Why does the Constitution not recognize private property?

No, I think in B.C. it is crown land or some of it might be under a timber licence but much of it close to towns is not being used for anything.  Just bushes while there is a huge shortage of homes for people.  But the government is ignoring the people and making it impossible for the towns and cities to expand as the population grows.  What does wanting the land to be available to the people as towns grow have to do with Communism.  Now you're being nonsensical.   Government interventionist policies is what is Marxism and there is plenty of it in Canada.  That's what makes housing so unaffordable.  That is why houses are 50% to double the prices of houses in the U.S.   Government control is a form of Marxism.

Another reason real estate prices are so high, particularly in Vancouver, BC, is because of foreign investment in real estate in Vancouver.  Rich people in China particularly like Vancouver as a place to safely invest their money where it is out of reach of the government.  There are even condos in Vancouver that are largely unoccupied because they are being used strictly as an investment to hold wealthy people's money.  All this while Vancouver is the most expensive real estate market in North America and third in the world.

It's hard to believe that there are plenty of those Chinese communist investors that are living in a communist country are that rich to be able to buy so much property outside of China for investment purposes. Of course, they could be card carrying members of the communist party and that would probably explain as to why they can buy property in the west.

If one is a part of the elite communist party establishment, and that one pays his/her dues, I guess there is plenty of freedom and flexibility for them to be able to do pretty much whatever they want to do. Just my opinion. ?

One reason why there are a lot of rich people in China and Hong Kong is back in the 1980s, I believe, the CCP leader decided that they needed to loosen up a bit and allow corporations to grow in China and the rest of the world.  That decision made a lot of people rich in the following years right up to today.  The CCP still retain ultimate control over these corporations, but it has brought a lot of wealth to China and made them a superpower economically and militarily.  But from what I read, the rich people in China know that their wealth is not safe in China because the party can decide to seize it at any time.  So they prefer to invest it abroad and Canada is a safe place to invest it.  Could also be a reason why there are 300,000 people living in Hong Kong who hold Canadian citizenship.  The come to Canada, obtain citizenship and many move back to Hong Kong.

China is Canada's second biggest trading partner, after the U.S.  The economic ties are deep.  This may be one reason why the Canadian government has been delaying a decision on banning Huawei 5G in Canada.  Canada's security branch I believe is concerned about all these things, but does not have much power to do anything.  It is really in the Liberal government's hands.

The ties between Canada and China are deep.  There are 140,000 Chinese students in Canada.  It is a big money maker for educational institutes.

I guess that it should be safe to say that China is really a capitalist country but with a communist party in control of the government and what will be allowed to go on in and outside of China. This is where I believe that Canada is heading today. A well planned takeover by the capitalist great reset big pharma globalists where when the takeover is complete Canada will appear to still be and look like a capitalist country but in reality it will become and be run by a bunch of capitalist globalists whom will be running Canada like a communist country. We the peasants will have no say in anything. Our rights and freedoms will be no more. It will probably be vaccines and masks forever.

This covid scamdemic was all just a part of the big pharma globalists plan to eventually take our rights and freedoms away from us. As long as this coivd scamdemic is allowed to proceed on things can only get worse for we the freedom loving peasants here in Canada. Today, Canadians have pretty much lost all of their freedoms and rights thanks to this covid scamdemic. Canadians cannot seem to be able to do anything anymore without a vaccine 666 passport.

What the hell is wrong with the majority of these Canadian bimbos anyways? How much longer are they going to continue to put up with this covid tyranny madness? If we all don't end this covid nonsense soon, we will all regret it.

These new immigrants that have immigrated to Canada and have now got their citizenship's should not be allowed to become Canadian citizen's, and then go back to their home countries of origin and live and work there. They should be living and working in Canada and not be allowed to enjoy the spoils that Canadians and Canada has to offer. Did these people come to Canada to live and work and become Canadian and help create new jobs? Obviously not. These people are making asses of Canadians and are mocking and laughing all the way to their foreign banks. They are contributing nothing to Canada. They are stealing from Canada. This needs to end. ?

Would all my property taxes be refunded with interest?

I doubt it.  The only reason we're free, in the end, is we can leave if the rules get too onerous or we can make noise.

Since the government is stealing from all of us, and we're not leaving well...

I wish you a pleasant and joyous holiday.

Yup it’s a flaw in our constitution.  The NDP wanted protection of property left out of Senior Trudeau’s Canuckistan. Canada is more vulnerable to falling under China’s control than most western countries (all?). Australia is militarizing as best it can.  The problem is that we are in bed with China both economically and educationally, through trade and through media, university, and government influence. Trudeau Castro won’t make any bold moves to fix it.  He admires China.

  • 2 weeks later...

Morocco just signed onto the One Belt, One Road programme - the first in Africa to officially capitulate.  To be fair, the battle for the resources of the Dark Continent began a very long time ago when the head of the KGB declared that: "the future of Mother Russia lies in the breadbasket of Southern Africa" or some translated words to that effect (Mikhail Gorbachev - who is actually a pretty good guy).  All of the Angolan and such wars in the Maghreb with lots of Cuban participation, etc. were part of the Communist version of globalization.   A VERY bright Deng Xiaoping (educated in France) knew enough of how the world works to free China from the horrible constraints of Maoism and use CCP authority to exploit the useful concepts of a Capitalist economy to unleash the massive productive capacity of the Chinese people.   CCP simply went back to the old school Communist ambitions and used capitalism as the ultimate weapon against capitalism - while the capitalist world greedily shifted their focus from adding value and creating wealth to Casino Capitalism where the aim is to redistribute wealth and increase the money supply without the bother of having to create any value.

Just wondering if anyone knows why the Canadian Charter of Rights does not include the right to own private property in Canada?  Was this deliberately left out for some reason?

Most certainly.  It's smoothing the pathway for a communist takeover with pillaging hordes of child eating savages.

There's no doubt that's the reason. Other than to annoy you.
