It looks like there will be a large truckers convoy starting in BC and rolling through to Ottawa to oppose Trudeau's vile vaccine mandates for the trucking industry. We are in for a rough ride as as many as 40k trucks will come off the road because of sock boys stupidity. https://canada-unity.com/bearhug/2 points

Indeed. The people responsible need a distraction and a blame shift. The Unvaccinated appear to be that distraction.2 points

You can bet the technocrats who imposed these mandates aren’t going to deliver your groceries. They’re very insulated from the impacts of their mandates and restrictions.2 points

You guys do know that WMD include nukes, Chemical wpns, Bio wpns. And in Iraq tons upon tons of chemical wpns where found in various locations across the country. plus they also found chemical wpns production plants to make several types of nerve gases ( including VX), blister agent, blood agent, mustard agents, he had some of the worlds most dangerous chemical agents in the world. to which he used on the people of Iraq, Iran, and the Kurdish population. And while they did not find any nukes or nuclear material they did find trace amounts of radiation in some warehouses, just becasue they did not find any does not mean they did not exist... they are just now finding remnants of the Iraqi air force buried in the sand even today. I'm not saying Sadams nuke program did not exist, they already knew that it did, they just did not find any nuke material so it is neither proven or unproven. But chemical wpns were found in several dozen locations and lots of it...something else he denied having...2 points

Over the past couple years you've heard politicians from all over use the platform "Build Back Better". You've heard this platform from Boris Johnson in Britain, Sleepy Joe Biden in the United States, Trudeau in Canada, New Zealand, the United Nations and other places. What exactly are we building? A society where you cant leave your homes past 10pm like in Quebec? Where you can't sit in a restaurant without injecting a foreign substance into your arm or access public transit or hold a job. Seems like a marriage between government and corporations where if you don't go along with the flavor of the day whether it be the climate change hoax, BLM, face rags, etc. you can't stay employed. What's next? Losing ability to use banks if you don't pledge your allegiance to the wokesters?1 point

He didn't really change anything, he kept the same ball rolling towards the same cliff edge. Trump was/is much less a cause and more the effect of an America that started changing quite a while ago.1 point

Have you forgotten Donna Brazile? Donna Brazile finally admits giving primary debate questions to Clinton campaign - New York Daily News (nydailynews.com) I think the only reason she got fired from CNN was that her devious actions became public knowledge and an embarrassment for CNN. If it didn't become public she would not have been fired. The sinking ratings show that progressives are tuning out in droves. Can anyone name just one good show on CNN. I mean fair and objective.1 point

Check out Dr. Byram Bridle. He was so well-respected in his field that the Canadian government asked him to check out the vaccines prior to rollout. He returned a report that wasn't favourable and so he is now blacklisted and branded a looney. Peter McCullough and Robert Malone, Daniel Nagasse and Charles Hoffe. There are more but I tried to include mostly Canadian doctors and scientists for you. Dr. Tess Lawrie is another good one.1 point

Here's the problem with that then. You're wrong. Asians represent 5.9% of the American population but only 1.5% of the prison population. Even if that was not the case a high percentage of the population incarcerated would not show " intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group." So no genocide. And even if you believe it does where would you get the idea whites were acting under orders from a Christian or Jewish God?1 point

Not to mention that this country's food supply critically depends on the supplies from the South this time of year, at -20C. Is it just stupidity or deliberate raising of tensions by pushing a patently failed ideological agenda, when other countries are removing restrictions? I can't be certain any longer here.1 point

that's how it started with the Jews too being forced out of jobs, not being able to go to certain businesses like I said, you don't know your history changing the targeted group from Jews to Unvaccinated throws you off the scent apparently1 point

Anyone who thinks about voting should understand people should be required to vote in person and produce a photo ID. Voting by mail opens it to widespread fraud. Should be no mail in voting.1 point

It illustrates the arrogance and cynicism of governments that impose draconian restrictions and mandates, thinking they can get away with it if people have a few staples. Sadly, he may be right. I question how much Canadians value freedom. They used to.1 point

Most of the population is still following. If people have food, shelter and entertainment, the pressures will not rise. I do agree that there has been a switch with millennial and gen z into questioning the measures and mandates taken. Interestingly enough the younger generation is more fed up with the regulations than the older generation. Those responsible do need a "they made us end the restrictions" type of deal.1 point

A common myth. America shipped Saddam many things as part of food for oil programs...nerve gas agents and precursors were not on the list. What they did send was thiodiglycol which has many uses...from inks to insecticides. Saddam used it to make a limited amount of 'mustard gas'...sulfur mustard. Which while a very annoying...even crippling blister agent, isn't a true WMD like VX or sarin. You are correct that the bulk of Saddam's chemical weapons program made it to Syria (not Iran) before the invasion. The convoys were even tracked as they went.1 point

I want raw data so hopefully I can come to the same conclusion, this way I know exactly why I hold a stance and can discuss using the raw data. "so why only skepticism of official sources and not the wing nut ones others post here?" - Why bother? wing nut posts are silly and can just be ignored unless they point to official data. If you have noticed I try to only post official data. I would also say that official data requires a higher level of accuracy to their statement, because most people trust their conclusions and their records. If an official source fails to provide accurate statements or fails to provide correct recommendations, the public will distrust official sources.1 point

On the WMDs, I think they knew Saddam had them because america sold them to him. And I think he shipped it all off to Iran, before the invasion.1 point

I’ve never used that phrase. Lazy pidgin holing. Liberal versus Conservative is over. Those are quaint notions from a world that no longer exists. Our political parties have demonstrated how little discretion they have. Canada is very vulnerable. Even the US is struggling to maintain its freedoms, but it’s certainly faring better than we are.1 point

That requirement is imbedded in US law, and there has not been any president or anyone else charged or brought to court for breaking it ever. There has been additional laws to limit the presidents power since , but then again no one has ever been charged in a court of law for taking the us into a conflict.1 point
