  1. Nothing about the Ukraine plane crash, including what the US, Canadian, or Iranian govs say should be believed without evidence. Before the Iraq War and Vietnam War (Gulf of Tonkin, Pentagon Papers), the US has a history of falsifying claims. Let's see the satellite footage and black box, for starters.

  2. I'm not saying the US gov/CIA was behind the plane crash (or wasn't - we don't know), i'm saying they aren't to be trusted to provide an explanation on what happened, nor are the Iranians. Also, US hegemony doesn't depend on moral authority, it depends on military and economic power.

  3. 1. We have less fortunate people in Canada. They should come first. Why should it be my concern over how people live in countries thousands of miles away from me and their problems? They have poverty or hunger issues, well, bloody well fix them. Stop taking my tax dollars and given them away to total strangers? Foreign aid must stop now. I am not my brothers world keeper. Just remember that all of that money that Canada gives away to other countries is all borrowed from the globalist banksters who make plenty of interest of that borrowed money while you have to pay that money back in taxes. What a great deal, eh? 2. Canada does not need 400,000 new immigrants or legal or illegal so called refugees immigrating or sneaking into Canada. Our politicians are trying to flood Canada with the rest of the world. That is insane. There are approx. 5 million Canadians unemployed in this country. Now those Canadians will have to compete with those unwanted or unneeded immigrants for jobs. Canada only needs to replace the amount of people that die every year. No more than that. More immigration just means more services and infrastructure, and not to forget the damage that is being done to the environment. Sadly, for most Canadians, all of that mentioned above will never sink into their small brains, and will never ring a bell for them. 3. Any unnecessary ministries is a major waste of taxpayer's tax dollars. Part of the reason is that there is too much federal government involvement in provincial affairs and politics. Hand most of those ministries back over to the provinces instead and let them do what needs to be done. 4. Yes, Canada does have many different cultures in it's population, but that is no reason to have a minister for multiculturalism or diversity. What for? If people want to hang on to their past, well do so at home, and stop trying to spread their cultures on the rest of the host Canadian people. At onetime, Christmas was a big thing in Canada. Today, thanks to the promotion of multiculturalism, it has become just another ho-hum event day for many which probably amounts to about 40% of the population who could probably care less about our Canadian Christmas tradition. Today, Canada now pays for and helps promote and support other foreign cultures while our politicians try to delete our Canadian culture one tradition at a time. 5. There are plenty of Canadian websites that will show you as to just how much Canada has blown on all of those multicult programs and agendas I have mentioned above. It has run into the trillions of tax dollars. Tax dollars well wasted. Disgusting indeed. 6. IMHO, the electorate have become totally clueless and useless when it comes to politics and how their tax dollars are being blown. Just look who they voted in the last election. That should tell us all as to just how dumb most Canadians have become in this gawd awful political messed up forsaken country today. Enough ranting on this topic. It's time for a coffee. See you.

  4. You’re still blaming the victim. Leaving my front door unlocked doesn’t mean thieves have a right to rob me. Looking sexy doesn’t give a rapist a free pass to rape. Blame the thief and rapist.

  5. Huh? What about the instability Iran brought about by attacking Saudi oil fields? Or attack a U.S. embassy? Or seizing foreign vessels in the straight of Hormuz? Any of that cause instability? Or are you just arbitrarily starting in January 2020 ?

  8. Some people regard the US overthrow of Iran's government in 1953 as being the first of the dots that connect to 9/11. It was the first US covert overthrow of another nation's government during peacetime and it's success irrevocably changed the US for the worst by giving it the sense that interfering in other countries and inflicting dictators on other people was acceptable behaviour. Rinse and repeat and here we are.

  9. Um, Iran has air traffic control like every country with international flights. It’s the Iranian government’s responsibility to manage its airports and inform its air traffic controllers whether passenger flights can go ahead. Also, the Iranian military shot it down, so that’s a pretty high percentage of liability. So what, military aren’t responsible for distinguishing between commercial jets and foreign military aircraft? It’s like blaming someone for getting killed by gunfire because he didn’t wear a bulletproof vest. Ukraine should have taken more precautions but that doesn’t make Ukraine responsible for what happened to the aircraft.

  10. Because I'm a conservative and many who call themselves conservatives, aren't. Certainly the US Republicans don't qualify. They had congress, senate and presidency and increased the deficit substantially. Phhht. Some conservatives. Not to mention they worship a whoremongering liar, gambler and adulterer of a president who has never paid attention to religion in his life but seem to think he's going to save them from immorality.

