In what percentage of countries over there do you find people who are discriminated against? Probably the same percentage where you find people are not discriminated against.

In either case I'm betting you'll find many if not most of the 20% you're taking about in Israel find themselves being discriminated against pretty regularly. Heck even Jews accuse Jews of anti-Semitism in Israel.

There are various branches of Judaism. The Jewish taliban being one of them (Ultra-Orthodox). But unlike most other Arabs, the ones in Israel have a vote, and can run for office, and can appeal to an independent judiciary and a free press. They also serve in the military (though unlike Jews, they are not required to) and the police.

Hamas knew it had no chance of defeating Israel militarily. That was never the goal behind Oc 7. The goal was just this, to provoke an attack, to hide in their tunnels, to continue to fight as the IDF smashed things above ground and killed a whole bunch of civilians.Which, as you know, is the inevitable result of military operations in a heavily built-up urban area. And it's worked beautifully for them.

They don't care about the destruction. And they certainly don't care about the deaths. What they care about is persuading the world to hate Israel and Jews like they did. And it's going great. With the help of a propaganda effort by Iran and Qatar, the weak minds of the western left, and the laziness and leftist mentality of the media in the West they've succeded in turning Israel into a hated word among many in the West, and forced Western governments, especially the ones led by the left (which is almost all of them) who are beholden to Muslim and progressive voters to condemn and sanction Israel.

So yes, Hamas has absolutely won. They've got shifty-eyed, spineless leaders like Carny,  Macron, and Starmer talking about recognizing a nation that has never existed and whose leaders are terrorists.

So yes, the attack on Oct 7 worked. Which is why they promise to repeat it as soon as possible.
