I don't believe any of the war on climate change nonsense.  Biggest lie and scam in history.

I bet you'll switch gears and tout PP's plan when he finally gets around to it.

1. I'm a bit staggered by the amount of damage, polarization, and bogus wedge issues they have created in a short period of time. The NDP scares me too.

2. I absolutely cringe at the idea of safe supply, trans gender aggressiveness, immigration in excess of capacity, deliberately bogus constructs around the gun control issue, attacks on freedom of speech, and a bunch of other things that would fill an entire thread.

3. I think it's bad enough now... I absolutely don't want to see where they take it in the future. And to thwart those efforts the next time around, I want a bunch of the things I previously supported walked back and utterly crushed now.

1. Meh.  Such as it is, it's been reported everywhere.   Whether the govt. is right/left it doesn't matter.  It's media that is causing this IMO.

2. Only one of these things would have any significant impact on you, in all likelihood - immigration.

3. ?  Strange.  It's like you're angry at yourself.  And the rest of your post seems to be about your feelings, so I'll just leave your comments as a testimonial to your inner voices.

Sure, just wait, someone will be along soon enough to defend PP from my assertion that he's full of shit.

Who's they?

What we need to do is tax the rich to fund benefits to the population, not borrow money from them as the Liberals did. The Conservatives have always let the rich get richer, that's what Harper did, these crazy people like him believe that they are going to take this money to invest and create jobs, but you can't have an investment if the population doesn't have money to buy products and that's what happen when you take money from them,   It's a tactic that doesn't work and when he realized it, he was kicked out. The population needs money to buy, if they don't have any, you'll never have investments.

I'm hoping the next election proves to be a major upheaval in Ottawa, not unlike D.C. I wouldn't want to even hazard a guess as to what would happen under another Liberal Party. Our country will be truly gone if they succeed in being re-elected or, if an election is never called.

I wonder how many people know that when government reduces taxes, it's revenue actually increases? The more they tax, the less they get in return. Unfortunately, our current PM doesn't care about "monetary issues" which is obvious because he's taxing the hell out of us!!

His climate change policy is nonexistent. There's no reason whatsoever to believe he gives a damn about climate change or tackling Canada's emissions. His most vociferous supporters certainly don't and given the absence of any details from Poilievre I'll draw my conclusions about his intentions from the utterly complete disdain his supporters have for the issue.

Am I supposed to believe PP is lying to his constituents and he really does care?

Climate change? Lol...you Libbies. Always looking for dumb sh1t to be scared of.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

Why is PP talking about action on climate change  then? What's he afraid of?

You said 'His climate change policy is nonexistent"

Then you say "Why is PP talking about action on climate change  then? What's he afraid of?"

I know it's Christmas day and the eggnog is not as benign as you thought it was. But really.

Because he's provided no details according to the source provided.

He says Canada would rely on technology to tackle its greenhouse-gas emissions, but hasn’t provided further detail.

That's right, just talking about action isn't action or a policy.

He's talking about nuclear power and technology and making use of our resources instead of trying to curtail the industries. Makes perfect sense.

Oh but it is action...to use our resources and technology.

What action would you like?

These puerile word games are plain dumb.

But... the oil people already vote for him. What is he going to do for the East to keep them happy?

Harper conveyed civility, and calm. He spent his way out of a recession the way liberals do. After many long years he was rewarded with a majority government. A pretty prize.

I can't see the road ahead. Can you?

he doesn't have to do anything for the rest right now there gonna elect him to a majority just cause he isn't trudeau lol.

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

That's right. I'll make it easier, do you think Poilievre gives a damn about climate change or not?

If not it doesn't say much about his high falutin' common sense economic bona fides if he's willing to see billions wasted on keeping up appearances for something so many of you don't give a shit about.

Shouldn't he simply come out and say he doesn't care, leave it at that and crunch back an apple anytime anyone raises the issue?

Is he afraid of being honest about it or something?

You don't get invited to parties. If you ask tough questions, you know...

In two party-systems the pendulum tends to swing from one side to the other after people become bored with the tweedledee in power and want tweedledum to become elected.

Usually two terms of one party in power makes people vote for the change for the sake of change. Only if the alternative is somehow completely unelectable does the governing party has any chance of winning a third term.

Not a major concern for many. Only a concern to those who have a need to latch on to amorphous social justice issues in an attempt to cloak their own failures. Who then try to browbeat everyone else into following their beliefs.

You don't like Poilievre, I get it, try your tactics on those with ears the size of a Marquee and cloth to boot.

I've already fixed climate change, I've been paying my carbon tax!!! Problem solved right?

I love that you're pretending that you care about the environment or climate change :)
