Is it really? We're talking about a self-confessed sex criminal, con-man and fraudster whose primary consideration in the nominating process has been personal loyalty.

Who would be more loyal than a like-minded perv with a closet full of skeletons and no other options?

But the DOJ didn't charge him.

And if all of these allegations were true, wouldn't that mean that Gaetz is a Republican version of Hunter Biden? The same Hunter Biden that was portrayed as a poor victim by the media?

Hunter Biden was never elected to office, especially in the House of Representative. Nor was he nominated for the Attorney General position.

Hunter Biden-'Smartest person I know" and with 24/7 access to the president. The claim that Hunter is just an average, ordinary citizen is laughable.

The Democrat controlled DOJ did not end up charging Gaetz after the investigation. Doesn't that seem odd IF all those allegations were true?

So the same people that cried "there is no proof" of Joe Biden fleecing our enemies for cash while there were bank transfers, text chains, emails, videos, business partner testimony and so much more are now crying guilty when the DOJ investigated and declined to prosecute Matt Gaetz. But, the house ethics committee started a report under Pelosi and then McCarthy wouldn't stop it because Gaetz didn't vote for him, so that is gospel, true, undeniably Trump's fault.

Trump did not have the House ethics report.

From everything I have seen, the speculation is that Matt got Trumps ear before anyone else did, and guess what? Trump ditched him like a week later.

This is a good thing. Trump makes bad decisions; Trump corrects bad decisions. I celebrate that and hope he keeps that up.

Nobody gets 100% of their nominees and Gaetz was lacking in tactics. Maybe Trump did it to dump Gaetz. Maybe not. Either way, the house won't have the same problems they had under Joe. Matt was a net negative during that time. Maybe McCarthy wasn't the right speaker, but what Matt did harmed our cause.

Prosecute Gaetz for what?  You can’t prosecute someone for having done drugs in past and as far as I know you can’t prosecute someone for having paid for sex in the past. Having sex with a 17 year old is also legal AFAIK.

The rest of your post about “Biden fleecing enemies for money” and there being definitive proof of such is just more of your nonsense.  The people taking money from America’s enemies are the Putin acolytes on team Trump

It’s just proof what a basket of deplorables the MAGAs are and how Trump was going to make this scumbag the AG. Gaetz’s misconduct has been well known for a long time, especially in Trump’s home state of Florida. One of his buddies went to jail for trafficking underage girls in a case where Gaetz had been implicated.  Just goes to show Trump doesn’t care what scumbags his appointees are and even if you want to buy the claim that Trump was somehow completely ignorant it still shows he’s not even doing basic due diligence on his reckless appointments.

You're still crying.

Why are you still crying?

Gaetz has stepped down and you're still crying.

Tell me something, snowflake, when will you hypocrites stop crying? Will you ever stop crying?

Trump has already started with lawsuits, so I guess that's reason for you to cry, but still...

Having sex with a 17 year old is legal, as I believe the age of consent in most states in 16. However, paying a girl under the legal age for sex is very illegal. It is the same thing in Canada. It's called child prostitution, and  carries harsh penalties:

"The legal age of consent is 18 years for sexual activity involving prostitution or pornography or where it involves a relationship of trust, authority or dependency, or one that is otherwise exploitative of the young person. The legal age of consent for all other sexual activity is 16 years.

Convictions in Canada carry severe penalties of up to 14 years' imprisonment as well as mandatory minimum prison sentences."

It’s not a crime to consume drugs. You have to be caught with them in your possession.   That’s why people openly talk about past drug use without getting arrested. Similarly I think it’s hard to prosecute someone for soliciting prostitution if you don’t actually catch them with the prostitute or at least a record of communication.

Oh and I stand corrected it seems while 16 is age of consent in Florida, it is also illegal for anyone over age 24 to have sex with anyone under age 18. But like drug use and prostitution its hard to prosecute after the fact without direct evidence.

They did secretly meet with Russians to discuss mutually beneficial arrangements, they did lie about those meetings, and they did obstruct the investigation. And some had secret financial dealings with Russian oligarchs and intermediaries including laundering dirty Russian money in the case of Manafort. And in their public statements they are kinder to Putin than to Ukraine. Those are all facts.

Gaetz is a bad man because he’s a known scumbag all on his own. Trump is a totally separate scumbag. But birds of a feather flock together.

How do you consume the drugs without possessing them? And yes, it is illegal to consume them.

(d) “Illegal use of drugs” defined (1) In general  The term “illegal use of drugs” means the use of drugs, the possession or distribution of which is unlawful under the Controlled Substances Act [21 U.S.C. 801 et seq.]. Such term does not include the use of a drug taken under supervision by a licensed health care professional, or other uses authorized by the Controlled Substances Act or other provisions of Federal law.

I didn't misrepresent anything and your evidence is all rumor and speculation. My evidence is hard evidence.
