They're more like a territory that everyone forgets the name of.

Nunavit? And the whatty what? And what are the capitals again? And what's that crime riddled territory down south again...? The United States of Suthern Canada? (We will be magnanimous enough to let them take the O out of southern)

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

Seriously though, that was a really tight game. Could have gone either way. Binnington made an amazing save on Brady.

That was a good tournament. Far better and more emotional than the all-star game.  I kinda miss Russia at these international things though.

One of the best hockey games ever played. The outcome could have gone either way.

"Best" meh :)

As could every overtime game in every sport :)

Hey, a deal's a deal.

I, personally, am ready to embrace my future Canadian roots.

You will have to wait until late spring, still frozen solid.

Well played and clean. Wish all hockey could be like this. Glad the refs let a few obvious penalties go and let the players decide it.

Reminds me of the 2010 Olympics when sid the kid brought it home. The streets went insane it was like an instant ad hoc 10,000 person parade.

It's a win that Canada needed right now.  A win that will inevitably p*ss off trump and not help us in the slightest and negotiations But one we needed nonetheless

Trump is a small, petty, vindictive pr*ck but I doubt it will make any difference. The world is fast realizing he is dangerous and hockey is the least of it.

This is a man who spent a  year obsessing and freaking out over someone saying he had small hands.

He personally called the team, He made a big announcement about it and tied it to his whole '51'st state" gimmick.

Newspapers across the world are laughing about trudeau's reply and noting sneers from premiers, and even americans who blame trump for the loss.

He invested a decent amount of political capital in it and they're rubbing it in his face.  I absolutely positively 100 percent guarantee he's furious :)

But we still needed to do it.
