Regime change often goes sideways real fast, and you can bet that China and Russia are not happy about this in the slightest and won't be afraid to provoke agitation. History has shown that you can go from hail or glorious us liberators to kill the capitalist running dogs extremely fast if things aren't handled well. My guess is that america will do its own version of the UN oil for food program and will hunt around for an 'interim' leader to take over who's willing to sign a long term oil deal favorable to the us.
