That's just stupid, and everyone knows it's stupid, even you.

You need to sit back and take a look at all the legitimate criticisms of islam and the demonrats and then compare that to the list of actual GOP flaws...

The first things you scream about are:

  1. a ridiculous r4pe accusation from an unknown year in the mid-90's, and
  2. Epstein documents that Joe Biden and his DoJ had access to for 4 years, which they did nothing with

Now you like to say that the Iran war is illegal, they posed no threat, etc.

It's all just stupid.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

Obviously no one is in favour of that. I am personally against it 100%. It would make America no better than Pakistan or Gaza.

Your post makes no sense, and has nothing to do with Russia.

Have you finally lost it?

Suppose what is the real concern is the realization that a 80 y/o senile, vindictive, shallow, thin skinned leader of the so-called 'Free' world controls the nuclear codes for the most destructive arsenal the World would never live thru.

Oh,, and his headshop abase themselves constantly - don't expect them to talk truth to power ....... that's hilarious.

What's next, tac-nuc?

Ukraine is also attacking infrastructure in Russia, it's tit for tat.

Iran is trying to do the same thing to Israel, but this is disproportionate on a massive scale.

Ukraine is also committing war crimes just as fast as Russia is, stop being such a weasel. They actually started committing war crimes before the "war" started.

What's stupid is you don't know the meaning of "imminent threat" and the FACT that it's required to wage war without Congressional approval

Quote
An "imminent threat" in the context of U.S. war powers generally refers to a situation where an adversary is about to launch an attack, requiring immediate defensive action to prevent it. While Article I of the U.S. Constitution grants Congress the exclusive power to declare war, the President, as Commander-in-Chief (Article II), has historically claimed the authority to use force without prior congressional approval to repel sudden attacks or address these urgent, imminent threats. [1, 2, 3]
What Constitutes an "Imminent Threat"
  • Definition: Historically, this meant an immediate, impending attack where no time existed for congressional deliberation (e.g., enemy forces positioned to strike).
  • Shifting Standards: In recent decades, executive branches have sometimes expanded this definition to include "anticipatory self-defense" or "anticipatory attacks," broadening the interpretation beyond the traditional, immediate temporal urgency.
  • Legal Standing: Under the War Powers Resolution of 1973, the President can introduce forces into hostilities without prior authorization only in response to a "national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces". [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
The Role of Imminent Threat in Unauthorized War
  • Constitutional Constraint: The Founders designed the system so the president could repel sudden attacks, but Congress would authorize the "commencement" of war.
  • War Powers Resolution Requirement: The 1973 Act, passed to curb executive war-making, mandates that in the absence of a declaration of war, the president must notify Congress within 48 hours of introducing forces into hostilities (or situations where such involvement is imminent).
  • Legal Precedent: The Supreme Court (e.g., in the Prize Cases) affirmed the president's right to act against "imminent" attacks "without waiting for any special legislative authority".
  • Controversy: Critics argue that recent presidents have sidestepped the Constitution by using "imminent threat" as a justification for military action that is actually a "war of choice" rather than immediate self-defense. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
While legal scholars debate the exact limitations, the consensus is that the President may only act unilaterally in defensive, emergency situations, whereas any prolonged or offensive campaign requires congressional approval

You mean anyone don't you? Free them by bombing Universities? By announcing to the whole world he will commit war crime?
Time to reign in the demented fool. Th regime change needed by this 'excursion' reveals it's one in Washington.

But of course Trump's bumboys on the forum still support his every move... subs who claim to be alpha males....

Oh, so you don't know what "indicted" means.

Fair enough. It's 3 letters past your max.

Trump threatens to wipe out a civilization tonight.

Likely code for the trappings by which we might define civilization to be civilized as opposed to an extermination level event. I'd predict that cooler heads will prevail and the action will be measured, proportional, and have defined military objectives.

Power grids and infrastructure are generally considered as part of any pre-strike collateral damage assessment (CDA). And here's something liberals and Trump haters in the crowd might be slobbering over right now... deliberately destroying Iran's national grid may (if pursued indiscriminately) qualify as a war crime depending on how individual targets are defined.

A bit beyond my pay grade actually but civilian infrastructure is generally protected... strikes  would generally have to show that they were in support of military objectives and proportional to achieving them. Indiscriminate attacks that knowingly plunge the civilian population into blackout and deprive them of essentials (like medical care for instance) are problematic assuming they are (or could be) deemed indiscriminate and cause deliberate depravation and hardship to the civilian population.

Lot's of compassionate Democrats will be making popcorn this evening....  I look forward to Robos thoughtful analysis of the events.
