Trump should be disqualified - US Profs

Recommended Posts

Look that's why these pinheads like Trump. The man has no shame at all.

Anyone, anywhere else would have the decency to remove himself from politics until things are resolved and quietly retire into obscurity if he was not completely cleared.

You want a conspiracy theory? well how about one that Trump has collected more much dirt on other GOP candidates than J Edgar ever could have and that's why they're all acting like nutless chickenshits.

I didn't miss it. In FACT I referenced it when I wrote "DOUBLE TALK has fooled you just like the MAGA CULT listened to HIS OTHER STATEMENTS." Duh

Do you know what "double" and "other" means?

It's not double talk at all.. it just leftists doing what they always do.

I dont take "you got to fight for your right to party" to be literal do you?

He said "fight LIKE HELL." That is much more extreme than "peacefully."

He also said "stop the steal."  AKA disrupt the EC vote count and there's no way they could do that without violence.

Like I said, his DOUBLE TALK has fooled YOU.

See, that’s the problem: You’re defending inflammatory language by saying, “Gee, he didn’t really mean it. He was lying.”

Good for you that you think he speaks in secret code only known to The Faithful. But here’s the rub: The Faithful heard “The Secret Code,” then peacefully marched straight to the US Capitol, rioted, killed three police officers and stopped Congress from counting the electoral votes.  “But he was only joking and everybody understood The Code” doesn’t hold up well under that.

Yes, he said “peacefully.” One Time.

He also said that the election was stolen, they had to stop the steal, and if they did not, they would not have a country any more. And his lawyers then told the crowd that, yes, the election really was stolen, they could prove it, but corruption was preventing the true winner, Trump, from taking office.

They don’t have actual elections in China.

As for “MARCHING peacefully and patriotically,” they marched peacefully. Then they began to riot and Trump fiddled while the Capitol burned, so to speak.

It's about as much fault as bernie sanders being responsible for the lunatic who shot Steve scalice.

You want to see indicting riots and intimidation look no further than Schumers comments which got the looney tunes all riled up to harass Supreme court justices or that loon Maxine Watters telling her supporters to get aggressive with Trump's cabinet

"Go with me to the Capitol right now and stop the steal or you won't have a country."

^^yeah, can't imagine how that lead to an attack. Such a casual remark. Who knows what it means?

Governor Kemp (R) says otherwise.

The MAGA CULT KNEW. That's why Trump assembled them there that day carrying spears and wearing body armor.

A new case is being made that he should be disqualified at federal and state levels, due to section 3 of the 14th amendment which bars insurrectionists.

This is a new vulnerability for him, because you would really only need a swing state judge to disqualify him to make an impact overall.

Nothing has been proven yet re Trump himself.

Innocent until proven guilty is how it works in free society.

Yet they are panicking that he may run again, and win, by the will of the people.

They are sore afraid.

Yes, me too.  Canadians should be, all of us, and perhaps Americans too.

If found guilty I suspect some states will proceed to disqualify him from the ballot.

While criminal liability would be helpful to make the case, all that's necessary in many states is a ruling from an elections committee that he's not qualified to hold the office.

No, “they” are people who prosecute criminals.  “They” have established that probable cause exists that crimes occurred. “They” convinced four grand juries and at at least four judges that probable cause exists.

It's all theoretical. Who would even bar Trump from running again? The Supreme Court? The Constitution is murky.

As detailed in the other thread on this, states' election commissions headed by their SoS decide who is QUALIFIED to be on the ballot.

IF the disqualified candidates disagree, they can challenge the decision IN COURT. Nothing "theoretical" about it. The language of the Constitution is clear, even if the criteria for determining "insurrection" is not specified. There are DEFINITIONS, and Trump CLEARLY FITS THEM.
