  1. 4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them. 8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” 15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” 16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told. The gifts we give each other symbolize our love for one another. The same love our Lord bestows upon us. On December 25th, we remember the day our Lord came down from the highest heaven and walked among us to teach us right from wrong and save us from our sin. That was his gift to us, for he loved us so much. Return the love to Him and the gift of salvation will be complete.

  2. And here’s another: he told the UN that the supposed “proof” that climate change is a hoax and renewable energy is a scam is that all the windmills are built in China while China doesn’t use any windmills itself. But the fact is that windmills are NOT primarily made in China and China has the world’s largest installed wind and solar production. Last year they installed more wind and solar than the entire rest of the world COMBINED.

  6. I propose that Donald Trump is a threat to Canada's National Security abd that should be voiced by our government. 51st state talk and threats to use economic force to annex us is just one thing. Demands to annex Greenland is another. Attempting to surround Canada on three sides and block access to OUR Northwest Passage is unacceptable and is vital to Canadian security, not the USA's. We should immediately launch talks with Denmark for a joint Greenland Defence & security policy and total free trade with Denmark to secure the sovereignty of both countries. We can't allow the people of Greenland to be forced into assimilation with people they have no cultural, ethnic, or historical ties to. Has any Cdn leader got the guts to stand up and point this out to Canadians? Some of us are too dumb or uninterested to realize the consequences of this Mad Real Estate Developer's ignorance of sovereignty.

  8. This is the story of someone who experienced it with a relative first hand. This kind of thing is common. quote By Barbara I am here to share a recent experience my husband had in a hospital in Alberta. It is not to point a finger at the doctor treating him because he respects and admires her. It is instead to put a spotlight on what the official government narrative is regarding MAID, how it is supposed to be administered, and what is in reality happening to vulnerable individuals who seek treatment at a hospital. (Not all individuals, but enough to raise an alarm.) On Wednesday, 7 May 2025, he was admitted to the hospital with a suspected pulmonary embolism. It was diagnosed and he was receiving treatment (blood thinners and morphine). On Saturday, his doctor came into his room (I was not with him at the time) and said to him, “I am embarrassed to ask you this question, but I am required by federal mandate to ask people over the age of 65: Do you want to end this?” ( He’s 67) with MGUS, a pre-cancerous condition. He immediately replied that he did not, and she said that she wouldn’t have accepted his answer anyway. He called me in surprise and shock and relayed his experience to me. I would have thought that perhaps he was confused because of the morphine, if it were not for an experience a dear friend of mine had three years ago when she was dealing with Stage 4 breast cancer. She fainted while she and her husband were out and he rushed her to the hospital in Calgary. When she awoke, she was in a hospital bed. Confused, she asked the nurse where she was. The nurse explained that she was in the hospital awaiting MAID. She asked what that was and when it was explained to her, she was outraged. She said she would never, ever request such a thing. When she chastised her husband for letting her be in that position, he was chagrined and said that when they brought her in, they asked her if she wanted it and she had agreed. Both of these experiences suggest that MAID is being raised not in response to the patient’s request, but rather based on age or the medical team’s assessment of quality of life. This is frightening. I believe that these two stories are not isolated. I fear many other seniors and vulnerable patients are being approached in similar ways and may not have the ability or presence of mind to respond confidently or resist. It makes me wonder if a hospitalized person needs the 24 hour presence of an advocate to prevent them from being pressured to take MAID. The narrative seems to have gone from a terminal person asking for MAID to doctors asking if the person wants MAID when they are in a vulnerable position. My prediction is that it will soon shift to pressure on people to do the right thing by ending their suffering. (Similar to Trudeau asking retired people to give up their homes for younger people). I share these testimonies with you in hopes that your organization can bring further attention to this disturbing trend and advocate for: **Transparency in how MAID is being introduced in hospital settings **Clear, age-neutral policies regarding end-of-life conversations **Stronger safeguards against miscommunication, pressure, or consent violations I am grateful that there are organizations like yours who advocate for the vulnerable sector among us. The End unquote Two personal stories regarding MAID – telling our side of the story

