  1. Like you. On one hand you're forced to criticize Trudeau.........and yet on the other, you try to whitewash and exonerate his corruptions by bringing up Harper! Lol. What's Harper got to do with this? Why don't you give us a proof of Harper's so-called corruption?

  2. The BDS movement and their anti semite supporters are pretty sneaky with their propaganda which is not as most understand. IF BDS HAD HONORABLE INTENTIONS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS et al, they would not be singularly attacking Israel and ignoring such countries as China, North Korea and Russia, and particularly many of the Muslim countries. Why is there no collective organization protesting their continuing deplorable actions? Obviously because it's not in the interests of anti Semites to do so. "The Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel often presents itself as a non-violent method to support Palestinian rights. It is critical to understand however, that to the founders and leaders of the movement, BDS is a tool to bring about the end of the State of Israel." In the video below, Omar Barghouti -- a founding member and leading activist of the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) -- explains frankly and clearly that, despite what many might think, the end of Israel's military presence and the establishment of a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza is not the end game of BDS. Video "If the occupation ends, let's say, would that end your calls for BDS? No, it wouldn't," he said. https://www.creativecommunityforpeace.com/about-bds/

  4. I have a freind who is a big supporter of Palestine and I've found that a lot of what she posts against Israel turn out to be lies. This one for instance: (Just one, I know of many because I read blogs more than mainstream media) On Sept. 30, 2000, Charles Enderlin reported for France's TV channel - France 2 - that a 12 year old Palestinian boy was shot and killed by the IDF, dying in agony. He provided a 55 second clip showing a boy and his father hiding behind some barrels. The footage went viral and the boy was touted as a symbol of Palestinian victimhood and Israeli brutality. The Palestinian cameraman who filmed it testified that the boy was killed intentionally and in cold blood. It wasn't until 2004 that 3 reporters were allowed to view the actual 27 minute long video and discovered that it mostly depicted Palestinians ACTING as if they had been shot and were dying and that there was no actual footage of the boy in his death throes. Comparison with other film from the same incident proved it was a hoax. In 2006, 3 French reporters who reported on the hoax were charged with defamation and found guilty - clearly "good" lies are permitted and "bad" truths are punished. The verdict was appealed and this time the judge asked to see the footage. The reporter was finally cleared in May, 2008. The mainstream media reported very little after the initial accusations - the truth only came out in blogs. I made my friend aware of this when she recently posted of the "Mohammed al-Dura boy" who was shot by Israel. The mainstream media is complicit in covering up what's really going on and Islam is getting better and better at manipulating the masses through the media towards Islamic sympathies. I rarely believe Palestine's version of events, until I've seen the proof. Although I'm sure Israel engages in it's own share of brainwashing the public through mainstream media, I have difficulty faulting Israel - the Palestinian mandate is not to live peacefully next door to Israel. It is to destroy them. .

  5. The Arabs started the war with the full intention of killing every Jew in the Levant. They followed the Nazi Grand Mufti and his call to continue the Holocaust against the Jews. https://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1893&dat=19470915&id=lLAfAAAAIBAJ&sjid=N9cEAAAAIBAJ&pg=1802,5405767&hl=en The Arabs lost...badly... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1948_Arab–Israeli_War Losers don't dictate terms...no matter how many airliners or cruise ships they hijack or blow-up in order to terrorize the planet into giving them another chance to murder all the Jews. And here's something for everyone to remember, even you antisemites and BDS supporters out there: before 1967, there were no 'Palestinians'...just Egyptians and Jordanians respectively. They transformed magically after the Arabs lost yet another war that they, themselves, started...the Six Day War. I can only assume that if you support the "Palestinians" (PLO/Hamas), you're also a fan of Hitler and probably thought he was a good man. These folks won't sign on to Camp David...they only want dead Jews...as their Nazi Grand Mufti promised them. Can't delete this, dialamah...hypocrite.

  6. Yes. But if they don't also support BDS for places like China and Saudi Arabia they're giant hypocrites. For instance, China is literally committing genocide against Muslim minorities: https://nypost.com/2019/08/13/muslim-women-reportedly-sterilized-in-chinese-re-education-camps/ The silence is deafening. To her credit, Ilhan Omar is a vocal critic of both the Saudi and Chinese regime.

  8. The commissioner also seemed highly peeved that the Liberal government refused to cooperate by releasing documents to him. Anyway, so much for Trudeau's claim that his sunny ways would be more above-board than previous governments. Instead he's set a record for ethics violations.

