In Canada the vast majority of refugees are here permanently and are there for immigrants

Oh look I can post a dictionary definition of one thing and a personal opinion on another and appear to make an argument.

The point was that the son that survived was NOT an immigrant he was born in Australia.
And while I could support denying entry permits to pregnant foreigners near their due date, I would never support denying citizenship to someone born here to a landed immigrant. That's an extreme extension of utter bigotry.

Usually you just spoke nonsense and pretend that's an argument. Actually including dictionary definitions would be a major step up for you :)

I'm sorry that Webster's Dictionary is beyond your comprehension skills, but the fact of the matter is a person who comes to this country with the intent to stay permanently is an immigrant. Vast majority of refugees in Canada are immigrants.

I am aware that your brain cannot hold two concepts at the same time so I see where this is confusing. He probably need to take a nap

The imported terrorists are now uttering threats toward new years eve celebrations.

But we are supposed to be quilted into importing more Islamic terrorists.

It still should be very concerning that the son, who was born in Australia, was radical enough that he chose to do what he did.

Muslims(not all), can be and are being radicalized on Western soil.

And there were some Joe Whiteman types that ran off and joined ISIS too. But overlook that too in order to paint all immigrants as undesirables if it suits you.

Use the brush for painting the fence and wonder why your rendition of the Mona Lisa sucks.

No problem, you point out the ones that are safe and the ones that are dangerous and we'll just worry about the dangerous ones.

Otherwise they can all go but thank god we've got you here to tell us which are which.

2017 - snuck across the border illegally

2018 - refugee claim denied

2019 - appeal denied

2020-2025 - chillin' in Toronto on taxpayer's dime

2025 - arrested for trying to kidnap Jewish women at gunpoint and immediately released on bail

Go ahead, all you far-left radicals.  Defend and support this.  While your wives and daughters live in fear.

Explain to us all why you want THIS guy out on the street, but the convoy people in jail.

No.

Can you at least admit that muslim societies are built on a somewhat amoral foundation? And by somewhat, I mean 95% amorality...

Are you aware of the aspects of sharia law that are 100% amoral?

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

I think most lefty radicals know there are aspects to Sharia Law that are amoral.

Their argument they give is that the majority of Muslims don't want those parts of Sharia.  Which is not true.

Look at the 57 Muslim/Sharia ruled countries (I guess Iran is the exception right now - Goooooo, Iranians!!) and the instituting of Sharia Law in parts of the UK, which now deny women rights that British Law grants them.

It's not either/or.

If you're a conservative who believes in law and order, you want them both in jail.

Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase !

Notice how carefully ambiguous this response was crafted.

-The use of an "If"
-No reference to what Michael actually thinks on the subject
-No response to the fact the person was there illegally, had his status as a refugee revoked, and is still in the country. So... what about deportation?

Well done sir. Well done!

This could be an entire thread.

It was the predictable result of allowing demographic concentrations to grow (meaning fester) within the relative isolation of ethnic enclaves. It takes the form of "Sharia Councils" where participation is "voluntary" and it passes muster as a dispute arbitration process. Given the population density of some jurisdictions though, I see little hope of changing this without draconian action.

Here's the rub though: not long ago the Herbs of the world ridiculed the very idea that this would happen, now they defend it as being culturally sensitive and voluntary. Well, it's not really voluntary within that community.

What Herb doesn't see is the fact that even as he defends it, he has no other choice but to defend it... these councils are here to stay and his opinion has now been rendered irrelevant... just like the ones he used to ridicule.

As to cancellations based on threat assessments expect more to come. I noted in the piece above that drone attacks received honourable mention and that's the only reason I'm even commenting on it. It's good to see that those in charge are reading and heeding the assessments though. Conservative minded folks won't like it, but they're doing the right thing here IMO.

It's unfortunate...  but I would be cancelling some of these celebrations too and for the same reason. At present there is insufficient awareness and deployable countermeasures in place to defend against it. Explosive solutions are the next phase in this scenario, they're cheap, easy and horrific. It's going to catch Herb by surprise when it happens (same as the the Sharia law thing) because he's too busy grabbing shotguns from duck hunters. It's a matter of perspective... and Herb has none.