  10. 1) 25% of China’s massive electricity consumption is now generated by wind and solar, which completely debunks the right wing that renewables are some kind of hoax or scam 2) China still builds coal plants for BACKUP and PEAK power not everyday baseload power. We in the west tend to use gas plants for this purpose but China is dependent on vulnerable import routes for oil and gas so they prefer coal which they have in abundance. That said they have long-term plans to de-carbonize their grid: peak carbon emissions by 2030 and carbon-neutral by 2060 3) China is not the largest supplier of windmills used in Europe and North America. Most of the wind turbines used in Europe and North America are from Europe, North America or South Korea, once again exposing Trump’s lies. So while Trump keeps killing renewable energy projects left and right, China is laughing all the way to the bank and America falls further and further behind the rest of the world at the moment in time when power generation has never been more crucial to future success

  11. Freedom of faith (religion) is believed to be by some to be a fundamental human right that guarantees individuals the liberty to practice (express) and follow a belief of their choice without fear, coercion or persecution. Many overlook the fact that this 'right' was obtained with the sword, not the plow. I respect a martyr but give me the sword, eh? Be grateful for your 'right' ......... and for those that defend it. In this World, today, heralding 'freedom of religion' will get you, your family, your community, your country cancelled in the most obscene manner.......... course they're doing it with 'their' gods blessing

  12. In the interest of the Christmas season, I am going to insert some truth Trump made recently. But I am going to preface it with a lie he told in 2016. In 2016, he said, “I like to be good. I don’t like to have to ask for forgiveness. And I am good. I don’t do a lot of things that are bad. I try and do nothing that’s bad. I live a very different life than probably a lot of people would think. I have a very great relationship with God.” But more recently, in October, 2025, he admitted: “I mean, you know, I’m being a little cute. I don’t think there’s anything going to get me in heaven. Okay? I really don’t. I think I’m not maybe heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly on Air Force One. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make heaven.” https://au.thegospelcoalition.org/article/ten-years-of-trump-misunderstanding-the-gospel/

  13. Here’s another Trump lie: “I was never on Epstein’s Plane, or at his ‘stupid’ Island." We now know Trump flew on Epstein’s jet AT LEAST eight times including one occasion where it was just Trump, Epstein and a young woman on board.

  18. Sounds a bit toxic to me Herb. Nevertheless I agree with the sentiment... let me help you out with "defining that word." Agency in the context you're ridiculing refers to "the capacity of an individual or entity to act independently and make their own choices, particularly affecting outcomes in various contexts. In legal, philosophical, or social terms, agency emphasizes the role of individuals in shaping their destinies." Since agency denotes the capacity to act and the ability to make choices that affect individual circumstances, when access limits choices to "MAID or NOTHING BUT PAIN," those choices become stark to the point that they only qualify as choices in your mind. It simply reduces "the capacity to act" to the point of deciding which torturous outcome you find most palatable.

  20. Speaking of toxic posters.... gotta bring your anti-vax drivel into every conversation. Name one. Most if you ignoroids never took the Covid ahot yet insist you were forced to. And here's you're shit that someone pointing out the f*cking English dictionary definitions of euthanasia and assisted suicide are not the same is the one being toxic. We're ALL sick of your MAFA/antivaxxers total reliance on misinformation ans outright lies while claiming everyone else is the liar. The great dumbing down is well underway when someone arbitrarily redefines words and the dimwitted accept it as factual.

  21. Well that's not what you claimed. You claim that these decisions are being made without any external influence by people who are mentally healthy and capable of making these decisions rationally and that others can't influence them I can certainly understand why your backtracking now. At the end of the day while there is a perfectly valid reason for maid and it should be available, the fact is that it is open a little to abuse as things stand currently
