Thank you for being civil, CrackWhore. I know how frustrating it is for you when people are non-compliant.2 points

LOL - it's too early in the day for me to need to explain math to you That would apply to something 18 months ago, not something in the future and you don't really SOUND like you're having a blast but if you're happy that's great I'm fine with a cookoo clock Happy, stable peaceful lives where people can love and grow and enjoy their families and their time together and activities of choice are rare and wonderful things. That's what we should have. That's what the libs have taken from people. 18 months? Even if it were tomorrow it wouldn't be soon enough. Michelangelo can go eff himself.2 points

there are ballots - they aren't cast but they're still ballots. the ballot is the paper you're going to use to vote. When you ask for the gov't to send you something so you can mail it back because you can't vote in person you receive a .... what? A mail in what? Ohhhh that's right. The ballot is just the card you vote with, and they definitely exist before they are cast. You're an !diot who doesnt' even understand how his own election works. Canadians know more than you2 points

There are NO BALLOTS until they are cast. And the voters that RepubliCONS are trying to disqualify are in most cases QUALIFIED UNDER THE LAW, because RepubliCONS are FRAUDULENTLY trying to use a law which does not conform to Federal law. Thanks for proving you don't know what you're talking about.2 points

It's better to get rid of fake ballots before the election, rather than after, right, stupid? Don't worry, you guys still have your truck ballots.2 points

Did you want me to get you some crayons? Look - some time between when you were a child and when you grew up and assumed the responsibilities of an adult you should have learned that you and your motivations will be judged based on what you do/say. It is like that for everyone and that is why responsible adults are very careful to make sure their words and actions match what they think and intend. I'm sorry that was not made clear to you. Your intent is clear for all to see. And you are judged on that. If your actions are sending a different message than your intent then change your actions. It's that simple, and i shoudln't have to be explaining this to an adult. And yet you can't even raise an argument against it. See why people think you're not honest? I'm not infuriated. Your behavior is more or less what i expected getting into the conversation and it's been pretty civil i think. I think if you're infuriated it's because you got called out for something and you can't 'trick' your way out of or around it. There's no arrogance. There's no lack of concepts. Your actions and words speak for you as a person and they are loud and clear. I get that this causes you distress but that is something for you to resolve - your action where i noted are dishonest and if you do not want to be percieved as being dishonest then you need to change those kinds of actions. Awww -don't run away mad It's pretty simple. You do not like having your bad behaviour rubbed in your face (by two people this time). And fair enough. But the solution is not to blame the people holding up the mirror, the solution is to change your behaviour. I'm sure you're old enough to know honest behaviour and discussion from cheap tricks - try to stick with the honest stufff and maybe we can have some good talks now and then.1 point

well it used to be East Prussia and the city of Konigsberg, in the German Empire then the Soviets annexed it at the end of the Second World War, changing it to Kaliningrad then when the Soviet Union collapsed, it became isolated by Latvia & Lithuania becoming independent again1 point

LOL - what do you mean? i said we should have sympathy for his mental conditions, don't you think being empathetic to the mentally ill is civil? Hey - you are a major offender in the whole insults game and were since i got here. And that's the thing about the left. You'll walk up and slap someone no problem, but if they slap back you pretend you're the victim and how could someone be so violent 'snif'. Your problem is your hypocrisy is a match for you stupidity and at any moment one or the other is getting you in trouble.1 point
-
Now now - as we know the research shows that the left wing has more mental health issues. It's not @Black Dog 's fault if he's struggling with self esteem issues (toruettes?). And its CERTAINLY not his fault if his mom drank while pregnant, you need to show a little sympathy. There's bound to be some anger issues there.1 point
-
LOL - more like if you want to be exposed AS a bunch of left wing freaks with undiagnosed but severe mental illnesses Although i'm not sure about the undiagnosed part. I'm pretty sure at some point a professional must have told you the voices in your head are not your friends The problem with this place for lefties is that you actually have to think. You're so used to your echochambers that encourage bad thinking if it's "correct" and when you come somewhere that it's challenged you're not skilled enough to actually defend an idea. You've been getting your lunch eaten by all kinds of posters for that very reason. You talk and then you think - and by then you've said something stupid or you're forced to backtrack to try to make your position make some sort of sense. But that's not our fault - that just means you've got to improve your skills.1 point