  11. I can repeat it again if it becomes useful. I don't see it. Consider using appropriate language. If you speak the truth, you don't have to exaggerate or use vile or shameful language. It doesn't matter what type it is. There are not many easier ways to waste one's life but by 'waiting for inspiration'.

  12. I would argue with that. I would say it is far more accurate to state that the inmates are running the asylum.

  14. Exactly and all these started happening after the 1979 islamic coup in Iran when a peanut brain idiot by the name of Carter was elected US president and with his idiotic policies drove away the Shah and installed the ayatollahs in power terrorism got 100 times worse all originating from this cancerous organ. You know nothing about intentional or middle eastern politics. Iran nation are sacrificing their lives every day to get rid of this murderous regime which has brought nothing but death, war, hate, destruction and welcome any help to completely isolate this regime and eventually remove this regime. The worst enemy if the middle eastern nations are the regimes themselves not the US or the West. TAKE OUT THE CANCEROUS ORGAN.

  15. The title for this thread is insane. Iran shoots down the passenger plane just taken off from its own airport a few minutes earlier and somehow Trump is responsible for that!!!!!!. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/champagne-iran-plane-crash-1.5420398 Another reason among hundreds more (like killing 1500 defenseless people last month) why Iran regime leaders must be taken to international courts and charged with crime against humanity.

  16. But it has not been just the US interfering and destabilizing the region for many decades, and that includes Canada (e.g. Gulf War, Libya, etc.). Terrorists have also attacked many other nations besides the USA and American interests. You can't hide from reality by pretending all would be paradise if only the U.S. stayed home.

  18. Lol. More like the perceived weakness of Trudeau that's got Canadians killed! Take note that no Americans had lost their lives! If this crash was a deliberate attack - with 138 passengers booked for Canada - then, yeah - Iran sees Canada as an easy target! We are the "proxy" punching bag. Get used to it.

  19. You might want to save the above response for the extremist Muslim fundamentalists you support in Iran and elsewhere. Ironic. The West is a culture right now gripped by the political correctness of apology. guilt and self interest. On the other hand we have Eastern Islamic extremism produces hysterical bearded baboons chanting and screaming and blowing things up in fits of penis size anxiety to match those of Putin and Trump. The kind of inspiration I talk about you have no clue about. It comes from every day people as well as people like Martin Luther King Jr., Robert Kennedy, Churchill, Eisenhower, Truman, Eleanor Roosevelt, Konrad Adenhauer, Sadat, Rabin, Sir Arthur Currie, Maj. Gen. Bert Hofmeister, no one you would know.

  20. I agree, but with the Russian-funded disinfo sites 'responsible' isn't actually a thing anymore. People will not speak up about irresponsible, or even dangerous posts that are perceived as coming from people who agree with their politics. It's a terrible situation, and won't get better until people like you and me start speaking up with volume about false information from our political team mates.

  21. Who's reporting that? It's completely irresponsible.

  22. Conscription is never a good idea, and should be used only as a last resort, it's problems far out way it's benefits, many countries that have used conscription have went back to a volunteer Army like Germany etc.. Israel uses it to get effect because they are always at a high level of readiness, that and most of the citizens sees serving as a source of pride.. Nuclear wpns require vast amounts to produce, maintain and update, far more than a conventional army would ever cost, besides we already next door to the worlds largest nuclear wpns holder in the world...they hold enough to wipe out the human race 5 times over....Having them here in Canada is not going to give you anything of value, that the US could not already do, Now being part of the North America BMD project would give us a lot more value a limited defense against incoming nukes. Canada does not have to have a military that destroys all comers, But we should be able to mount a credible defense of the nation until our allies can arrive, todays military fails that standard miserable...on top of all that we have signed on to some huge defense agreements, such as NORAD, which the US pays for 90 % of, NATO which today we might be able to send a brigade size force for a limited time, NOTE a brigade is one of the smallest land formations approx. 5 to 7000 troops...thats sad really for a nation that once supplied 5 fighting divisions to WWII plus 3 divisions for home defense... It is these agreements that we would need a very modern military force for. not many PM's have resisted the temptation to use it's armed forces for some reason or another over seas... trying to build up that legacy image that is written in the history books. That is the real reason to build an army with modern equipment so they have a fighting chance to come home...

  25. Hockey is the antithesis of sportsmanship. I was brought up in the culture "it is not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game." The fact that crimminal assault and battery is not just permitted but encouraged should be enough to question its existance.
