Derek 2.0 Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 I think they'd pull the ticket and run with Biden/Kaine There won't be any ticket pulling unless Clinton packs it in......and I can't see her willingly doing that. Just can't see her doing that though. I said the same thing earlier but then added that the possibility of a Trump presidency could be a game changer for even her. Personally I'm starting to think she really is sick. She was nowhere to be found for a good month before this happened. I don't like her but she's a way better candidate than Trump. This is very sad. BC_chick Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 Hopefully it was nothing. Argus Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 Hopefully it was nothing. No, hopefully it's something and she has to resign from the election, and they decide Joe Biden and Tim Kaine will be the ticket, and Trump drops twenty points back. BC_chick Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 Given the rest of my post I thought it was obvious I'm trying to make light of a bad situation. And as much as I'd love to see a Biden presidency, I still hope this is nothing for Clinton's sake. That shoe left behind was a sad sight. I feel very bad for her. capricorn Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 CNN resident doctor reported she's on the blood thinner Coumadin to treat a blood clot following another fainting episode she had in 2012. -TSS- Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 The situation is unbearable for her as even if she holds on until the election and wins it and even holds on until January when taking office there would be endless speculation about when her health fails and she has to resign. Quote

capricorn Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 Oh boy. Hillary's doctor now reports she was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday. This is bad considering that the blood thinner Hillary takes is supposed to work toward preventing blood clots traveling to the lungs. Her respiratory system is taking a beating. At her age all her ills are very worrisome. I wish her well. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/world/hillary-clinton-leaves-911-ceremony-after-feeling-overheated/article31819563/ Quote "We always want the best man to win an election. capricorn Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 Not sure what you are saying here, but blood clots and pneumonia are different things and I don't see a relationship between the two, if that's what you were getting at? I should have been clearer. No they are not the same but the two can be confused. Typical pneumonia symptoms include fever, chills, cough, chest pain and difficulty breathing. Some patients have additional atypical symptoms such as headache, muscle aches, nausea and sweating, which may make the diagnosis more difficult to recognize. Additionally, many individuals with ‘pneumonia symptoms’ are actually suffering from other illnesses. For example, heart failure and blood clots to the lungs can masquerade as pneumonia. Physicians must be diagnostic detectives! http://www.travelclinicsofamerica.com/diseases/pneumonia/ Any of those conditions are of particular concern for older individuals. -TSS- Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 It's ridiculous if Hillary holds on until the election, wins the election but resigns soon after taking office citing health reasons and that nobody VP-candidate of hers sneaks into presidency through the back-door. Quote

I admit, it did seem like a desperate ploy until today. Having said that, I'm not sure what you were expecting from her camp. msj Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 Again, with polls saying its this close, I just can't see her pulling out and forgoing her decades long pursuit of being the first women President. What polls? 538 has her at 70% chance of winning. This looks like 2012 all over again: conservatives surprised that the election was lost before they even had a chance to win it. Besides, Hillary looks badass campaigning from her deathbed.
