Holy shit. You clowns don't even care if a story is even remotely true before you kick off the circle jerk. Hell, there's not even a story to react to, and Mr. Velcro Shoes is ready to ride his rascal scooter to war. It's like when one monkey starts howling and shaking the cage and then all the rest join in. But none of them even know what they're howling about. Get off the internet. It's not safe for you lot.2 points

They aren't voting to uphold the Constitution because the power for this case rests with the Congress. Trump could refuse to abide by the court order and the only remedy would be impeachment. The Courts are being very naziesque by continuing to overstep on article ii powers of the presidency and should be put in their place. The judges are probably in on the organized crime. I know in Canada many are out there picking up hookers on a nightly basis. Truly vile people1 point

He does get to keep the plane because he alone gets to decide what to do with it when he leaves office. The thing will never be ready for use as AF! during this term and will cost even more to covert than the new aircraft. It isn't the CBC saying that, it's every credible source that knows security and what goes into an actual AF1. There are enough B747-8's in storage that they don't need one from Qatar if they wanted to convert an existing aircraft. Trump's and his kid's businesses are profiting mightily from Trumps office and all you guys can do is babble about Hunter Biden's laptop. You really are a sad bunch of puppies.1 point

Some more information has come out; Carney dropped most American tariffs day after Trump meeting | Toronto Sun He did it THE DAY AFTER he met with trump. He met with trump, the NEXT DAY almost all american tariffs came off, and the us ones remained on us. That's mr 'elbows up'1 point

The SCOTUS is just ruling on whether or not a federal judge that is assigned a region of the country has the right to issue a national injunction. It seems to me, that the most appropriate source of a nation wide injunction would come from the SCOTUS. Judge shopping by choosing regions with friendly judges all the way up to the federal level to get a nation wide injunction is an end around play. Rather than relying on the merits of the case, they relied on the loyalty of the the left. If the SCOTUS is reasonable, they will limit nationwide injunctions to SCOTUS. As for the 14th amendment and birthright citizenship, there is no birthright citizenship for visitors. Here is the relevant text of the 14th: The first sentence is what the EO that POTUS signed, is all about. In it's original intent, people that were born here and subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, would become citizens. The word "and' is vitally important. It delineates that just being born with in the boundaries of the United States is not a qualification. One must be born AND "subject to the jurisdiction" of the Untied States. "Subject to the jurisdiction of the United States" is where those that suppo rt birthrights for everyone have tried to change the meaning of the Amendment. "Subject to the jurisdiction" has been redefined to mean anyone that must follow our laws. Their belief is that jurisdiction has to do with legal matters. That isn't true. Jurisdiction means: "2a: the authority of a sovereign power to govern or legislate." The federal government and the state have no authority to govern or legislate people that do not live here. While they are here, they have to obey our laws. That is why they call it the "law of the land" and not the "law of the people". To finish defining the phrase, Subject (in this context) means: (2): one who lives in the territory of, enjoys the protection of, and owes allegiance to a sovereign power or state. A foreign national, that has no right to live in the United States, would not fit into this definition. We can look to two examples in history (at the time) that add context: Indians and Mexicans in Texas. Indians that lived in tribes and did not consider themselves part of the United States, did not enjoy birthright citizenship. The same was true for Mexicans. They were given a choice when Texas joined the United States. They could leave or they could stay and become citizens. They were not, automatically, given citizenship for being born. The second half of the citizenship clauses establishes that the United States determines who is a citizen and who is not. "Birthright" is specifically listed as a privilege and not a right. This was intended to prevent slave states from attempting to remove citizenship via legislation. In short, the 14th does not give all persons born within our borders citizenship. It does give all persons born to citizens and legal residents ( as defined by the immigration statutes).1 point

