  1. I have some funds that are up over 24% this year. The economy is fine. What is happening is the restoration of jobs numbers that the Biden admin faked. It looks like Trump lost jobs because they restored the true numbers, which were far less than the fake numbers that Biden put forth. Gas is down Cost of eggs are down Cost of housing is down Cost of cars is down All the tariffs had zero effect on price to consumer and the government has billions more in tax revenue than anticipated Less than 1 year in, and the trash that Biden produced is getting cleaned up.

  2. So now you can call for the deaths of one group if your millenia old religious text says it's ok? "The Bloc Québécois is planning to introduce an amendment to a Liberal government bill" You didn't mention that. "The reality is I don't think people should be using the Bible, the Qur'an or the Torah to escape from committing a hate crime or claim that the hate — what would otherwise be a hate crime — is done in the name of a religious text," Miller told reporters on Parliament Hill. Pierre Poilievre posted on his X account that the change would "criminalize sections of the Bible, Qur'an, Torah and other sacred texts." Poilievre doesn't get the difference? It's not the texts. It's people using the texts to condone hate crimes and get away with it. I think Quebec goes too far on religious freedoms and dress codes, etc... but this seems like it might be a good loophole to close.

  3. The title of article is misleading. It's the Bloc that are introducing the amendment, not the Liberals. Besides, why should religious texts be allowed to peddle hate?

  4. 'Sorry, that's the way it is' Sounds like a good epitaph for someone defending your country. Of course politics plays a part, however that is no excuse for you to agree with it? That is what is disgraceful.

  5. The Liberals have already made holocaust denialism illegal. and someone can be jailed for it for up to 2 years People should have the right to hold any opinions they want as long as they don't threaten anyone with violence. Legally-enforced government-approved opinions are a danger to any free society and our fundamental human rights. How is any of this constitutional? If the Charter and the Supreme Court can't protect our basic human rights from such laws then what good are either of them worth?

  11. In 2016 intelligence community did a thorough and in-depth analysis and concluded that Donald Trump had an almost 0% chance of being a Russian agent or being recruited. Then President Obama ordered them to issue a report that said the exact opposite We know with certainty at this point in time that Donald Trump was not a Russian asset. Several dozen agents spent 3 years trying to find any evidence, initially it was believed that he wasn't and wouldn't be until the fake report was ordered, any suspicion of him was based on the fake steel dossier which we know was completely hoax. Flat earthers are more likely to be correct about their beliefs than you are about trump. The only thing that is driving you is your hatred. Rational people look at this and realize that there was nothing there. Yes, one of his people had dealings with the Russians but there's nothing unusual about that and there's no evidence of any kind of conspiracy or coordinated effort. You don't exactly have a great reputation on this site for being unbiased and factual. But you are hammering it into the ground right now with this other complete nonsense

  12. Dude you hate the guy and it is obvious. You use emotionally charged language, you make ridiculous prejudicial statements that very clearly show that you're extremely emotional about the guy. You do not critique him, and the reasons you give for him not being fit all boiled down to you hate him. Your lies are getting a little tired so, they make you look like a child

  13. Liberals look to criminalize faith, while allowing hate to fester | National Post Now i'm not particularly religious, but even I fully respect people's rights to their religion. this is intolerable. For now, no one in Canada can be found guilty of wilfully promoting hatred or antisemitism if they can show that, in good faith, they “expressed or attempted to establish by an argument an opinion on a religious subject or an opinion based on a belief in a religious text.” But should the Bloc get its way, that defence in the Criminal Code will be erased. So now you won't even be able to quote the bible if the bible passage is felt to be hate speech, which is so broadly defined that you can almost not aviod 'hate speech' if you have an opinion about damn near anything (that isn't pre authorized by the left). we are quickly becoming Britain

  19. No, we have an entire justice system that exists to give people due process. The government doesn't just get to decide anything more than to prioritize law enforcement efforts here to go after these criminal thugs. Either way, you are glossing over your dishonesty here, as this has nothing to do with freedom of speech. It is VIOLENCE and UNLAWFUL VERBAL THREATS that are being targeted.

  20. Yes it is pricy and that is in the rural areas....move into the city and your taxes will jump from 6 to high 8000.00 a year...There is no seniors or primary residence grant here unfortunately... Prices of home sky rockets when we had a huge influx of people coming from Ontario, selling their million dollar homes and working from home here in NB, Both my next door Neighbors purchases sight unseen for 400,000.... 5 years ago.... now selling his home for over 700,000...This is all across the Maritimes, even a mobile trailer cost more than 300K, and the government is cashing in as well with sky high property taxes.

  25. OMG, do a simple google search on Stephen Harper scandals. Or how he routinely shut down Parliament when things weren't going his way... Is that like the Notwithstanding clause that Alberta and Quebec are so fond of? Allows them to do whatever they want? Does this override provincial powers? On the face of it this doesn't look good. It's like other countries are doing, centralising more power in the federal leader's office. How it's implemented will be very telling. " Division 5 of Part 5 amends the Red Tape Reduction Act to, among other things, authorize ministers to grant temporary exemptions from the application of provisions of certain Acts of Parliament and instruments with the aim of facilitating the design, modification or administration of regulatory regimes to encourage innovation, competitiveness or economic growth. Conditions: (3)A minister may make an order under subsection (1) only if the minister is of the opinion that (a)the exemption is in the public interest; (b)the exemption would enable the testing of, among other things, a product, service, process, procedure or regulatory measure with the aim of facilitating the design, modification or administration of a regulatory regime to encourage innovation, competitiveness or economic growth; (c)the benefits associated with the exemption outweigh the risks; (d)sufficient resources exist, and appropriate measures will be taken, to maintain oversight of the testing, manage any risks associated with the exemption and protect public health and safety and the environment; and (e)a feasible implementation plan has been developed. Public Information 14(1)Subject to subsections (2) and (3), a minister must, as soon as feasible after making an order under section 12, make the order and the following information publicly accessible: (a)a description of the decision-making process and a summary of the reasons for the order; and (b)a description of the process for providing comments or information to, or requesting information from, the minister in relation to the order." There are some guard rails. How would the Conservatives get big projects done? Will they reverse this if they get into office?

