  2. That's pretty damn heartbreaking. Some guy gets out on liberal bail and while he's on bail he kills your aunt that you love. So you do the right thing and move to have the laws changed and work really hard politically giving up your whole life for a campaign to try and bring about change. And the guy you help get elected spits in your face without so much as an I'm sorry. This guy is a complete and utter scumbag. This wasn't some minor volunteer, he had to know her story. He just doesn't care.

  4. Just The News J6 Shocker: FBI informants warned of armed violence, Antifa presence before riot, lawmaker reveals ********* Loudermilk made it known that the FBI had a lot of intelligence that indicated violence would have been worse on J6. Some of the intelligence indicated armed violence. Some indicated ANTIFA would be embedded in the crowd. All of it is intelligence that came from informants. Not all of it was accurate. But it does show that DC and the Capitol police should have accepted Trump's informal offer of NG troops.

  8. Anything's possible. Right now and since the day of the election in fact the liberals are talking to every single MP that will sit down with them for more than 3 seconds and offering them the sun moon and stars to switch sides. All the parties and peas have noted that this is the case and the liberals are working as hard as they can to buy those extra couple of votes. But the fact is a bear majority can fall as well for several reasons. A number of MPS are quitting next year from the liberals as cardi pushes out some of the Trudeau loyalists and while it's likely those seats will go to the liberals it certainly not guaranteed. People get sick people have to step down for other reasons by elections happen. So you never know Remember that harper went through this too. Harper thought he was going to bring the government down in Belinda stronich across the floor and gave the liberals the extra vote they needed to survive Honestly I don't believe this government is going to last four or five years. I believe we will be back to the polls within 2 years of the last election. Or at least I believe that's the most likely circumstance. But it's Canadian politics and you never know Here's one thing I can tell you, if there are any more defections coming they will most likely happen early January. If he makes it through his leadership review and there are no further defections that there are probably not going to be any If there are more to come they're going to happen early January when they will do poilievre the most harm in his leadership review. If the liberals were to steal two more votes from the CPC and give themselves even a week in majority it's almost guaranteed that Poilievre would lose the leadership, and then we spend a year and a half going through a leadership race and giving the new leader time to get ready which means the government basically gets two for years where they don't even have to think about it

  10. Not voted out. Kings and other nobles had power as long as they could hold on to it. But more importantly it isn't really about how much power the leader has. That ebbs and flows in democracies. The really important point is that under a king, you're not a citizen but a subject of the king. That is controlled by having a costitutional monarchy. Ours is an odd mixture- the King is had of state but we passed the citizenship act in 1977 to make us citizens. But monarchy - antithetical to Americans since 1776 at least.

  15. Yeah, as Professor Jeffrey Sachs says, Nuland is quite representative of the deep state. She started with Bush Jr. and went all the way up to the Biden Administration, wrecking the U.S. relationship with Russia during the entire trajectory. Here's the transcript of the start of an almost hour long interview with him and Professor John Mearsheimer: ** University of Chicago professor John Mearsheimer and Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs discuss why Republican Dick Cheney feels ideologically comfortable endorsing Democrat Kamala Harris during a conversation at the "All-In Summit" with David Sacks and the other hosts of the "All-In" podcast: ** Full transcript, along with the video: https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2024/09/16/sachs__mearsheimer_there_is_basically_one_deep_state_party_of_cheney_harris_biden_victoria_nuland.html

  16. Absolutely nobody in the professional world seems to like this budget. My guess is carney had a lot of ideas as to where he wanted to go and a lot of his people who are still ex-trudeau Didn't like it and what we're seeing is a budget by committee that just didn't work out well. Why in the hell they decided to take the taxes off of luxury yachts and personal aircraft utterly flabbergasts me. Honestly, that was the big priority to make life more affordable? And during a time of housing crisis why did he take the tax off of vacant homes? A lot of the other policies start off as good ideas but the implementation is horrible. Being able to immediately depreciate Capital expenses is great but it doesn't cause investment in new business or expansion given the regulatory environment which the big companies have already said is a deal killer. So some domestic businesses are going to be able to write off their new computers but they would have bought those anyway. And he's starting up about four or five new bureaucracies above and beyond the ones he's already in announced. Special organizations with their own budgets to deal with everything from AI to charity housing of which they already had four. All of those cost money and all of them will be wasteful And anything in the budget that might actually work won't work for another 3 years or so. That's when you might start seeing some of the benefits maybe if they materialize, but in the meantime people will see all this money going out the door and won't see a single benefit from it. It is a simply staggering amount of money with no path to return to balanced budgets ever. He claims operating will begin to slowly reduce to still over what should I was spending but that's just smoking mirrors. This is just horrible. There's just not much to say. All we can hope is that Canadians will notice that they're getting no benefits and that inflation is still going up thanks to this kind of budget and get sick of carney before any severe damage is done

  20. That's what the government agency told you to spread — disinformation. AI isn't programmed, it uses information recognized as true, as known by science. You're a paid liar, and I doubt you're even being paid right now with the shutdown — you're just having fun lying for the sake of it

  21. Well, it is programmed with a thought process and it is trained with data that is presented to it. AI is still a computer. Garbage in, garbage out. What ever crap it was trained with is what it is going to out out. It cannot recognize flawed data. It does not differentiate from honesty and lies. Just because you found some AI that repeats the lies you want to believe, does not mean the lies are true.

