Trump shot at his own rally

What goes around comes around. Strange how you don't recognize the level of Trump's hate speech, which is off the charts. You don't even understand how the MAGA CULT flys off its rocker every time Trump says "get em."

Does David DePape ring a bell in your head?

Are you justifying the assassination attempt?

This just happened in 2017...

Remember when the Dems and CNN were calling it humour when:

  1. Kathy Griffin put her severed-head effigy of Trump on social media
  2. Johnny Depp said that it might be time for another actor to assassinate a president
  3. Madonna bragged that she dreamed of blowing up the WH
  4. Maxine Waters shrieked to her supporters that they needed to get in the faces of opposition members and let them know that they're not welcome? (it was normal for Republicans to get harassed and threatened at restaurants for months after that)

Not long after that, Rand Paul was jumped from behind by an irate neighbour while he was out in his own yard and had some ribs cracked, AND AN ALT-LEFT SHOOTER WENT AND FIRED A BUNCH OF ROUNDS AT A CONGRESSIONAL BASEBALL GAME.

The Dems never took any accountability for any of that.

Then the Dems also said that protests at SCJ's homes were ok just recently(Biden said that).

Have RepubliCONS ever taken accountability for any of the MAGA CULT nut job attacks?

David DePape, the Ohio FBI office shooter, thousands of death threats against poll workers since 2020, just for starters. 🤮

Nice try you useless id10t.

The Dems cultists have openly talked about killing Trump in the past and the party all passed it off as humour. The dems themselves have also openly called for their supporters to "get in the faces of Republicans and let them know that they're not welcome". They've also said that protests at SCJ's homes are ok (Biden, the leader of the cult).

Name me a time when the official narrative of the GOP was "assassinate Biden/Obama/Clinton jokes are funny"?

When was the last time a Demonrat politician was shot at?

Ever hear of Gabby Giffords? Wasn't that long ago. 🤮

The Republicans HAVE helped to create this hateful environment. They aren't alone by far. The Left, especially those who call themselves 'progressives' have had a huge hand in it too. But Trump himself, just like Trudeau, loves to stoke the fires of resentment and division.

You completely missed the point.

This is not about who actually helped to create this hateful environment, it is about the obvious double standards in how the mainstream media and other pundits lay that blame on Republicans.

Remember Gabby Giffords?

I found this very odd myself. The first thing the secret service do when scoping out venues is see how many high places can get a shot at where the protected will be. They change all kinds of things like the positioning of the stage to minimize those places, and then they guard them. The last time anyone got a shot at a SS protectee with a long gun was Kennedy, and he was in an open-topped moving car, impossible to protect. I don't think it's happened before then, though I don't have perfect knowledge of US history.

This was a huge security breakdown.

Bobby Kennedy was shot with a 22 handgun. Not sure he had SS protection, though. Could have been before candidates got that.

If it were the other way around MAGA would be telling us it’s a false flag conspiracy

Yep, I wouldn't be shocked if they did that anyway, just out of habit.

“Always dial it up to 11” has the been standard MAGA M.O.

For real. While this is a broader trend too (negativity bias, click-baity alarmism, etc), I was real amused by the irony of listening to some guy being interviewed--a man who voluntariliy chose to attend a donald trump rally--solomley declaring afterwards that America needs to stop with all the heated rhetoric.

If that shooter was aiming to disrupt Trump, he just gave Trump's campaign steroids and cocaine at the same time.

I'm sure Trump will try to play the martyr, but he's got too much baggage for wide appeal on that.

Tonight while out for dinner I overheard some cnn watchers say that they wished the bullet stuck a few inches over.

CNN and MSNBC should be treated no different than Radio Rwanda who incited mass genocide in the 1990s

You must be confusing them with FOS LIES which continually stokes violence by the right.

Yep plenty of people can see the parallels between rise of MAGA and rise of fascism in pre-war Europe: Religious/cultural traditionalism, immigrant scapegoating, attacks on feminism, attacks on the mainstream media (the MAGAs were even using the nazi word “Lugenpresse” during the 2016 campaign but it fell out of favour after Charlottesville) lies and conspiracy theories, belief in am infallibile “Great man,” and that ONLY HE AND HE ALONE can save uS, and of course the Great Man must have unlimited power and authority impose his will and persecute the Hated Ones and anybody else that stands in his way.

You forgot the stoking of religious bigotry. Muslims in Trump's case.

If the FBI was part of this security detail they'd automatically become suspect in the minds of anyone who's been paying attention.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

Kamala didn't get where she is because of her achievements or anything that came out of her mouth.

How about telling rally attendees to "beat the shit out of em" if any pulls out a tomato?

I think the Nazarene would forgive that

bear in mind that Paul the Apostle was once Saul of Tarsus;  an actual mass murderer of Christians

This will not require much of an update to his stump speech. The whole movement is already based on a victim complex. The radical left immigrant commie trans furries were definitely on the roof--regardless of whatever the truth of the criminal's motives ends up being.

No. I can't abide by dangerous rhetoric that nearly killed a presidential candidate. You are as responsible as Joe. And what you said was disgusting. It has no place here. It has no place any where. Maybe it should even be reported.

Which is NOT AT ALL, TROLL. Report away, a-hole.

My "rhetoric" had NOTHING TO DO with tonight's incident and neither did Joe's.

You just can't face the FACTS that Trump has been inciting violence among the MAGA CULT for YEARS NOW.

You ever heard of David DePape? Or all the death threats against poll workers?

Trump and Biden are both traitors to the republic, and many people serving the House and Senate.  Power over country.  We're here arguing over our favorite traitor.
