Is Trudeau really a leader now, or is he exposed as a corporate lackey? He's killing Canadian jobs to satisfy foreign lobbyists and a couple of hereditary chiefs (who have no doubt been bought by foreign lobbyists), he's giving away far more money than we can afford just so that he personally looks good at the UN, he's onto his 5th ethics breech and he's already been found guilty once, he's shutting down investigations into his own malfeasance like he's Putin or the Ayatollah, he's firing people left and right who dare to stand up to him, and you're still a fawning sycophant of his??????? Incredible. She really thought she was running the show. That has not been proven in any way, JWR has not confirmed she said any of that...as CTV has said this might be another attempt to make her look bad, coming from the liberal caucus....or it just fell off the liberal bullshit truck.... 1 Quote We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. BTW, it is a safe bet that you are fine that SNC used gov't funding to bribe the foreign officers No I’m not fine with bribery or any of SNC’s misdeeds and those involved must be punished and the company fined. None of us know the specifics of the litigation, so it’s hard to properly assess qualifications and penalties. I’m quite confident that JWR wasn’t a team player for quite some time. Look, she will be fine. She’s a smart lady and will likely hold her seat in the next election, whether as an independent or in another party. Maybe she’ll get back into a cabinet role at some point, maybe deservedly, but I don’t think she was ready for prime time. You can’t play such havoc with your own party over a legal impropriety, demanding apologies, firings, and policy outside of your purview then expect the party leader and its faithful to make nice and carry on. She brought a machine gun to a duck hunt. Edited April 4, 2019 by Zeitgeist Quote

Ya, just another DPA . To tell you the truth, I believe in DPA. However, DPA does not apply to SNC case. First of all, unlike google, blackberry, M$ and others, SNC is as a gov't vendor, not an "economic grower". In addition, few thousand jobs (I highly doubt this) do not worth DPA. Then, this is clearly a political bribery. Edited April 4, 2019 by egghead Quote

No it does not, it is highly unlikely that any jobs will be lost, like I said already, CTV news released today regardless of the outcome of any conviction, SNC would not be frozen out of all Canadian contracts...there are still many contracts already out there such as ones that involve national security and more that they can bid on and are looked at as a Canadian solution so favored....SO ask yourself would they risk everything by moving out of the country....it was a bluff Lets not kid ourselves if SNC moved most if not all their employees would find work by the end of the week in other firms....
