This might be of some help. I read the book "Hillbilly Elegy." (It was actually excellent.)

In one of the chapters, JD was at a very young age and for a while he was a little conflicted about his sexuality. He had heard about fags and somehow was worried that he was a f@g.

His grandmother (he referred to her as Mamaw) practically raised him, since his biological mother was a disaster of a human being. He told her he was worried that he might be gay.

In her typical Kentucky plainspoken style she asked "do you want to suck dick?"

He was immediately repulsed and the question was instantly answered in his mind.

The guy was raised in probably the TEXTBOOK version of low income hillbilly white trash. He makes no bones about it. His  biological mother had several husbands and several boyfriends. It is amazing that he didn't wind up a toothless mountain m0ron.

His grandmother was the one who pushed him to graduate high school, even as a lot of the boys around him were dropping out and going to work at the local mill. His grades were good enough for him to be accepted to Ohio State, but he didn't think he had the discipline to undergo that. And that was the reason why he enlisted in the Marines. They basically forced him to grow up and gave him the drive for college.

Somehow, I don't think a plainspoken man like Vance would allow a TV makeup artist anywhere near him with eyeliner.

I'm just looking for some kind of return to a normal public sphere, even if it's through a somewhat weird candidate who's faking his culture war credentials.

A non-viable newborn is, by definition, beyond saving. It should be made comfortable if needed and allowed to pass peacefully.

You are quite literally arguing for a so-called "born alive" law that was so extreme that it would, under threat of imprisonment, force health care providers to abandon all medical judgement, common sense and decency and pointlessly perform extreme intervention procedures on non-viable infants. 

And yes, we are talking about non-viable babies, because there are already laws protecting any viable person. Doctor's must render care and infanticide is homicide, already illegal under state and federal law. There is no such thing as a "post-birth abortion." Nowhere are they "executing" newborns. It's an entirely made up claim.