  9. Maybe the United States of America, controlled by powerful lobby groups. At least right now, there are some descending voices speaking out against the powers and creating some positives within the UN. You ask a good question Spanky. What is the alternative? People who are against the UN, always want to reduce the UN to the inefficiencies and the circus which is part of it. The UN does go beyond the Human Rights Council with Saudi Arabia sitting in as a member. There are a lot of worthy UN programs out there that are keeping people from dying. These deaths are a result of chaos that is created by lawlessness around the world and the systematic hegemony and extortion by the West.

  10. Official report just released. Ethics Commissionner Mario Dion reports Trudeau has broke the Ethics Conduct by asking Wilson-Raybould to let SNC off the hook. Trudeau also broke the independance of the Justice System. -- "The evidence showed there were many ways in which Mr. Trudeau, either directly or through the actions of those under his direction, sought to influence the Attorney General," Dion wrote, in his report released Wednesday. "The evidence showed that SNC-Lavalin had significant financial interests in deferring prosecution. These interests would likely have been furthered had Mr. Trudeau successfully influenced the Attorney General to intervene in the Director of Public Prosecutions' decision," Dion said. "The actions that sought to further these interests were improper since they were contrary to the Shawcross doctrine and the principles of prosecutorial independence and the rule of law

  11. Germany's economy just shrank, meaning Europe's biggest economy is 'teetering on the edge of recession' https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/germany-economy-shrinks-recession-us-china-trade-war-hits-exports-2019-8-1028444689 Germany has been the example of what Europe should strive for, socially and economically. It has been an example of tight control of their budget, a great economic recovery was initiated in the 1990s after the Berlin Wall fell, called the ten year plan, which made Germany not only rich, but powerful politically across Europe, being not only the richest, but also one of the largest and the most populated country of the continent. Germany cut through the 2008 crisis like a warm knife in butter. Germany was actually more powerful after 2008, than before. And in 2011, when Greece almost declared bankruptcy, Germany stood firm and demanded to be paid back, and Greece had to cut pensions and salaries by half to reach a deal with Germany so they could be refunded eventually. Germany was an almighty power, and if you had to cut your population's livelihood to pay them back, you had to. Greece, Portugal, Cyprus, Spain, Italy all paid a huge toll for the European project to be concrete, as Germany leaving the EU, as it was a popular options in the early 2010s, would be an impossible loss to recover from. But in 2015, things changed with the manufactured refugee crisis in Syria. In only a year, by following corporate and establishment advice from the cosmopolitan bureaucrats and corporations, Germany allowed 1.5m illegal migrants to invade their country, without any knowledge of German, or any requirement whatsoever. Many illiterate, downright stupid people, criminals, terrorists, among regular people were welcomed without any verification of their actual upbringing and whereabouts. These migrants cost about $100B in the first 4 years of integration, and most of them never, ever got a job. But they sure got their welfare checks and had free housing and free food. These migrants cost Germany's top position of the EU as becoming one of the biggest wreck in the Western World, at risk of collapsing at any moment. The Corporatists thought bringing in 1.5M people in a year would bring the wages down and bring profits up for their corporations... Well these migrants never went to Germany with the intent to work or to integrate. The multiculturalist politicians thought bringing 1.5M people in a year would bring diversity. It did. It brought events like the massive rapes of Cologne, where 1000 women were sexually assaulted by migrants. Now their economy is going to sh*t. And I'm just there, describing in my living room on my laptop, what happened to the EU's top power to become the huge mess it is.

  13. Bruce Bawer is a journalist and writer who has written extensively about how the media in Europe has undermined freedom of speech, out of fear of Muslim reprisal. The riots over the Mohammed cartoons are the best example of this and I don't think most people understand how it impacted democratic freedom of speech. For many Western supporters of Islam, freedom of speech must take a backseat to Muslims feeling offended. I don't think they have fully thought this through to its logical end. Freedom of speech has allowed religion to be criticized - rightly so. Sharia law insists that Islam is not to be criticized and to do so means death. A lot of mainstream media is towing the Islamic line. It's interesting to watch how every time there's a major terrorist act, the media is quick to call in the "backlash ploy." - innocent Western Muslims suddenly fear a "backlash" - neatly shifting focus away from real acts of violence against non-Muslims by Muslims, to imaginary acts of violence, again making Muslims the victims in even the terrorism they themselves commit. Victimhood is huge in Islam. This is what the Palestinians are doing.

