  1. In truth, no-one is absolutely perfect. Many people have cheated on tests in school. We’ve all done something we aren’t proud of. But Santos is a whole different ballgame. He said he graduated from a school he never even attended. Turns out he hasn’t gone to college at all, and he lied about ALL of his jobs, his evictions, his criminal charges, and his family history. Worst of all, he went from earning $50,000 per year to $2 million, with no explanation. He was able to lend his campaign $700,000. THAT, right there, is a major red flag, and it’s highly likely that he’s committed or been involved with crime.

  2. Maybe you could enlighten the federal ethics commissioner. For some reason he seems to lack your understanding of standing offers and how the system works.

  3. You don't resolve conflict of interest by saying "Whoops. Sorry I got caught. I'll try to be more careful next time."

  5. Nice...video i have to ask you do you think Canada is living up to everything to the message this video suggests...most Canadians have no clue on just how unprepared we are for any conflict, proof of that was Afghanistan, we were fighting an insurgency and were pushed to the very limits...in manpower, in equipment, in supplies...in everything... I find it frustrated why so many Canadians think our military is on par for a G-7 nation, when i can give you countless 3 rd world countries that are more prepared and have a better equipment, better manned, better military over all than Canada does. I"M not taking anything away for our soldiers they are warriors, it is the Government and it's Citizens that have taken apart this institution piece by piece, and they are proud of that.. Canada is not NATO, but rather a problem child for NATO. we are that yappy little dog that hides behind the US and barks and barks , a pees on the carpet when someone else talks back to it. NATO is but a shadow of what it used to be, and not many members want to live up to those standards they signed on to. All Canadians should do some research on what capability's we have and don't have. it's not like we are hiding them all that info, shit we present them like some it was a golden goose or something. we should not be celebrating propaganda like this but forcing our government to atleast treat the life's of it's soldiers with some respect by buying it modern equipment.

  8. They won't look. Too many people who believe there are NO adverse events from the jabs. I even saw that exact comment here from Queen Mandy - NO adverse events from the jabs. And NO ONE fact-checked that person. Not even one argument. You can't find what you refuse to look for. Take it from my family's experience - you get injured or disabled or die from these jabs - you are 100% ON. YOUR. OWN. There is no help or acknowledgment from ANYBODY that buys into the lies and conspiracy theories.

  9. Why??? I mean, thank you for caring, but why would you think you should feel bad for me. To the best of my knowledge, I am the luckiest man in the world. I am happily married a woman who is far smarter than me, two wonderful adult children whose generosity to others is commendable, I have shelter, food, a cabin on a lake in BC that I share with my brother, thanks to my parents, and I have lived 75 years without serious illness or injury and in the best country in the world. I also have access to the best ski hills in the world, and since skiing is the ultimate purpose in life, I do not see how there is any way to make me happier.

  10. Why am I not surprised that a rabid Liberal supporter wouldn't even understand what conflict of interest is. Unless you're extreme left, Trudeau is most definitely a lefty.

  11. Where she is an unapologetic hack. Trudeau could rape babies on live TV and she'd be up there blithely waving it away as Trudeau Derangement Syndrome. She would fit seamlessly into the ranks of Republican apologists on FOX news. People like this wouldn't have ever made it to television back in the day.

  13. Russia is still a stench in the nostrils of the world. Still led by corrupt, rapacious, soulless leaders, still populated by easily herded peasants. NATO is needed to defend the West from such dangers.

  18. If he had covid he got it there, most likely from a staff member who was walking around, because no one else had close enough access to him to infect him - other people weren't allowed to come see him....

  19. Not a bizarre fantasy at all, it's a distinct possibility, that's according to the surgeon too. You've admitted yourself you have an undying hatred for the left. There's no reason to believe this isn't the premiere think motivating and underlying anything you think or say. You're like a profoundly deeply religious person whose beliefs have you instead of the other way around. You were probably no different when you were a 9/11 Truther. Your hate turned you into a certifiable loon long before COVID, which was just one more thing.

  21. It's the epitome of ignorance to inject an experimental substance into your body multiple times without bothering to look at the stats to see if it's working. It's disgusting to advocate for others to be forced to inject said substance and then just ignore al evidence of whether it's working or not. Your unprecedented level of ignorance and your willingness to force other people to take risks with their health, for your own sake, is astounding.

  22. This is a chicken shit petty cash squabble, a PP nothingburger to borrow a phrase from you righties. A conflict of interest is when YOU benefit from a decision, not when you know the person that wins a bid. About as scandalous as the Mayor's cousin getting the snowplowing contract but not even as valuable. And yes, unless you are extreme right, Trudeau is not a lefty.

  24. Well my wife's surgeon said she tested negative on admission to the hospital where she was later infected while recovering from surgery. I sure as hell hope you're not a doctor. Yup. I think they're rather pointless now but COVID measures certainly prevented a bad situation from getting worse. Something along the lines of force were required in the face of such stubbornly stupid resistance from you people. Liar.