  27. More like a Hail Marry. Same thing with the Luigi trial. They tried to get evidence thrown out because that is what you do, as a lawyer. 28. Yes of course. Some racist journalist. Nothing to see here. Anyone been to a Tim Horton's lately? Any IT folks in the house? What does your office look like now? Im so glad I retired this year. Caucasians are so scared of being call racist. Yet no other denomination even cares. Asians are racist...Indians and Pakis are racist...blacks in Africa are racist...and they are as a matter of course. Yet Caucasians cringe and will do any stupid virtue-signalling crap so nobody can use the deaded "R-word" to describe them. But not in Czech, Slovakia, Poland, or Hungary. That's the line between the abject stupidity of West Europe and Central Europe. Why are the Caucasians of the west so self deprecating? We should be proud. We should want to preserve our race. We've been wildly successful. Now...a bunch of Tweenkies want us to toss all that aside so nobody can call them racist. Meanwhile... The rest of the races on Earth...are laughing at us.

Here's an ACTUAL graph of the CPI. TRUMP ISN"T REVERSING ANYTHING YOU LYING SACK OF CRAP. Trump is still vastly lower than biden, you took the last 'dip' just before he took over and tried to PRETEND that was a 'trend'. You do this every single time you present numbers, then you run away crying when people show you the truth and come back with the same lies the next week. You're truly a pathetic sack of crap. Can't you be honest for FIVE minutes?

  37. $6000 per year?! That sure sounds pricey. My situation sounds very similar...rural...our own septic system & well ...garbage pickup...road maintenance... all for around $1700 per year with senior's and primary residence grant Its a $13 billion program divided by 26000 homes = $500K per home. Sounds like $400-500 per sq ft. Development fees/permits around here are about 1% of costs. $5000 is nothing to sneeze at I know but it really is peanuts compared to the final cost. The biggest complaint I hear around here is the cost of materials and the shortage of labour. The time it takes to get through the paperwork seems to be offset by the time it takes to find or move labourers from a finished home to the next one in line. $500K per home, plus cost of the land is why the housing crunch will be with us forever. The only practical long term solution is fewer people and less demand or 6 figure incomes become the standard/average living and building wage. Land reform to make land cheaper or even free in cases would help, along with easing single-residency rules to allow more sharing of existing infrastructure - reducing nimbyism IOW.

  40. He was hardly dragged out. He received 71% support of the party in a leadership review only a few months ago. He also built the party from about 2 MLAs to about 39 MLA in the last election. That was a monumental achievement. The fact is the BC Liberal Party folded and joined the BC Conservatives with John Rustad as BC Conservative leader. That should never be forgotten. The reason why there may be some division in the party is obvious. Most of them were BC Liberals and they became BC Conservatives and that almost beat the NDP. They were only a few seats short of winning. A lot of those former Liberals likely still hold a lot of the former LIberal party beliefs. That's likely the problem. Several were kicked out because of their behavior. Rustad had to deal with a myriad of diverse opinions and many members don't understand they can't have things their own way. They are not out of the woods yet. They will have to find a way to be united even if a lot of them have different views than the others. If they don't, BC will be stuck with NDP rule which is destroying the province. John Rustad could have stuck in there because the vote by caucus to remove him was not how party leaders are chosen or removed. However, he is correct in leaving and removing himself from a "civil war" in the caucus. It is not worth fighting over. He never signed up for that kind of thing. He did his best. Everything I heard him say is right on. He had many years as an MLA and did great in bringing the BC Conservatives from nothing to a party that could win the next election. He is going to retire after the next election and hopefully enjoy life with his family.

  41. 1789 Capital is a venture capital firm founded by pro-Trump donors that brought Trump Jr. in as a partner last year. Since Trump’s inauguration, 1789’s portfolio companies have won contracts from the Trump administration totalling more than $735 million. If you can’t see the conflict of interest, then you are not looking. Another company is Unusual Machines, who were awarded a contract from the US army to manufacture 3,500 drones and there’s a plan to order an additional 20,000 components from the Trump Jr- backed firm next year. Unusual Machines brought Trump Jr. on as an adviser just weeks after the 2024 election, even though he had no notable experience with drones or military contracting. https://truthout.org/articles/trump-jr-backed-company-receives-620-million-pentagon-loan/ When self-dealing becomes the criterion and favoured method of operation, the government is corrupted.

  42. Looks like Canadian experts are starting to question the amount of Canadian jobs that will be part of the Gripen deal....10000 is very high, they predict just over 6000....and yet F-35 already has 5000 Canadian jobs here and now... Critics question Saab's offer to bring 10,000 aerospace jobs to Canada I found this gem as well....How many Grippen E have been made todate... This aircraft has not even been put into full scale production yet....It is just starting its journey to work out all the bugs....Why would a country agree to have production set up in Canada and then give Canada it's only only remaining foreign contract, when it has already set up a production facility in Sweden... it does not make business sense.