  15. It's really pathetic how weak their candidates are. That's why CNN is pushing the "all Republican voters are racists" and "Republicans force immigrants to drink from toilets" BS so hard. It's literally all they have. Side note, if they're successful, and they manage to get Elizabeth Warren elected, would America have their first Commander in Chief who's really a Chief

  16. Wrong again. If you have a strong enough military then you don't get attacked. Would Canada attack the US? Nope. Not even if we wanted to (explain that to Bastile John). It would be suicide. Would Iran attack Canada if they were our neighbour instead of the US? Yup. All the women in this country would be wearing hijabs and those of us who didn't convert to islam would be dead or enslaved. If you don't understand these kinds of things that's ok, not everyone does. We'll just take your opinion fwiw.

  17. Another huge Trump rally...this time in the solid blue state of Hew Hampshire. Record crowds in attendance beating Elton John and a few other major stars in that regard. I personally counted over 300,000 watching the rally on 6 different live streams. Joe Biden also had a rally...his biggest so far with a few thousand in attendance. The pundits said 6,000...but realists said much lower than that. No other Democrat candidate has come close to Joe re: crowds. KAG 2020...Dems have a BIG hill to climb.

  19. Denmark and Greenland were not happy with Trump's suggestion that the USA would buy Greenland; a bit in the same as as they bought Alaska. I can't blame them. Besides, very condescending towards the Greenlanders. However, even though the idea was never good to begin with let's pause for a thought about it. You in Canada have a similar Inuit area in the north. It has been studied that the Inuits in Greenland under the Danish system are better off than the Inuits living in Canada. Imagine if the Greenlanders who are used to the Danish welfare-system all of a sudden had to cope with a US-system. Besides, even though Trump is rich he isn't that rich that he could afford to buy entire countries.

  23. Evidently you don't understand what corruption is. Proroguing parliament? Honestly!? Nor is Nigel Wright trying to use his own money to pay back what that idiot Duffy did because it was embarrassing the government corruption. It was just dumb. As for the contempt of parliament, that was nothing but a shit vote for political purposes. It didn't involve any kind of corruption. It involved the opposition desperately digging for any and all information it could use to embarrass the government, and acting indignant when some of it wasn't forthcoming fast enough. The only reason it was unusual is that when the opposition can outvote the government it usually brings that government down. The three midgets of the opposition were just trying to embarrass the government. Using your office to pressure the prosecutor to change her decision on prosecuting friends of yours for obvious and repeated crimes, on the other hand, definitely is.

  25. Oliver's column basically said that warming was inevitable and we should be doing something to prepare for that instead of puffing out our chests and bragging about how great our emissions reductions will be. He said the economy would benefit, which is good, because without a strong economy a government lacks resources to manage problems like this.

  26. It's shocking to see how people can fall victim to propaganda to the point where they just believe something is true even after it has been proven wrong, well beyond a shadow of doubt. Right now the Dems in the States and the Liberals in Canada are taking a beating on policy and performance issues so they're turning to racial division for votes. It's pathetic. They've invented the great white bogeyman to scare part of the population into voting for them, and to shame the rest into voting for them. I just never see or hear people talking about coloured folks being a problem, ever. Whiteness and colour is not a factor with conservative voters anywhere in North America. Liberals and Democrats are constantly bringing race into every discussion and their divisiveness is taking a huge toll on the overall level of public discourse. Thank god that Americans rejected the hate in their 2016 election. It's time for Canadians to step up and get rid of the corrupt, divisive, hateful Liberals.

  32. Not unprecedented...as you aptly point out, this is not the first time Trudeau has violated provisions in the Conflict of Interest Act. I'm not sure what's more bewildering, Trudeau's willful contempt for moral integrity and dismal ethical standard, or the voters who are still defending his actions and supporting him despite such corruption. One thing's for sure, if Canadians vote to give him another mandate, its' not on Trudeau....it's on Canadian voters. Can't plead ignorance this time around.

  33. Well guess what? A study done by the Public Policy Forum has discovered the greatest source of fake news in Canada! It's the mainstream media! According to the report, those who get their news from mainstream outlets are more likely to give incorrect answers to questions about basic governmental policy issues. “Survey respondents who read or watched more traditional news media were less likely to express uncertainty about policy questions than those with low consumption, but more likely to give an incorrect response,” it says. When asking respondents to reply to statements on central policy issues like the environment, immigration and the economy, those with a high amount of traditional media consumption gave nearly twice as many incorrect answers than those with low traditional media consumption. https://www.thepostmillennial.com/mainstream-media-main-sources-misinformation-report/

  34. I think the only reason the UN is so pointless and useless is that so many human beings simply can't stand the thought of being united. It's just to progressive - ergo too much like communism - for the usual suspects to ever put their hearts into it. It would almost make more sense to let it become a conservative organization and then try to change the system from within after the idea has planted firmer roots. OTOH that might just as easily make us drive off the cliff even faster. Either way, pass the popcorn.