  25. Everyone in Canada has been exposed to covid now, because it has such a long incubating period, it's infectious for so long, and it's infectious while people have little or no symptoms. Anyone who says that they know where they got covid is full of shit. It's too infectious, the incubation period is so long, and infected people are too hard to spot. You could get the virus on Monday and not be sick two Mondays later: Symptoms...14 days, and that's from our trustworthy gov. So was it worth shutting the country down? Forcing young people to "vax or lose their jobs"? 86% of covid deaths are among the multi-vaxed, so chances are she got it from one of the 85% of Candians who are vaxed. According to Hodad, vaxed people suffer even more covid infections than the unvaxed in order to arrive at the same number of deaths, so by his logic the vaxed account for more than 86% of infections. That makes it more than 86% likely that the person who gave your wife covid was vaxed. In any event, the covid she got was definitely passed through vaxed people at some point to make its way to her, because unvaxed people only account for 15% of cases or less (again, according to Hodad).

  26. Seems to work fine in my case. I've been jabbed 4 times and largely work within the confines of an enclosed environment driving a boat with up to 24 passengers onboard. I'm sure I've had sick people aboard the last few years but between vaccines, masking, screening and other measures neither myself or anyone that's crewed with me has reported catching COVID at work. More than a few have been infected outside of work but again, not me. I'm not aware of anyone in my fairly large and busy circle of friends, family and associates reporting anything worse than a sore arm and no one knows anyone who's died of vaccine or COVID. That said, my wife contracted COVID in hospital after surgery and it almost killed her. I can't prove it but I bet the odds are that she was infected because of some selfish waste-of-skin anti-vaxtard who refused to get with the program needed to be hospitalized. Blah blah blah...get back to me when the Nobel Committee gets back to you.

  27. Okay. Politicians lie, this is a revelation? Get over it. They were interested for as long as it took them to know they're better off being vaccinated. Once that was established however they pretty much moved on to other interests. No, I expect they'll still only account for about half the deaths. I mean at some point if everyone is vaccinated deaths will be entirely amongst the multi-vaxxed. But they'll still have 5 times a better chance of not getting sick enough to die, because they're vaccinated.

  30. George Santos is the Republican Party's future: A shameless con man Trump opened the door — and now every grifter and two-bit criminal sees job security in pandering to the GOP base … After all, what is the modern GOP, if not a holding station for every two-bit criminal and grifter who wants the job security that can only come with exploiting the endlessly credulous Republican base? The party can no more start kicking out the fraudsters than it can stop trying to cut taxes for the rich. This is just who they are and what they do. George Santos is in no sense an anomaly. He is the Republican present and, even more to the point, the Republican future. That much was made evident by the painfully predictable reactions of GOP voters in New York's 3rd district, where Santos beat Democrat Robert Zimmerman — who actually is Jewish — for the seat left open by Democratic Rep. Tom Suozzi. In interviews with Politico, random Republican voters justified their continued support with an epic display of what-about-ism, mostly based on Fox News-derived fictions about Democrats. "Truthfully, I don't trust the Democrats on anything they say. I see it on the TV and I turn it off," said one woman, in a typical example. Santos' voters didn't exactly defend him so much as argue, on no particular evidence, that whatever he did, the Democrats are worse. … Republican voters mostly coast on hyperbolic vitriol about the evils of Democrats, which are at best vague insinuations of corruption, and at worst outright lies and QAnon-style conspiracy theories. Convincing Republican voters to believe that Democrats are literally the worst people imaginable certainly helps Republicans win elections. But it's also destabilizing the party from within, because shady characters of all flavors now understand that no sin or crime is so great that it cannot be wiped away by running for office as a Republican. The result is a party full of cranks, chronic liars and petty criminals, a situation that gets worse every election cycle, as demonstrated by the Santos fiasco. As usual, Donald Trump didn't invent this problem, but only distilled it to its essence. This all goes back well before him, asevidenced by the gold bugs and snake-oil peddlers who have long been the dominant advertisers in right-wing media. Trump probably decided to run as a Republican because he saw how vulnerable the party was to manipulators and con artists, but his 2016 election dramatically amplified the problem. Every charlatan in the country watched as Trump paid no political price whatever for a barrage of scandals involving corruption, malfeasance, gaslighting, lies and, eventually, actual sedition. To this point he's paid virtually no legal price, either. …. https://www.salon.com/2022/12/28/george-santos-is-the-partys-future-a-shameless-con-man/

  31. So why use "a possibility" to foment hatred? FYI a "distinct possibility" doesn't even mean a 50% chance. Even a 10% chance is a distinct possibility. Dr Dr dipshit tell you that as well? Why would you expect me to think anything of you? You're ignorant, you lie constantly, you make baseless accusations even while knowing they're false, you're willing to throw young people under the bus to save your own skin, etc, and this is just another perfect example of you being you. Your reap what you sow dude - you're repugnant. Other people might be wiling to look past it because they're too kind or they fear confrontation, I personally find it more useful to be honest. Suck it up, buttercup.
