  1. Just curious, if infidel dogs link is just an opinion, how do we know that your sources are not just opinion. Intra net is full of opinions that either supports climate change or disproves climate change...Those that believe in it say it is supported by science, and the same for the non believers... I think most of us here believe there is a change in the climate, where everyone differs is the extent of the current damage, and the rate of damage being done... There seems to be many different camps on this the Holy shit we are all going to die today if we don't do something drastic right now(green and NDP parties ) and the the yes climate change is real but we are going to play the long game reduce emissions over a period of time with out destroying the economy The liberals are all over the place they did very little over the last 5 years, and now they want to follow Big Joe down south... Justin is a follower not a leader science has proven that the artic ice is receding at rapid rates, but for some reason can not explain why Antarctica ice sheets are expanding at a rapid rates. Even with the massive sheets that have broken off in the last couple years. As for weather wise, our weather is always changing, and has been yoyoing for years at a time. Look at NB weather 10 years ago we had very little snow, and then in the last 4 years we have received record snow falls resulting in record floods, and they blame climate change...and this year we barely had anything in the south NB, they blame it on climate change...but historically it has always been like that. 2. And yet, Canada is begging for covid vaccines from other nations, including the U.S. and India, because it did not develop, test, or manufacture covid vaccine domestically, or maintain the capability to do so. Economics 101.

  3. https://www.thestar.com/business/2021/04/19/federal-budget-2021-ottawa-proposes-luxury-tax-on-pricey-cars-boats-planes.html As usual, the Libs waste no opportunity to stick it to successful Canadians, but play politics with the cutoff limits and exemptions. WTF is with allowing 250k baseline for boats (that start at a few thousand) but put $100k on a new airplane - NONE of which can sell anywhere near that price. Similarly, why are motorhomes exempt??????? The NDP comment in this article is a bit closer to common sense - but they want to tax assets instead of income. The real solution is, without any question - to tax things that do NOT create wealth and stay the fuck away from earned income that results from productive endeavour. In other words - tax speculative gain...but that would mean housing/real estate and there isn't a Canadian politician with the balls (or the brains) to do that.

  4. Wrong...Canada still has facilities that can make vaccines. The Trudeau government failed to invest the billions necessary to get the job done like other nations did, betting on China instead. Either way, it was Canadian choices that led to this situation, regardless of PM or ruling party. "Allies" does not mean freedom from competition or the right to steal IP. Canada use to be able to do such things domestically...not any more. Canada has one of the lowest R&D spending levels among OECD nations. More Canadians defect to the USA for jobs and higher pay than Americans going to Canada. It has been that way for....decades.

  5. So says you . . . . Just in case you haven't noticed . . . . boats/barges are used to get logs from the Skeena/Nass/etc. down to the markets in the lower mainland. Fish for consumer palates is caught /shipped by boat . . . . fish herring, wheelbarrow full of money, buy house and Harley. What colour is the sky in 'your world' ?

  6. Aww that was just mean spirited. I already gave you some linky-dinks. No one's disputing that Indians have screwed themselves. I just pointed out it's a cultural thing embedded for a long, ling time. Candians would do well to take heed, for that matter. That info you provided is more bad news for Canada as Trudeau's last-minute vaccine deals fall apart again. They were just smoke and mirrors, apparently. Glad for you. I'm sure you're all feeling very relieved. Everyone I know has lived as well. No one I know has covid. Not even a friend of a friend, of a friend. So I figure I'm all right jack, let the unhealthy people and the morbidly afeared go first. I may get around to it eventually. Or, not. Once all you people are immune I don't have to be immune.

  7. Bonnie Heinrick has morphed from her earlier, more friendly and reassuring ways into an angry, barking attack dog. You may want to watch yourself out there pretty soon because we can all easily be "sequestered",, for health reasons..

  8. Can i assume you know the answer to that question, could you please explain it? The reason i ask is there has been 5 or 6 major ice age events during earths history, man and animals seemed to have survived just fine, why is that.. And why should we be so concerned about this thaw, what makes this one special. 9. In my opinion a car over $50,000 qualifies as a luxury vehicle. Any boat is a luxury boat unless its use is to bring people from the mainland to an island where those live. Same with aircraft. In addition, any snowmobile, ATV or Harley motorcycle will be luxury items. This list goes on..

  10. How can the federal government abuse public funds to the tune of $300 million to support the divisive and inflammatory "critical race theory" that most Canadians would never support? How did the Liberals become so compromised that they'll ignore the oppressive incarceration of Uighurs in China yet promulgate a controversial perspective from the U.S. context? This government is pathetic. They can't acquire vaccines, but they have no shortage of attention and public money for dubious causes. https://apple.news/AqH6OFAGsSwqJSklupc76Rg

  11. Why not? Governments assume extraordinary powers in extraordinary situations (like war time measures) however, I don't think this Liberal government has the spines to impose these kind of measures.

  12. It is little wonder that some Canadians are skeptical about getting a covid vaccine shot given the way that procurment was badly bungled by the Trudeau government, and the resulting desperation caused by supply shortages prompting health officials to stagger dosage intervals up to 16 weeks and even mixing vaccine types in Quebec. These vaccines were hastily approved for emergency use during the pandemic, and Canada was not even part of the phase testing trials for Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AZ, or J&J. Not following the manufacturers recommended and approved dosing protocols logically increases skepticism. Criticizing people for not taking or being hesitant about vaccines only increases anti-vax sentiments and behaviours.

  13. Grow up dude. People can make their own choices, and this is a "devil you know" scenario. A lot of people don't fear covid because the data says that they're not at risk from it and that's a choice that's based on the science and data. A lot of people fear covid more than the vaccine and that's a choice too. Waiting to see what happens with covid and with the vaccines is yet another choice. This has nothing to do with aliens or DiCaprio's private jet podcast for climate alarmists, just science. FYI people have died of the vaccines. That's a real thing, and I bet that if those people had the choice to go back and not take it, they wouldn't. Could you blame them C-2015? There are a lot of other very severe side effects, including shingles. I'm more worried about shingles than covid, because shingles is very bad no matter who you are. FYI V2.0 - the vaccine rollout goes against the science of vaccinations. No one used to get vaccinated for things that they recently had or currently have because it's either A redundant or B dangerous. And how do you know if you have it if the tests aren't reliable and it's possible that you're infected but asymptomatic? I'm in no rush. My mom already had covid so I don't need to get vaccinated to see her, and there's no one else that I might have to take care of. The people who have good reason to fear covid, or who live with/care for those people, can get it first. By the time my turn comes there will probably be herd immunity.
