Mob boss? Did you express any concerns when the son of the current president was shaking down high level foreign officials for cash? -

Nasty. Typical leftist rage rears its ugly head yet again. You have a capacity for understatement. The election results were not exactly the definition of 'squeak out a win'. -

Democracy seems to fail in America only when the Democrats lose. -

Most of the people appointed to the Senate by Trudeau have ties to the Liberal party and continue to vote with the Liberals more often than not. -

If PP wins, he will have to contend with the Liberal dominated Senate. It's a given that they will do everything they can to stop him, even if he manages to get a huge majority. -
Breaking News: Trudeau expected to resign Monday.

If he does resign, it will change things. To what extent we won't know for a while. The prospect of a new leader will be enticing for progressives even as they ignore the fact that the policies are unlikely to change. Lipstick on a pig. And if that resignation comes this week, then Canadians will probably have to wait until October. -
A critique of Poilievre Peterson interview
ironstone replied to Michael Hardner's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Poilievre sitting down with Jordan Peterson= millions of views Trudeau sitting down with This Hour has 22 minutes= comparatively speaking, a relative handful of views If Trudeau wants to appeal to more Canadians by doing interviews on platforms that reach a vastly bigger audience, he can do it. But he won't. -
A critique of Poilievre Peterson interview
ironstone replied to Michael Hardner's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Except for the possible overconfidence, I was impressed with PP in that interview. I have no idea who that woman is, and based on what she said right from the get go I decided to see the interview in it's entirety rather than a 9 minute summary from her. I would urge others to watch the full interview themselves and draw their own conclusions. -
A critique of Poilievre Peterson interview

I had to turn off that clip at 40 seconds because that diva was nauseating. I watched the full interview on Peterson's Daily Wire channel. My main critique is that they are acting as though it's a sure thing that PP is going to win. That could be dangerous and a lot can change from now until the election. What statistics was he using deceptively? So what if Peterson has pro-life ads? The numbers of anti-Semitic incidents are rather high these days so one has to wonder about Canada bringing in lot's of people from a region where there is intense hatred of Israel and Jews in general.
