Yeah. Great idea. Use a type of glove that some people are highly allergic too and then have them injest the food with no idea they've been exposed. Let's see how that goes.

BTW, you don't touch fries when you prepare or serve them, so gloves would provide zero protection.

Due to some unfortunate misunderstandings with regarding his instructions, during Herbie's employment at McDonald's, though extremely brief, He was under the impression you were supposed to reach in and grab the fries with your hands.

I'm putting this here because it's a real-life picture of a meme that NRA types call a "Fudd meme". 

There's so much wrong with that photo it's hilarious. 

They're shooting at can 20 feet away with a center-fire rifle ffs. That's like using a freight train to take your kid to school. That's even a close shot for a rimfire gun, or a pellet gun. A pellet pistol from that range, sure. It's basically useless anyways.

Then there's the fact that he's using the James Webb telescope to shoot that far.

He doesn't have the rifle butt seated in his shoulder, and at no point would a real shooter ever have it situated that high. With that huge scope on there, and the rifle being held like that, he could easily end up with the scope coming back and hitting him in the eye. He looks like he never fired a rifle before. 

I'd never put a scope like that on an assault-style rifle, but that's just me. Some do, I just think it's lame. Any self-respecting American would have an ACOG on that.

well in fairness a lot of guys do hunt with ar style rifles and similar,  so it might be a long range gopher or yote/wolf rig and he's just screwing around or something.

You see people in fast food wearing clear plastic gloves all the time. It isn't to protect the worker it's to keep them from contaminating the food. Maybe hygiene standards are lower in the US.

Or you could wash your hands. I realize for you that would involve  taking a shower which means you could only work at McDonald's based on your current habits one day out of the year

Not only that, as every nurse and doctor in the world will tell you most people don't know how to take their gloves on or off. They wind up contaminating the gloves without meaning to and are blissfully unaware.

Washing your hands properly is still the best choice

He's the one that said latex gloves were what had to be worn. I was pointing out how stupid latex would be and that the lack of contact with the fries means it isn't necessary to wear any protection.

Washing your hands properly is still the best choice

TBH, those gloves are good for standing in one spot, doing one thing, for a limited amount of time, but after that they're useless. 

They rip easily, it's harder to wash them than real hands, and they gather bacteria just as quickly as your hands do.

The notion that a checkout girl could handle all the items from the person in front of you, then yours, then those of the person behind you, and not transfer germs among you all is absurd, gloves or no.

Covid was an exercise in obedience, that's it. Bark, woman. Now snitch on someone. Now force your children to take the vax. Good girl. You can eat in restaurants now. Just try not to die within 6 days of taking the vax.

Most of the gloves that you get out here in BC are the nitrile gloves, and they're latex-free.
