indeed but they do

and the Democrats have done it more often than Republicans have

so don't go around pretending like it's behavior unique to Republicans

and if you're going to bash Republicans for it

try bashing the Democrats for it every now and then too

unless you want to come across as a Democrat shill who only cares about the standard when Republicans don't live up to it

I don’t know of any Republican claiming that there was voter fraud in Alaska.   so you’re arguing against something that I never said!  LOL

You told the poster who is making the claim to “get a grip”….

You’ve invented a narrative in your head!

you constantly bring up Republicans claims of Democrats cheating in 2020

yet you never bring up Democrats claims of Republicans cheating

the narrative is real

This guy below explains perfectly how the ranked choice voting system worked in Alaska and how easy it is to game it if you're a Democrat. Kiss Alaska goodbye if they ever continue this into the general, Republicans. Doesn't matter if Alaska is over 60% Republican:

Why would they do that? Again, the way I heard it the RINOs pushed it. Thought it was "Progressive" I guess.

I'm not really interested interested in the fact that Palin lost. It's that this election used the Ranked Choice Model.

The Dem was able to win with 40% of the popular vote. Sound familiar?

This is kind of the only way Conservatives can win in Canada these days. With the Dippers and Liberals splitting the Left vote.

Not quite. Dippers are going to choose mostly Libs as their alternate. Greens are going to choose NDP or Lib. How much will Cons gain from Bernier's supporters and Christian Heritage? Not enough!

Though an STV result would more accurately reflect the will of the people than FPTP

That Alaskan election seems to have been conducted in an unusually good spirit:

www.businessinsider.com

Sarah Palin complimented Mary Peltola as 'a real Alaskan chick' in texts after the Democrat beat Palin in a special House election

Congresswoman-elect Mary Peltola said she feels 'fraternity and comraderie' with the opponents she defeated and will face again in November.

Political opponents do not have to be enemies.

Ranked voting doesn't make the choice of leader or society more "democratic". It just confuses everyone.

To their benefit, people like Coyne make life complicated for the rest of us.

With all that said, I tend to agree with Michael Moore: an unknown woman running as a Democrat defeated a Republican with name recognition.