They are trying to take away people's right to vote, not ballots. The US seems to be transitioning from a flawed democracy to a failed democracy.1 point

You hang out here because this place is a far right echo chamber. One that allows you to be as rude and insulting as you wish. You can't survive in regulated forums because you cannot remain civil.1 point

What we know, scumbags at NYT, is that the killer was a criminal invader from Venezuela. https://www.nytimes.com/article/uga-nursing-student-death.html This clip from Benny Johnson sums up the outrage of Georgia locals and also shows how low democrats will stoop to burn Trump to the ground while keeping illegal immigration alive and well.1 point

For what it's worth, when I and some friends (including 2 ex-military) were discussing what to be done to increase recruitment base housing was one of the main agreement points. Fix it up and build more. It would not only allow people to not worry about affording and finding housing wherever they were transferred but would build esprit de corps/comradery among the men, which would be a huge attraction to today's younger generation who, the polls and papers tell us, have few friends and suffer from loneliness.1 point

What do you mean it's not working? If you mean the progressives in academia and media have succeeded in getting it accepted by corporations and government, you're correct. Trans has become the holy grail for progressives and much of the Left. ANY disagreement on what trans activists want risks doxxing, accusations of hating 'lgbt people' and demands that you be fired or your company boycotted. But if you mean accepted by ordinary people, no. Ordinary people are willing to treat trans people with respect but there are too many elements of what trans activists want that people aren't willing to go along with. Including accepting sex as a completely cultural assumption that can change back and forth any day you want it to. The fact 85% told that poll I posted in the other thread they did not agree that children should be taught that sex was not biological should testify to that. The majority in that poll also don't believe trans women should be in women sports and don't believe in the new pronouns. The reason people aren't protesting this as much is they're just not paying attention. In that same pole they spoke of opinion on that teacher who called themselves Kayla Lemieux, the one with the giant fake breasts. Opinions on whether they should be allowed to teach were about evenly split for one group. When they tested the other group alongside a picture it broke 75-11 for no. Somehow, most hadn't even seen anything about that story. I think we get the idea on political groups like this that everyone is as informed as we are of ongoing issues, and it's just not the case.1 point

Here's the thing about progressives. They have absolutely nothing but empathy and sympathy for the hardcore drug addicts in the street, the methheads and heroin users with fifty or sixty arrests for thefts, vandalism and violence. But let one guy who isn't even really conservative get hooked on antidepressants because his wife was diagnosed with terminal cancer and it's open season to ridicule him forever after. Even when he finally gets off them.1 point

Yes, the POLICY of discouraging, if not preventing, insurrections by denying the possibility of the prior perpetrators ever holding office again makes sense. And it could have kept Hitler from being re-elected and destroying democracy in Germany, IF the Germans had been smart enough to implement such a law and strong enough to enforce it. It is beyond me to understand how voters could be dense enough to re-elect a man who has NO RESPECT for election integrity, because they would have to prefer dictatorship to democracy. AKA Party POWER OVER ALL ELSE. Or stupid enough to believe Trump's blatant self-serving LIES. I will excuse the Canadians here for their IGNORANCE of US laws which Trump planned to use as a FIG LEAF to overturn the election. Makes it MUCH EASIER for YOU to DENY what was actually ATTEMPTED.1 point

Syllogistic Fallacy: Anything i don't like is a logical fallacy. I don't like the term 'woke'. Therefore it must be a logical fallacy. It's pretty easy to do that, but it's neither accurate or honest. It's 'woke' because it is an extreme positon that does not actually produce results and those who wish to promote it are doing so from ideological rather than practical considerations when it's done without any effort to get people off the drugs. Again - not complicated.1 point

