-TSS- Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 It appears that the perpetrators of the London attack were being watched by the security services and with the benefit of hindsight we could say that their attack should have been prevented. However, we must bear in mind that the number of people being watched is about 3,500 or thereabouts so it is difficult to prioritise which ones should be watched more. Let's remember that for any attack carried out several more are being regularly foiled by the authorities. There is really no other way to reduce the number of attacks than to intern all those people who are considered a threat and potential terrorists but that is not a realistic option unless a permanent martial-law is being declared , we must understand that.

One wonders when or if a Canadian government will have the courage to do anything about it. Some countries, like France and Austria, have banned foreign funding of religious organizations. A nationalist is someone who advocates political independence for a country. A white one is just white. I'm afraid racism doesn't enter into it. A Scottish nationalist is probably a white nationalist and the only racism they feel is against the English, some of whom are also white. That said, there is such a thing as racial nationalism, according to Wiki, and it's an ideology that advocates a racial definition of national identity. Racial nationalism seeks to preserve a given race through policies such as banning race mixing and the immigration of other races. Much like some of the FN reserves we hear about.

I miss my time living among the ethnic groups of an area of Toronto called "the beaches". I could take a walk, practice my (rather poor) foreign language skills, hear some music and enjoy the smells and the tastes of a variety of foods beyond meat and potatoes. 1
