  1. Sigh. You are not the dumbest liberal on this board. Occasionally you make statements and arguments that are interesting and worthy of consideration. I wish you wouldn't screw it up by going out of your way to look this stupid on purpose
  2. I think that's a tough statement to make. You might not have shared the plan but it's becoming more and more apparent but he was in negotiations with their vice president and others in country about this for some time. You'll notice the country hasn't exactly just devolved into anarchy. He's actually been fairly clear about that. And it's not relevant to this. Wish you were attempting is the logical fallacy known as repetition. You think if you keep bringing up enough unproven points then when you mush them all together it'll mean that your position is supported. That's not how logic works. You may not like trump's motivation for releasing whats-his-face (can't remember right now) but he has stated his reasons, and they are very trump like reasons, Personally i hate the whole idea of 'pardons' but that's a separate subject And whether it turns out he's got the very best reason in the world or not, it has no bearing on this situation in the slightest Well it's true there aren't many but in fact there are lefties who are shedding a tear as we speak. There's protests to let him go, to reinstall him in venezuela, etc. Well... is it tho? Because in other similar cases the same people weren't questioning the why. Trump's been pretty clear about the why. They were dumping drugs into the country with the express stated purpose of harming americans as well as partaking in other things that threatened the us security and people and this lets the us control the oil which is strategically advantageous. That DOES sound pretty trump like. Not sure there's much more to it than that. Again, i know you think if you make ENOUGH false accusations and mush them together somehow it'll produce a fact. That's not how it works LOLOL well just remember that the democrat candidate and party made that look like the better choice.
  3. You elected the wrong government for that.
  4. No that's your usual lie. While it's true that for a long time we've warned that the left wood ruin everything if given a chance, the fact is is that. there a.re many t.imes whe.n the right has actualwly pute things...well....right Canada did exceptionally well under harper. Would blew through a recession like it wasn't even there while the rest of the world suffered horribly, we improved our world standing, we made Canada more effective and investment worthy and attracted insane amounts of new money. Of course that was even with the drag of having the left wing constantly trying to hold harper back So no, we've been lots of times when we said things were going well when the lefties weren't around. Our mistake was playing by the rules. Harper tried to make judicial appointments fair and non partisan, he threw his cabinent ministers out for buying 14 dollar orange juice, he passed laws to make gov't more accountable And the voters didn't want that. So what we have to be sure to do next time is rig the game in our favour while we're in. Every judge a right wing fanatic, torch the cbc, repress every left wing news source and support every right wing one. Any corruption necessary to secure power should be done, laws and rules should be changed to make it easier to elect conservatives, perhaps a few extra seats for certain friendly provinces to 'protect their cultural differences' , maybe add a few dozen senate seats and fill them with conservatives. You know... all the stuff we learned from you. Hell if YOU don't want to play by the rules and YOU support corruption, whats the point in OUR being honest?
  5. You get to Powned the conservatives!!! It's basically what you live for
  6. Your opinion is not fact. Sorry, I meant to say YOUR OpInIoN is NOT FaCt!!!!!
  7. But regardless of how good it is you do not buy your military hardware from someone who's threatening to take you over. We have to look at other suppliers and that's just the way it is
  8. It really applies either way these days. I mean look at you, you're a liberal who votes Liberal
  9. That's like saying "All i'm saying is that 2 plus 2 equals 7" claiming that all you're saying is something really dumb does not make it any less dumb. And that was dumb There are massive night and day differences
  10. At the end of the day he will use Canadian Forces to try and create a peace So that he can then use Canadian money and loan it to the Ukraine in order for them to spend it with Brooksfield. Brooksfield will make many billions of dollars over the term of this and when carney steps down from politics it will result in Hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars for him Meanwhile we'll be stuck with the bill Freeland will be his girl on the ground in the meantime so that he can avoid any conflict of interest claims but he talks to her regularly, their families are very close. He'll be able to give her all the instructions he wants
  11. I think you'd make a great liberal leader if that's of any benefit 😛
  12. Of course there's an end of the day. What did you think night time was? Do you think you just go blind for 12 hours a day? LOL Dude, i've told you before how to work those chinese finger traps, just bring your fingers closer together. Yeash, you're such a drama queen.
  13. That's why it's hilarious!!! Most of the lies you come up with are so ridiculous that you can't help but laugh at them!