The Democrats are still going to do anything they can to keep Trump off the ballot. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/politics/democrats-announce-bill-to-kick-trump-off-the-ballot/ss-BB1jk2Z4#image=2 It doesn't matter to them how obvious it is that this is entirely politically motivated, they'll do it.1 point

It would be ironically fitting if Trump managed to win POTUS, while losing BOTH HOUSES of Congress cause he spent all the Party money on legal fees. One wonders if Lara Trump knows ANYTHING about US politics. LMAO1 point

nor does it ban people for having 'wrongthink' ideas like most left wing sites. That generally doesn't happen if the disucssion is honest to begin with. We both know yours isn't. in fact it's the only environment it can. And lots do. there's plenty of interesting debates here. But if people can't be called out for bullshit or lying then they tend to bullshit and lie. Sorry but you know as well as i do that most of what you bring here is pure mush. Bring something intelligent, talk about it intelligently and you'll get to get less insults and more discussion and that's how the world works. what you're lamenting is the lack of right to be dishonest without consequence. And yes - that would mean this is not the right site for you .1 point
-
Not exactly. They said that the state has no right to rule on a federal crime. If the feds say it was insurrection as considered by that provision then the state can take the appropriate action but the state cannot reach that conclusion on it's own. Which is basically what everyone sane here and elsewhere said. There needs to be a ruling by a competent authority that insurrection took place, you can't just make that up like the state did,1 point

Totally. It's like China back at the start of the XXth Century, a land divided by multiple warlords, raping, looting, killing as much as possible. Rwanda also had this kind of anarchy back in the 1990s. They need a total dictatorship, and for generations. Bukele showed us the way. China showed us the way too. Same thing with Rwanda. Dictatorship isn't a choice; it's a necessity for countries afflicted by this much crime and chaos. I wholeheartedly wish Haiti to find a strongman.1 point

Drone-striking a family and pretending they were terrorists was scandalous imo. Lying about his involvement in Hunter's business dealings in China was a scandal. He didn't stop lying about the Biden's business with the Chinese gov't when he was in office. Leaving behind $100B in weapons and attack helicopters and armoured vehicles and ammo and ordnance was a scandal, even if it was just a scandal of his own incompetence. Eventually the Americans will fight another war against their own military hardware, or watch their hardware used to commit another genocide just like islamic state did with Obama's weapons. Isn't it weird that between Obama and Biden they've gifted islamic state and the Taliban/AL Qaeda $150B in military hardware? What's the deal? As if the war in Afghanistan wasn't bad enough, the talis just came out of it with more weapons than they ever had before. Opening the border from Mexico and then trying to push $80B through congress to fix it was a scandal. In general Biden's presidency has been a scam against the American people. It's been a crisis of mismanagement and stupidity. There are two wars going on right now because of Biden.1 point

this is where things get interesting if the Russians deploy the Belgorod for seabed warfare because that can be done entirely covert and even if NATO is up in the saddle on the Belgorod with SSN's it would be World War Three on the spot soon as the torpedoes left their tubes and frankly, NATO might not have the resolve to do it thus with the nuclear submarine cruisers beneath the high seas is where Russia could find a grey zone in which to wreak havoc, worldwide1 point

https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/el-salvador-president-bukele-poised-another-landslide-voters-head-polls-2024-02-04/ SAN SALVADOR, Feb 4 (Reuters) - President Nayib Bukele on Sunday secured a thumping victory in El Salvador's elections after voters cast aside concerns about erosion of democracy to reward him for a fierce gang crackdown that transformed security in the Central American country. Provisional results on Monday morning show Bukele winning 83% support with just over 70% of the ballots counted. Bukele declared himself the winner before official results were announced, claiming to have attained more than 85% of the vote. ---- Mass incarceration and its effects on crime made Bukele one of the most popular politician of our era.1 point

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Haiti has once again made the news. 4000 inmates were freed by an armed militia. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-68462851 The fact that criminals roam free in Haiti means that Haiti is extremely unsafe. Gangs lead the country, and normal life is simply impossible. Crime creates poverty, it's not the other way around. If Haiti wants to get out of its hole, it has to do what Bukele did in El Salvador.0 points
