Would that be the same DOJ that was behind the raid at Trump's home in Mar-a-Lago where they were sifting through Melania's personal items? Is the US system better than other democratic countries? Well, it can't be all that bad since millions of people throughout the world still are trying to get into the US, which is the world's largest economy and most powerful nation. There is that.

So as far as you know, what exactly is Poilievre's net worth? And I do think it's rather common for politicians to become millionaires during their time in office. I think Carney is over-rated tbh based on what I've seen so far in his time as PM. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/carney-dire-record-bank-england-150723032.html It sure helps an asset manager when he is able to advise governments on public policies which just so happen to align with his own investments.

And a portion of the federal taxes on gasoline. Federal Gasoline Tax The federal government imposes an Excise Tax on gasoline, which is currently at 0.10 CAD per liter. This tax is used to fund various federal programs, but a portion is earmarked for infrastructure, including road maintenance. The paving business in Canada is rather corrupt though, especially with regards to the bidding process.

Poilievre's net worth is up for debate as reports of him being worth $25 million are unreliable. Before entering politics, he apparently did have his own business called "Poilievre Inc" and as I've mentioned a number of times in here, he was a co-founder of a successful company called 3D Contact. He has been in politics since age 24 and as we know, MP's make pretty good money. In the video posted above, two top executives from the CMPA (Canadian Media Producers Association) literally said 'letting the Prime Minister know, that every person in this room, and the 180,000 people that work in this industry, we have your back, just as we know you have ours". I never claimed that Carney said those words, I am pointing out what these Canadian media big-shots openly said to the audience, which included Mark Carney.

Carney is a banker who realized that the easiest and fastest way to exponentially grow his already considerable wealth was to formally enter the world of politics. I wouldn't really call his decision- making ability solid in terms of Canada being better off so far. https://www.ctvnews.ca/business/article/canadas-economy-is-on-life-support-and-country-is-in-recession-says-economist/ But Carney can always rely on the support of the mainstream media to prop him up and play that attack dog role against Poilievre, they admitted as much on a stage.

It's extremely difficult to get any major projects done in Canada if they require Indigenous approval. The chiefs have to be $atisfied in some way. And all that in spite of the fact that the Indian Affairs budget in Canada has almost TRIPLED since 2015.

Common Sense Voting Laws?
ironstone replied to Nationalist's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Nonsense. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12413181/ALAN-DERSHOWITZ-Al-Gore-2000-Donald-Trump-indictment.html ALAN DERSHOWITZ: "Al Gore, his legal team and I tried to find uncounted presidential votes, lobbied officials and fought in the courts in 2000. The only difference now? The candidate's name is Donald Trump... That's why this prosecution is an outrage" "I was one of the lawyers involved in objections to Florida's presidential vote in 2000. A margin of less than 600 ballots determined that Governor George W. Bush rather than Vice President Al Gore won the state and, thus, the electoral college vote. I was convinced then and I am convinced now that this result was wrong. No one was indicted, disbarred, disciplined or even much criticized for those efforts, yet here we stand today." -

Common Sense Voting Laws?
ironstone replied to Nationalist's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
On the subject of voter ID, you're going against the majority in your own party. Search Approximately 71% of Democrat voters support requiring a photo ID to vote. Recent polling indicates that support for voter ID laws has been steadily increasing among Democrats, rising from 61% to 71% over the past year. Kind of funny isn't it? -
I wish all MP's were held to a higher standard when it comes to answering questions. Off the top of my head, the only time I remember an MP giving a straight, honest answer to a question was Public Safety Minister Gary A, when he actually admitted he had no idea what a PAL or RPAL was.

"The budget will balance itself" Justin Trudeau How does our current Finance Minister respond to the question "In what year will you balance the budget?" (Even a rough estimate would be better than nothing) Blah blah blah...unprecedented times...blah blah blah...unprecedented times....

Common Sense Voting Laws?

Question: Do you need to provide ID to do banking in the US? GPT-4o mini Yes, you generally need to provide identification (ID) to open a bank account in the U.S. Financial institutions typically require two forms of ID, which may include: Government-issued photo identification (e.g., passport, driver's license) Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) Proof of address (e.g., utility bill, lease agreement) So isn't that a form of 'banking suppression' in the US? -
Common Sense Voting Laws?
ironstone replied to Nationalist's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I'm not sure how much you know about Canada, if anything, but Canada requires voters to prove their identity and address to vote, which can be done by showing one piece of government-issued ID with a photo, name, and address, or two pieces of ID with a name and at least one showing the current address. By your own logic, Canada is engaging in voter suppression and therefore... must be fascist? -
One would think that with the amount of taxes that Canadians pay at every level that we could at least have decent roads. Not so.

Common Sense Voting Laws?
ironstone replied to Nationalist's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
And why would it be that they tend to have it less often? Whose fault is that? If we have already established that there is no reason why it's more difficult for them to obtain ID, is it really asking too much for them to go out and get it? Voting is something that happens every few years so there is plenty of time to take the SIMPLE steps to get ID. -
"What the Liberals did to Canada" Canada’s economy is on life support and country is in recession watch, says economist https://www.ctvnews.ca/business/article/canadas-economy-is-on-life-support-and-country-is-in-recession-says-economist/ Doesn't sound too encouraging.

He was a Liberal that held Mark Carney's current riding since 2015. When Carney was in need of a seat, the Liberal Party disqualified Arya and they gave no reason at the time. Some sources now suggest it had to do with sexual harassment on Arya's part, or, something to do with his ties to India. When this happened, the Canadian mainstream media, wait for it...expressed zero interest in the details. Back to the topic at hand, Jivani is trying to do what Mark Carney should have been doing since day one.

Search The Melania documentary significantly outperformed initial box office predictions, opening with earnings of $7 million in its first weekend, well above the anticipated $5 million. It achieved the largest opening weekend for a non-fiction film in the past decade, which was quite a surprise to industry analysts. Now clearly it's not going to be in the category of blockbuster, but it's nice that this film is doing well even in spite of the inevitable, prepared negative attacks that the left were itching to release.

Melanie 'didn't read the contract' Joly, saying Jivani should do more is rich. 'Unjust and unjustifiable tariffs by the American administration, 'And he (Jivani) should be talking much more about it'. Carney is actually the one that should be taking the lead on this, but he isn't. US tariffs on Canada are higher now under economist, banker, WEF shill- Mark Carney than they were under the lightweight Justin Trudeau.

Perhaps she should be talking about how great it is to be living the American dream coming up from her middle class upbringing?

She has raked in tens of millions in book deals, Netflix, speaking engagements. People all over the world pretty much worship the ground she walks on. During her time as first lady, and after, she gets all kinds of adulation from the media. She is Harry and Megan 2.0 I'm not dismissing any of the death threats or hate directed at her, there is no call for that. And that same standard should also apply to the current president and his wife.
