  2. I'm thinking, hundreds...probably more. It wouldn't just be BLM. Like remember those clowns who took over the Wisconsin state house a few years ago. How many of those would Beave and Nancy want to see shot if they'd been right wingers? Then there was that "insurrection" after Trump's inauguration when they burned down the Whitehouse church.

  3. Exactly the differences between wokes versus the Civil Rights Movement and the mainstream Left as a larger spectrum in general. The wokes look for equality of outcome, and a difference of outcome is always synonymous with unfairness while it doesn't have to be proven. It is guaranteed that any discrepancy, is unfairness, unjust. The Civil Rights Movement and the mainstream Left want equality of opportunity, which is desirable and actually is a levelled playing ground for everyone to be included.

  4. BC yesterday just announced new measures. My wife asked me what I think and I said let's keep our plans for a New Years eve party and the Bonnie Henry can eat sh!t.

  5. 1. Please, enlighten me. Is there another reason to why there are discrepancies in math results across races to explain the gaps in between them? Because I really thought a math exam was related to whether or not you may answer a mathematical problem. For me, the gaps between successfullness between races is easily explainable; in statistics, in order to have valid data, you need sample size which are to the least proportional between comparison groups. There are much fewer applicants in the study shown to the courts pertaining to certain ethnicities than others, thus making the sample size for the Black applicants 10 times less than the number of whites. For certain ethnicities, such as 'Latinos' and 'middle Eastern', they account for a tenth of the number of White applicants. Look at this, the data from a study presented to the trial; This is not a tangible proof of discrimination. The data is just bivariate, and doesn't control for outside factors such as the level of instruction of the applicants and many other variables we could discuss gladly. 2 Having mathematically literate teacher is a plus for the students. Having a teacher with browner skin isn't a plus, it's neutral. At least in my view as a non-racist person.

  6. The longer we can preserve these resources, the longer we can survive. Why not transition to nuclear power? We have enough uranium to last over two centuries and the earth has enough thorium to last for thousands of years. The export market for nuclear technology is huge. Yzer, why are you so welded to burning up the pillars of civilization?

  7. We found the most suitable replacement 70 years ago and then let people who don't know what they are talking about, scare people away from it. It, being nuclear power. That's what happens when we let American style anti-science into our educational system. Not only does nuclear power let us radically reduce carbon emissions, but the extraction and refining of uranium brings long term prosperity to western Canada, and the rebuilding of the rail system means prosperity for the east. It means future generations will have the 10's of thousands of products derived from petroleum and coal. Coal and oil are far too valuable to burn as fuel. Without coal, you cannot make steel. Without steel, you cannot make large scale energy, and without large scale energy, most of us die. It is imperative that we conserve our petroleum, coal and iron for future generations.

  9. I saved a Vancouver Sun issue from the mid 1960's. 3 bedroom houses were selling for $16,900.00. I agree the empty condo speculators are a problem. If people keep moving into the interior of BC, the wilderness will disappear forever. It is already being ruined by logging.

  10. 1. I looked into this for 2019 or 2020, I think. The number of new homes delivered was roughly the same as the population increase. There are two homes on my block that are sitting empty now - when I was growing up there were never empty houses. 2.

  11. it's Trudeau he sets a low bar in all these categories not very hard to clear those hurdles the assumption that only smart, knowledgeable, ethical and patriotic individuals win elections is a far more laughable assertion than the assertion you find laughable

  12. Interesting how in this or any other forum, all posters are smarter, more knowledgeable, more ethical, more patriotic than Trudeau, or whoever else is in power. It is quite the phenomenon and pretty laughable.

  13. That was in reply to: It was kind of a recurring theme from you on the first page that if the left does something disreputable it's OK because that's just the way of the world. Everybody does it. Except...apparently that's not true with Gerrymandering. Apparently that only matters when republicans do it. And thanks for making me read all that first page crap all over again. What? You couldn't just do that yourself?