LOLOLOL i love that you used an example that proved yourself wrong previously As you point out the AI was correct - for a 95 percent confidence, that is the constant as i mentioned in a previous thread. But the confidence number itself is a variable and THAT IS WHAT"S IN THE FORMULA LOLOLOL WE were looking at a poll with a 97 percent confidence as i recall? So you used the constant associated with the wrong variable in the equasion LOLOL But i appreciate you posting your own stupidity for the world to see You suck at math. So the problem there wasn't the AI, the problem there was your compression. The AI was correct and produced an accurate statement but YOU assumed that the 95 percent was a constant for all polls instead of a variable for every poll which it is. When you read it again, that becomes quite clear. Now i can take one look at what you wrote and one look at the AI and see where the problem is. But for SOME reason you can't find ANY problems with THREE BOOKS worth of commentary, other than one non consequential error in one of them. So there you go. All you've proven with this is that ai is smarter than you, not that it's incapable of producing works that are valid.1 point

you mean how he's been signing things and then holding them up to show his signature just like trump does? Yeah, what the hell is up with that? And you can bet that if a conservative did it they would be all over him about how he's just like trump. I'm getting the sense that the shine might come off of carney a lot faster than anyone thought. At this rate if the NDP can get their act together carney's first budget might very well wind up in his government falling when it finally comes out next year1 point

Someone should tell him he's the one looking like trump...and his staff should have filled him in on how things work in parliament, we don't have presidential orders, we have a parliament that we pass things that require expenditures...1 point

Stepdaughter just got her first house and I saw it ofr the first time yesterday. It was of what we referred to as late 1950s, early 60s "Jetsons" architecture, like you see on old Twilight Zone reruns. Carried on about all the 'improvements' they 'needed' to do. Damn thing's backyard joins a huge park with water park stuff, picnic area and summer Farmers markets. One block to the main intersection, 2 blocks from school and downtown shopping area. Fire Hall and Cop shop four doors away. $350K, but the millenials aren't happy. The kitchen counter isn't their style, the huge new smart fridge is too big, the basement laminate isn't the right colour. The lawn isn't 100% level. It even has drinking fountains installed above the outdoor taps front and back... What happened to buy the damn thing and fix it up later as you can afford it?1 point

^FOS AGAIN. Every court has ruled that infants born to visitors are citizens because that's what the 14th CLEARLY SAYS. The ONLY ones who are not, are those born to parents which are not subject to the jurisdiction of the US government. And that is ONLY foreign diplomats and invading armies in service to a foreign government.1 point

Was that a Drum major, you do make a lot of unwanted noise. As with any commodity, demand has a direct influence on price. More people than available homes drives up the cost. No math needed.1 point

In the asleep world, one needs to debate if the words written in the Constitution right there in front of your own eyes are really there. Because some fascist loudmouth said otherwise. In the woke world that would take anyone 3/10s of a second.1 point

No that would be YOU pretending you KNOW what ambiguous representations meant just because YOU want to tar someone with the worst possible interpretation. The FACT is YOU DON'T KNOW what was meant nor by whom.-1 points

So now it's official, Carney lied about everything that he talked about. This decision was made on April 16th, before even the French-language debate. He already knew that he had abandoned "elbows up" before both of the debates. Which begs the question: "Did Trump know that the counter-tariffs were being dropped, but just kept his Carney's secret to help him get elected?" (of course Trump knew, he's the one who gave Carney the order to remove the tariffs) Lefties: YOU GOT PLAYED LIKE STUPID LITTLE VIOLINS BY TRUMP!!! 😂How does it feel to know that you got completely hoodwinked by the guy that you've been calling an 1d10t for the past 10 years 🤣-1 points

we've got a thread going on this already. but yea. Trump whistled the tune, the left fell for it and lined up like good little mice and rats to do precisely what he wanted and carney dropped our tariffs.-1 points

https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/politics/lilley-carney-dropped-most-tariffs-the-day-after-meeting-trump/ar-AA1EVzpu LILLEY: Carney dropped most tariffs the day after meeting Trump The worthless little loser was summoned to DC, took his spanking on live TV, and came running back home to drop his counter-tariffs like a good little boy. He dropped those tariffs before the election. Didn't tell anyone. "Elbows up!!!" F'n dummies that voted for him should have to go feed the homeless every day until the next election.-1 points