  14. So - canada greenlights a loan package that will allow ukraine to sign a deal with westinghouse (brookfield owned) for 4.5 billion dollars Carney sends Freeland to the ukraine who agrees to 'hire' her as a 'consultant'. Carney is godfather to Freelands kids btw, that's how close they are. Freeland will now be helping facilitate that deal and others that will benefit brooksfield while carney claims "blind trust". It makes a lot more sense now doesn't it. We are so getting screwed by these people. Yes, reports and political commentary from late 2025 indicate that a Brookfield company was awarded a reconstruction contract in Ukraine valued at approximately $4.5 billion. This has been the subject of significant political debate in Canada due to potential conflicts of interest involving Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. Key Details The Contract/Funding: Brookfield reportedly secured a contract related to Ukraine's reconstruction. The amount is frequently cited as $4.5 billion or a related figure, with some sources linking it to a $4.3 billion aid package pledged by the Canadian government. The Controversy: The issue has raised concerns over potential conflicts of interest because Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney was formerly the Vice Chair of Brookfield Asset Management and holds significant stock options in Brookfield. Critics argue that government decisions regarding Ukraine aid or infrastructure spending could financially benefit Carney personally. The Company's Role: Brookfield is an investment company that focuses on various sectors, including infrastructure, clean energy, and AI infrastructure. One of its subsidiaries, Westinghouse, is also involved in supplying nuclear reactors and fuel to Ukraine. Denials and Explanations: Brookfield and the Liberal Party have stated that questions about the firm should be directed to the firm itself. Carney's assets are reportedly in a blind trust, and he has maintained that he is in compliance with all ethics rules. Some sources also clarify that Canada is providing loan guarantees backed by the IMF, not a direct "pouring" of taxpayer dollars to the company in the way critics suggest. The funding is part of broader international efforts to attract private institutional capital for Ukraine's recovery and infrastructure needs, a model co-led by other major firms like BlackRock and JPMorgan.
  15. No I don't think it'll be a mere handful of supporters. I think that convention is going to be fairly well attended But it will have to show that he can change his ways to correct his errors. It's fine and dandy to say that he got such a high percentage of the vote. That's absolutely true and it's a quite an achievement but he needs to break into those areas where he's currently lagging and that's the elderly. And they aren't going to watch YouTube videos Like every politician he will have to either deliver and give people confidence that things will be different next time or he may very well face a palace coup It will also depend a little on whether or not there are more floor crossers. One more does not cinch it for the liberals, but two more will give them a bare majority. That may not last long for various reasons but it might convince enough cPC members that there will be a long time before the next election and it's more attractive to look at replacing a leader when you have a lot of time. Right now a lot of people who may be iffy are saying we could go to an election in any minute this guys are best bet by far. But honestly I think he's going to get one more kick at the can unless the poles just start falling apart. He still pulling it like 41%, it's hard to point to anyone in the wings and say they're going to do better
  16. Court issues with it but they could have been resolved. Only a complete twat would suggest that they shouldn't be accountable.
  17. The pot and the kettle would both like to see you outside
  18. There's probably less of it most of the time although certainly at some points it does crossover into left and right politics for certain elements of it. I think deep down pretty much everybody wants to see the first nations do well. And I think pretty much everybody agrees that they're on the wrong path I'm at the help we're providing isn't helping and that there's a certain culture Within the community that is getting wealthy off of professional victimization and people on the left and right are unhappy with that. At the end of the day there are some things that even the left and the right can agree on in principle even if they don't always agree on the best solution
  19. There's no winning you over. You are 100% resistant to reason logic facts and honesty. As has been said historically is very difficult to win an argument with a smart person but it is virtually impossible with a stupid person. Is virtually impossible with you and that's what she's saying It would be nice one day if you took topic seriously but basically your primary value here aside from being picked on is the highlight how deranged the left gets and to watch you paint yourself into the corner with your nut bar theories to demonstrate to others how flawed your thinking is as a leftist. And some of the stuff you come up with is pretty hilarious
  20. A professional and serious jouranlist who's name is 'simplicus'. really. I'm convinced of his credentials already, most respectable journalists use joke fake names for their work right? Right? Yeash. And the article doesn't live up to the headline. I've never even heard it claimed that he was leading a drug cartel called Cartel de los Soles. And it wouldn't be a crime if he was unless that had been named as a criminal organization, the crime would be what he did as a member. That article is a complete joke. Indictments are always worded very specifically and are always different than the general terms used to describe the crimes before hand, give me one example where that ISN"T the case. Once again i'm forced to ask, is there nothing about this issue or trump that is genuinely wrong that you can bring up that you have to create false crap like this in order to complain about it? If there's nothing legitimate to complain about then why aren't you supporting him? And if there is why are you fabricating crap?
  21. very true. I doubt it's very hard to convince trump that biden treated someone unfairly or for political reasons in court.
  22. This has been a problem for a very long time. The chiefs and their allies live in comparative luxury and almost nothing gets done for the average person but they're told that it's the government's fault and the government doesn't provide money. So they're all behind the chiefs when the chiefs tell them to do this or that during an election but they don't realize that the biggest barrier to their success is the chiefs themselves. We've seen many many stories where it turns out that chiefs are making five or 10 million dollars a year for their services and claiming it's fair wages well the rest of their band lives in near poverty
