the UK recently holding around 9-10% and China around 8%, though their shares have shifted over time, with Japan taking the top spot from China around 2019. So china comes in at a distant third. They're not even close to number one Looks like you were Robo wrong again RoboSmith Do you ever get anything right1 point

Dude, that's an Op-Ed reprint from a pro-Israel advocacy group posing as a think tank. Their mission is to advance Israeli objectives in the media. Thanks for sharing, I guess, but that does not constitute an argument. I read it. It's a whole lot of words leading up to a wet fart of a conclusion that modern leftism and modern Islam are both derived from Marxism. Big eye roll on that one. At I said, it's politically convenient to demonize two "enemies" with the same broad brush, but it's a specious argument that simply can't stand up to scrutiny. You can find plenty of things that liberalism and Islam both oppose, but almost no values that they share in common. Try it out. Make yourself a venn diagram of values. See how that goes.1 point

Why would the USA need to be in control of Greenland (whether it’s stealing, invading or buying) in order to protect Greenland? Really? The White House said on Tuesday: "The president and his team are discussing a range of options to pursue this important foreign policy goal, and of course, utilising the US military is always an option at the commander-in-chief's disposal."https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cwyg1jg8xkmo1 point

On Ukraine and Indigenous Stuff Alone: Canada has provided nearly CAD $22 billion (~USD $16 billion+) in multifaceted assistance to Ukraine since February 2022, covering: Direct financial support Military assistance Humanitarian aid Reconstruction, development, and stabilization support This figure is confirmed in official Government of Canada announcements marking Canada as one of Ukraine’s largest bilateral contributors in this conflict. On Indigenous Stuff: One analytical estimate noted that annual Indigenous-related spending had tripled over the decade — from around $10 billion in 2014 to about $32 billion in 2025.1 point

If you don't take it from me, how about from Newsweek? "How the Left Fell in Love With Militant Islam " There has been a similar surprise for American moderates since the vicious, inhuman assault on Israel on Oct. 7 by Hamas. They have been shocked by the support for the Islamic extremists from Leftist academics and activists. How could ardently feminist supporters side with a culture that represses women? How could trans-rights activists back a society where any deviation from sexual or gender norms can result in death. What could the far left have in common with Islamists who seem to stand for everything they are against? Dig down and you'll see Islamists and radical leftists have a lot more in common than meets the eye. Prominent leftist scholars like Noam Chomsky and Judith Butler have expressed support for such terrorist groups as Hamas and Hezbollah and have described them as part of the international and progressive left.1 point

FactCheck.org put together a both sides argument. It is a he said, she said case. The Biden admin used drug traffickers that Juan Orlando Hernández had extradited to the US as witnesses saying Hernández was helping other drug traffickers. Their credibility is highly questionable as they got lesser sentences for their testimony. Hernández says the Biden admin set him up for political reasons. The fact that factcheck.org was fair on this lends a lot of credibility to Hernández's argument.1 point