  22. It's more a state of awareness really and it isn't rare at all. Its an awareness that helped sink Poilievre's election chances. And with 3 years still to go Trump's reign of craziness upheld by a sycophantic Congress will put an aversion for the right wing into North Americans especially, and humanity in general, that will persist for decades. As people have known for centuries, the path to enlightenment is always painful.

  24. Every nation was built on stolen land, in one shape or another....What is different is some how Canada thinks it should give back those lands, because it makes leftists fell better about themselves...most of which did not have ancestors here at the time who did not take part in these historical wrongs....my point is how far back in history do we have to go back to correct all of this, and if we go back far enough do we make indigenous people also give back territory they conquered from other tribes...

  25. Really didn't. Everyone says it was a failure of a law and won't resolve the issue. In fact they voted against a decent bail reform law when the conservatives put it forward And again, typical liberal." How dare the little people complain just because I walked all over them! No your place peons!" That's the liberals for you

  26. And there it is. In the past immigrants came here looking to be a part of what we had. Not force us to be a part of what they were fleeing. Sure they would share some of their cultural elements so that was great but they didn't attack our own values that have made our country great in the process. Now everyone we let in seems to want to protest violently, bring their petty little squabbles and wars to our shores, and demand we follow their law. And I really don't care what color their skin is I'm not interested in that.

  31. Agreed...this is the historical context. Since the Revolution, American presidents have slowly gained more and more unchecked power (Executive Branch), if only because of the huge scope of the job and the reluctance of Congress to reign things in. Congress tends to be more reactive while real world domestic and foreign policy events require power immediacy in many instances.

  35. The problem I have is that all of this stuff is supposed to generate significant economic activity, but not for three or four years. Which means they get to spend the next three or four years saying well our plan hasn't kicked in yet give it time, you've waited this long don't quit now just before it pays off. And then carney retires in 5 years as he turns 65 then goes on to make more money than god sitting on boards of directors doing nothing and the next guy takes over and says well of course you can compare me to that carney liar, I just got here

  36. Actually, it's borrowed money. And it's younger people who will endure a lifetime in a Canada burdened by massive debt who will suffer. For seniors, meh, no big deal. They'll be gone before the bill comes due.

  37. This isn't actually all that rare of a sentiment. I've heard it repeated many times: "maybe it's for the best that carney is the one forced to start to clean up the mess, he can take all the crap for the hell people will go through then we can come back when people are angry at him and take over when things are getting better'. And in fact that's what the libs have done to us many times in the past, made a mess, left it to us to clean up, then swooped back in when we get the ship righted and make a mess again. It's not entirely ridiculous. But the problem with that is that it only really works if carney is competent and does the right things. His solutions are not the right things. He's got the right ideas but his implementation is wrong, and will not achieve what we want. So unfortunately we're just going to get a bigger mess.

  38. Yeah. Say what you like about the guy, nobody can dispute that Justin was transformative It just wasn't the kind of transformation we wanted to see. The real blow in my books is how people treat each other. There is a shocking reduction in patients that people have for each other. He played a huge role in teaching people to see those who disagree as enemies who must be crushed, rather than neighbours who you need to work stuff out with.

  39. That of course includes telling Bible believers they are delusional and it is nonsense when you yourself have no rational answer to how creation came to be and how you are a sinner and what the solution is. When you find the answer apart from the God of the Bible, let us know.

  40. That is an empty and meaningless claim. It explains absolutely nothing. The truth is the universe and life is so complex and intricate it could never have happened without a Creator-Designer we call God. There is absolutely nothing to show how it happened apart from God. The very first verse in the King James Bible gives the answer. "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Genesis 1:1 KJB The Bible even says the invisible things of God are clearly seen in the creation and are understood by the things that are made. That is God's eternal power and Godhead. So everyone is without excuse for not knowing that. In other words, all you have to do is look around at the creation and you should know God exists and created it. The physical evidence of what is stated in the Bible is right before our eyes. "19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:" Romans 1:19, 20 KJB Accept it by faith.

You're so triggered and upset that you run off to your echo chamber and try and dig up something that makes you feel better and then post it in its entirety without any commentary of your own in a spastic effort to make yourself feel better about your own bad choices And you wonder why people think you're a 15 year old. Honestly.

  44. Isn't it amazing how God created the universe and everything in it; yet so many simply cannot see it? Some say prove it, show me the science. That is where they make a deadly mistake. God doesn't need to prove anything to anyone. He created everything and everyone and doesn't need to bow to anyone. It's that simple. That's why the Bible says things like " 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. " 1 Corinthians 1:18-21 KJB God requires simple faith. Much of the Holy Scriptures were written by common people, not by the learned and not by princes and kings. God chose the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. God looks at simple faith, not the world's most polished and most brilliant minds who claim to have all the answers. Simple faith.
