I retract my statement. We can't prove anything. But we can predict. 

Yes, there are extreme claims and unfounded predictions. 

But we have to look past that.

It's not climate science that's making extreme claims about effects, that's a tertiary phenomenon from people who are activists and so on.

We're talking about temperature readings from all kinds of sources, all over the world. And the data is open.
