Trump had a positive message about the economy, taking on illegal immigration, and dealing with corruption.  The msm was the ones talking about podestas emails which we don't know the source of.  Nobody knows the source even though Russia, china, North Korea, and Steve from a basement in Silicon Valley continuously hack away at their leisure.

Now you're blaming the MSM for being in the tank for Trump? While they certainly have given him an easy ride, considering the things he has said, according to Politifact he mentioned the hacked emails 164 times just in the last month of the campaign. You can't just make stuff up and hope  it's true.

He didn't just talk about the hacked emails.  He talked a lot about other things.  The msm was reporting the hacks as it is a newsworthy story.  To say trump got an easy ride in the msm is questionable at best.

Trump is smart to play ball with Putin...can't do any worse than Obama did...or Trudeau for that matter.

That depends on how you feel about treason. Trump thinks Putin is very, very smart for getting someone in the presidency who will do his bidding.

Putin can't commit treason...he is not a U.S. citizen.   Trudeau tried to impact the U.S. election in the other direction...he failed miserably....of course.

Duh, I kinda don't think it was Putin that was being accused.

But Trump clearly did.

When your worth 4.5 billion, the only bidding you do is your own.

I appreciate your honest assessment...other than the 4.5 billion part.

Then please call the FBI and report him at once.   I await this breaking news story.

FBI, CIA, NSA, don't have to call 'em, they already know.

His rallies were PACKED.

Hers were EMPTY.

No Rooshins needed.

And the Kardashians are popular too. What's your point? Should Kim Kardashian be president? Maybe Kanye West? I bet their rallies would be packed too.

What exactly did Putin do to sway the election?

Thought that was pretty obvious.

All political organizations will have internal/non-public discussions (about things like strategy, preferences, etc.) Some ideas may be brought up that end up getting soundly rejected by the majority. Many of the Democratic party leaks fall into that category. (For example, the worker who suggested using Sanders' religion against him, an idea that was soundly rejected.) However, by leaking the emails, the hackers managed to build a false narrative that somehow Clinton was dirty because, well, she won the primary.

Now, had the Trump side been similarly hacked and their emails leaked, we may have seen similar issues... an email between Trump campaign workers about "How can we cover Trump's latest lies?" may have turned off a few voters. But because the hacking was only directed at Clinton and the Democrats we got an unbalanced view of how things work.

Now, I have no idea about how that ultimately affected the election. Maybe it caused enough potential Clinton supporters to stay home on election day to tip the election in favor of Trump, maybe he would still have won. But much like attempted murder... sometimes its a problem even if you try something (even if you don't accomplish your goals).

So, the truth was revealed to the American voters and people are upset about it!  What do we say about leaders from Germany and the UK (among others) getting in front of the press to try and sway American voters...Or foreign business leaders?  Everybody in the world had their say, the only difference is that foreign Hillary supporters gave hyperbolic opinions, while Russia (maybe) provided clear truth.
