That's literal/objective stupidity. When you invoke "cancel-culture" as a defense against something that idiotic, it proves how frivolously you throw the term around and how meaningless you make it. Like the boy that cried "Wolf", you resort to "WOKE CANCEL-CULTURE TOTALITARIANS" far too freely. Queenmandy85 Posted February 9, 2022 Report Posted February 9, 2022 Prime Minister Trudeau is pretty safe. With the CPC in chaos, the only threat to him is Jagmeet Singh. With the CPC's appeasement policy, they are giving every special interest group licence to create national deadlock this summer. Don't plan on getting anywhere. A Conservative stands for God, King and Country

His own decisions and actions, fuelled by arrogance and dictator tendencies. What’s the Canadian equivalent of impeachment?

Because they were being brought in fast from Africa? Slavery didn't end in the South until 1865...at the point of a gun. Plus if you know your history, slavery wasn't just an American problem. It's a global problem that still exists that you do absolutely nothing to stop. Thems the hard facts. Slavery is okay if it doesn't interfere with your politics. Either way, you can pretend that flocks of people slaving in fields is more efficient if you must...for whatever purpose you're trying to further. They aren't. Cotton, tobacco, sugar cane, etc were all about making money. And the smart money was on automation and modernization. So there it went. Nothing cracks a turtle like Leon Uris.

Yet there were more slaves in the country than ever, and growing. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7716878/ So was slavery really on the downturn? The data contradicts your assertion.
