  1. There was a time in my younger days when I was intrigued by the NDP, then Bob Rae won big in Ontario. The next morning at work, one of my co-workers went on a rant about how bad things are going to get. I had a 'wait and see' attitude. He was so right, they were a disaster, and from that time I've had a strong dislike for that party. They are terrible on fiscal policy, they are anti-Semitic, pro-terrorist, anti- oil and gas.
  2. That GIF is actually a better representation of Canada. Most Canadians don't seem to care.
  3. Is part of the criteria the CONSTANT OVER-USE of CAPS?
  4. I don't like the NDP because they're crackpots but the one positive thing I can say is that they drain a bit of support from Liberals. Pro-union(bosses), pro-terrorist, anti oil and gas, anti common sense, anti-Israel. Everything a radical could love. Jagmeet Singh was pathetic. Will their new leader be more, or less pathetic than him? We shall see.
  5. Saying antifa isn't a violent, extremist movement is just as absurd as saying voter ID laws are a form of suppression.
  6. Blacklock's Reporter states that the Carney Liberals are counting planted trees as part of our NATO spending budget. https://www.blacklocks.ca/counts-trees-in-nato-target/ (The trees are planted at 'strategic locations' though) Search Assist commons.wikimedia.org SECWAR / Public domain David McGuinty, the Defence Minister, has included the costs of planting approximately 14,450 trees in the efforts to meet NATO's military spending target of 2 percent, although the defense department still fell short by billions. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance military readiness and environmental responsibility. blacklocks.ca
  7. Did he say anything in this short video that doesn't make perfect sense?
  8. The general population in Iran isn't the problem. The problem is with the fanatical Islamic Clerics who will do anything to keep their people oppressed so they can stay in power.
  9. Liberals hire new PBO to replace the outgoing Jason Jaques who was very good at his job. Too good in fact. The position will now be taken over by one Annette Ryan...who Carney knows because they went to Oxford together. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5e8F1flHrY Don't be surprised if the PBO reports get a lot 'friendlier' from now on.
  10. What BS. California has very lax voter ID laws. So what is required to open a bank account in California? If it's 'voter suppression' to ask for ID in order to vote, why isn't there any similar outrage against banking requirements? Government-issued Photo ID: This could be a California driver's license, California identification card, U.S. passport, or any other valid photo ID issued by a government entity. Secondary Identification: Often, a secondary form of ID is required, which could include: A Social Security card A birth certificate Utility bills or other documents with your name and address Additional Information Proof of Address: Banks may also ask for proof of residence, such as a utility bill, lease agreement, or similar document that shows your current address. Minimum Deposit: Some banks require a minimum deposit to open the account, so having cash or another funding method available is also essential.
  11. Carney works towards (finally)reaching a deal with the US? Or does he stay the course with the Trump as the boogeyman which helps Carney's polling numbers? My guess is the latter.
  12. Pure insanity that this nutjob got voted in. NYC is going to pay a heavy price.
  13. US, China, India, Mexico, Turkey, Brazil, the EU. Canada has tariffs on all of them and it's Canadians that pay those tariffs. Canada also placed tariffs on US steel and ...aluminum.
  14. Topic "Wonder if Trump needs Canadian aluminum now?" If you find that amusing then you'll probably get a laugh out of Canada's shortages in the pharmaceutical sector like painkillers and general drug shortages. About 75% of our pharmaceutical imports come from the US. Sounds like the US is in a great position to raise their prices 'like 50%'. That would only be fair, right? You didn't give this much thought, did you?
  15. Still waiting for you to respond to my point in the thread about Trump needing aluminum from Canada...
  16. And guess which company happens to have a lot of assets in Ukraine, and which are under threat from Russia?
  17. Maybe Canadians should ask, why are we one of the biggest contributors to Ukraine? Why are the Carney Liberals throwing tens of billions into Ukraine?
  18. True North was re-named Juno News. It is fair game to follow the money for all sides in the climate change debate. There is probably a lot of funding out there for anyone to say the 'right' thing. More alarmism>more research grants? https://www.maciverinstitute.com/perspectives/the-end-has-been-nigh-for-more-than-50-years-now Even 'peer reviewed' research should be taken with a grain of salt these day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=As8h2ZCfIPs&t=5s
  19. Here are some. https://www.cato.org/commentary/global-warming-apocalypses-didnt-happen Still waiting for you to back up your claim about Juno News btw 😉
  20. 23,000 asylum claims approved...without a hearing. The head of Canada’s refugee tribunal told a parliamentary committee Monday that she does not know the name of a suspected senior Iranian regime official whose identity her own board concealed from the public in a deportation hearing — and that the concealment was granted at the man’s own request. https://www.thebureau.news/p/thats-crazy-conservative-mps-confront
  21. Even sh*thole Somalia now has voter ID laws. https://pjmedia.com/tim-o-brien/2026/02/07/thanks-to-voter-id-somalia-is-embarrassing-america-on-election-integrity-n4949240 The SAVE Act is 100% a positive move to enhance election integrity in the US.
  22. We have heard lots of dire predictions for a very long time now. Notable Climate Change Predictions That Didn't Come True Over the past 50 years, various climate change predictions have been made, some of which have not materialized as expected. Here are a few notable examples: Prediction Original Year Expected Outcome Current Status Global cooling trend 1970s Significant global cooling due to aerosol emissions. Global temperatures continued to rise. Malthusian scenario on food shortages 1970s Massive famine by the 2000s due to population growth. Technological advancements increased food production. Sea-level rise predictions 1980s Up to 1 meter (100 cm) rise by 2000s. Sea-level rise is occurring but is lower than predicted. Ice-free Arctic summers 2000s Arctic summers free of ice by 2013-2015. Arctic ice extent remains, though declining. Doom-and-gloom scenarios of coastal city flooding 1980s-2000s Major cities like New York and Miami to be underwater. Coastal flooding is a concern but not to the predicted extent.
  23. Taiwan asks Canada to export oil, calls it a “National Security Issue” I guess we would have to clear it with our new 'strategic partner' first. https://www.junonews.com/p/exclusive-taiwan-asks-canada-to-export It's a pity that our own federal government has been the biggest obstacle to more oil and gas development. https://www.canadaaction.ca/foreign-countries-ask-canada-for-lng-2022
  24. You pin the blame for the sad state of the country on the opposition party? Isn't it more sensible to put that on...the one's that were actually in charge?
