Canada contributed over 300 million dollars to Haiti in past couple years

Recommended Posts

"Since 2022, Canada has committed more than $300 million in international development, humanitarian and security assistance funding to Haiti. In addition, Canada is providing in-kind support worth $57 million to reinforce the HNP.  "

Canada announces $123 million in funding to improve security in Haiti - Canada.ca

Why is Canada throwing this kind of money to places like Haiti, the middle east, and other countries while Canada is so far in debt and we now in a housing crisis, failing health care system, and very high food costs?

Our military is reported by top experts to be in a "death spiral" for various reasons and has been underfunded for decades.

"The federal government reported a federal deficit of $1.13 trillion at the end of the 2021-2022 fiscacanadal year(opens in a new tab), an increase of 8.2 per cent from the previous fiscal year."

Probably 95% of this money was placed in the bank accounts of Canadian bureaucrats and the rest to pay for weapons to armed gangs in Haïti. Canada is the country the most corrupted in the world after USA. Overseas aid is just a pretext to steal money to canadians. You failed, nothing really went to people at Haïti.

Isn't this what Jesus would do - as per the reference to the Supremacy of God at the very top of our Constitution?

I'm Maggie Blackamoor and I approve this message!

We don't need your opinion to unite Haiti with Canada, we need people to have children, we can't trust Canadians to do that, they are too busy counting their money, we can't than importing children, who will take care of us when we are too old. And you can tell Poilievre to go to hell, he never ask for a cease fire in Gaza. He can tell he will reduce tax, this criminal won't buy my vote,

Those who pay, Canada and the U.S. want to have their henchmen in place, and Canada and the U.S. are nothing but rotten governments that are responsible for the current situation. I have a plan to get rid of corrupt governments, get rid of money, are you ready to support me

Good to know.

What's that got to do with helping to restore order in Haiti?

Not much.  You asked what Jesus would do and I answered.

By implying He'd leave Haiti on its own because he's right wing. You still left the question about what His or anyone else's ideology has to do with it hanging unanswered.

Jesus didn't get involved in politics and the Roman Empire.  That was not his purpose.

Sounds like you are trying to invent a debate.

Canada squandered over 300 million dollars on Haiti in last couple of years and continues to do so.  Canada squanders hundreds of millions of dollars all over the world while Canada is desperate to have a proper health care system and other things.  What is the matter with this government?  It gets a failure on almost everything.  That is what the topic is about.

You won't have a difference with the conservative party, it is rotten as well. The police is in charge to cross out documents prooving the corruption.

Just partaking in the one you started and I know both religion and ideology are very important to you.

You've made it clear religion has nothing to do with it so it comes down to ideology and apparently your wallet.

So what about the next government? We're bring told it will succeed at almost everything. If that turns out to be the case is it fair to say you're not completely ruling out help for Haiti?

In the meantime, our allies are discussing how to help so what are we to do? Plead poverty and wring our hands until PP is elected?