  14. if you think it’s more important to hire teachers that represent the community than it is to hire the best teachers for those communities, regardless of how representative they are of that community's demographics then you are woke it's a terrible trade off, and any reasonable person can see that it's an unnecessary evil that you openly support

  15. You don't paraphrase with quotation marks. We learn that when we learn what the word means. Betsy created a false quote using words they never said. There's even a commandment against doing that. My quotation was perfectly accurate. The fact you are apprehensive about going to the original source of my quotation is telling. Because then the accuracy of it would be undeniable and you would, again, look like an idiot. And BTW, as a white person, I'm offended Betsy would substitute the words "being white" for "biased and racist ideologies." These racist stereotypes against white people are unacceptable.

  16. No problem, comrade. You can have my old car and my dirty old looking worn out belt. I am pretty sure that you have to be quite happy living in the land of Chairman Trudeau, right? ?

  18. The Indian nations in BC are allowed to own private property today. Pretty much all of BC is now considered to be native Indian owned land or property. There is pretty much nothing that can be done on any land in BC unless one gets the blessing of some native Indian Chief and band. The NDP communists were responsible for that little screwing for the non-Indians of BC.So, enjoy your property today because the native Indians can take it away from you tomorrow. ?

  20. I can believe that alright. The parents should be saying no when that day comes about. But if I know my Canadian parents, they will not say or do anything about it. They will just comply as usual. These parents are your typical Canadians who just want to go along to get along, and afraid to ask any questions or challenge anything that the government tells them to say or do. Castro Trudeau wants to push as many vaccines as he can because he is making plenty of money from it. Guaranteed. And we must not forget that the premiers of every province are no doubt getting some kind of a kickback from the big pharma globalists to keep pushing for more vaccine mandates and vaccine passports. Our dictating and lying politicians have let we the peasants down. They can never be trusted ever again with anything they say, and that goes for the lying media also. ?

  21. The anti-intellectual era, but the angry era. The era where racism has to be found in a math test. The era in which a woke professor published a book defending pedophilia, and the press rebranding the term as "adults attracted to minors". https://apnews.com/article/media-crime-education-virginia-norfolk-2adff01de54205e6513d5071f29e772a https://torontosun.com/news/world/woke-watch-prof-says-lets-ditch-the-term-pedophile-for-minor-attracted-person

  22. And here's another Jan. 6 infiltrator - Tim Gionet AKA, Baked Alaska. " Baked Alaska has a similar story to John Sullivan, the Antifa activist who stormed the US Capitol, broke a window, filmed Ashli Babbit’s death, and is walking free today. John Sullivan even organized an Antifa rally near the US Capitol on January 6th before the Trump rally that has been ignored by the media and FBI for some reason. Since January 6th, Baked Alaska’s video footage has been used by Democrats in their impeachment of President Trump. And the FBI admitted it was using Baked Alaska’s footage to identify suspects and track down Capitol Hill rioters. Tim Gionet is a free man today as Americans he filmed rot in prison without a trial date. Why is that?"

  23. What? Of course covid doesn't cause all inflation, since inflation existed before covid. Obviously we're talking about the current spike in inflation here. So I really need to point this out?

  24. So you have no rebuttal to getting absolutely dismantled yet again for your bs claims. So you do your usual “something something therefore you’re a liar” mumbo jumbo routine and give yourself a hi-five Shocker.

  25. You edited the quote to change it's meaning. What a slimy, disgusting thing to do. The part of the quote that you cited went like this: The OP was 100% correct, you just edited the Salvation Army's quote, Schumer-style, to create your own lying narrative. They 100% did insinuate that all white people people need to apologize for racism and that no one else does. It's as plain as day. FWIW, MSN also had the exact same take on it. Only you and @Michael Hardner are into your little lie. #tenthousandreasonstohateleftists

  26. There isn't quite consensus, because there is indeed a LOT of money pumped into the economy but it's hyperbolic and hysterical to say Trudeau's assessment reflects "not having the barest grasp" etc... Once again, for the hard of thinking majority on here: I am not a fan of Trudeau but I can't stand the kind of half-assed criticism that passes for commentary around here. https://www.economist.com/graphic-detail/2021/11/06/a-handful-of-items-are-driving-inflation-in-america

  28. I believe many spheres of academia and in our institutions that revolve around control of human behavior is absolutely turning demented. We let so much power to corporations, governments and authority figures. You see it with COVID too, with the restrictions on behaviors and the imposition of new social norms but also fights toward intellectual elements of our society such as the equality of opportunity to be replaced with equality of outcome.
