News reports Emergency Rooms are failing Canadians
CdnFox replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
LOL - looks like i crashed his brain again These lefties. , always so delicate So what was it that caused your mind to overhead this time? The fact that i was right or exactly how MUCH i was right? Or was it just that your sealioning didn't work out well? No matter i guess - you go have your cookie and your nap -
How is that even relevant? Well they could argue that but the key is consistency. Either we let anybody talk that way and agree it's not slander or we don't allow anyone. But when part of the ruling is that we should take whether or not we like the group beling maligned into account.. (if you try to get literal there i'll slap you ) then we have a problem. I suspect we're more or less on the same page there.

Notley just did not perform. She needed to be hot going into the election, she needed to grab attention during the election and differentiate herself, and she needed to paint a future that was exciting. And she failed across the board, and ran a very mediocre campaign and smith just wasn't going down that easy. We'll see - it ain't over till it's over. There have been surprises before. but it looks like naughty notley blew it.

Not hard to imagine at all - the right wing parties frequently kick the kooks out. The libs are the ones who keep them in. Many of their people are caught doing the same or worse and they hold on to them. Hell justin has done blackface so many times he can't remember. Start complaining when they DON'T kick them out, like the libs. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/cbc-poll-ucp-alberta-1.6855265 CBC News poll suggests United Conservative Party headed for victory in Alberta No difference between Smith and Notley in Albertans' minds While most Albertans seem to prefer the UCP over the NDP, voters in the Prairie province appear to have identical impressions of the two parties' leaders. Nearly half of Albertans (47 per cent) somewhat or strongly disapprove of both the UCP's Danielle Smith and the NDP's Rachel Notley. The two leaders vying for the province's top job each received identical 42 per cent approval ratings.

https://vancouversun.com/news/local-news/b-c-rest-areas-park-and-rides-fill-with-people-who-cant-afford-a-home “The driver is housing,” said Jesse Wegenast, coordinator of the city’s homeless count. “It used to be that to end up homeless, people had a combination of vulnerabilities — mental health, addiction, childhood trauma. Now, they just don’t have enough money.” This is starting to become a major problem across canada. First there isn't enough homes for people so they start to live like this. Then this type of camp or 'mobile village' will get too numerous and big to be safe and there will be clamp downs - and then where do people go? And when there's no where to go what's going to happen? People here have said that the gov't wont let it get to the point of violence - but we're getting awfully close.

Where? What media. The last time we did this NOT ONE of the stories you posted actually made the situations of the soldiers clear. 6 people? On a chat forum? At the end of the day - if there were many who cared then why aren't they doing something. I can't name one. I can't even remember hearing of one, except like 'the legion'. Why is that. I can think of gay rights groups iv'e heard of - i can think of black and racial groups, and first nations groups. I went and tried to look some up just to see if the names were familiar and maybe i'd heard them before and forgot. Nope. Well if you're happy with that then fine. But if you want more from the gov't then you need more support from people and that's going to mean talking to them. It had help from your silence. That's all it had help from. Harper increased spending and wanted to do more but it got shot down by the libs But when the libs get in they always sell a story of 'our forces just do peacekeeping, they're doing great with what they've got". And that's about the last we hear of it. You are doing NOTHING but sitting on your ass. If i do ANYTHING i'm still fighting harder than you. You were doing nothing already!!!! You don't care! It's too hard for you to get involved. And Dougie is actually out and out hostile to the country. Lets not pretend that somehow i managed to stop you JUST before you leapt into action. If you can be bothered to get out and vote when the time comes that'd be great but honestly i don't even expect that much effort out of you. I will if that's what it takes. I care about the country and i'm not afraid to fight for it. Doesn't sound like we'll be seeing you there. Are you a canadian citizen? Then yes you did. In fact - even if you're NOT a citizen you did. Anyone from anywhere can volunteer to help and they're ALWAYS begging for more. You don't need privilege you just need to give a shit. And we come to yet another lengthy explanation on your part of why you're a miserable failure and a coward and it's all society's fault. It's easy to find reasons to fail if you want to. but don't blame others for not caring more than you do.

Nope - if he thought that he wouldn't want an inquiry either - it would exhonorate the PM even more. In fact if he thought it was on the up and up reading the document would be best becasue it would allow him to keep hinting there's wrong doing but saying "i'm bound by the agreement to not disclose specifics". HIS problem with it is that he thinks there IS a problem - but that if he signs the document then he'll never be allowed to talk about it. What's the point in knowing you're right unless you can talk about it? AN inquiry will not be hindered that way if they find wrong doing they'll be able to report on it.

But you're trying to go from the general to the very specific back to the general again. Sure - you can refer to a specific event where a colony was actually formed and say those specific people who formed it were colonists. As in the vikings established a colony in north america. but to then suggests that all white people who came there forever after are colonists is simply not accurate and it's used as a pejorative. The british - not the whites - took control of parts of africa in a military occupation and controlled the local area. That has more to do with empire building than colonizing. We might refer to it as a colonly but really it was just taking over an area to control it as part of the british empire at the time. So it's not really a statement of fact to say 'whites" colonized it. But - that's what people now tend to mean - Colony = bad evil white man. And that simply isn't accurate. Its become a racist term.
-
That is literally what happened in Canada. And a war of conquest does not make someone a 'colonizer'. If we're going down that road most first nations people lived on land they took from some other first nations people at some point. So - are all first nations colonizers? Like i say - the way the word is being used to day it's a pejorative. There is no "nice" way to call someone a ni@@er. Even if they are one technically by the meaning of the word. Well that actually did happen as noted. And in many cases people just immigrated into an area and it wasn't 'colonization' at all. And sometimes they fougth and sometimes they didn't. But there really is no nice way to call someone a 'ni@@er.

TUCKER CARLSON OUT AT FOX NEWS
CdnFox replied to Aristides's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
How would you know? Did you ask someone? -
Well no. Ww1 vets came home to the roaring 20's but all fell by the wayside in teh 30's. And frankly for vets there was no real help and many suffered terribly. WW2 vets had it a little easier but then sat on their laurals - the 60's and 70's was very anti military and the military and the vets did nothing. How would you know? The only noise that's defining is your silence. if you guys don't care - why would anyone else.

TUCKER CARLSON OUT AT FOX NEWS
CdnFox replied to Aristides's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Annnd that's why the dems are worse. @WestCanMan has a very valid point - faced with reactions like yours people have little choice but to side with trump if they're going to vote at all. Right now in history the left is full of angry ignorant bigoted people. So you wind up having to choose your bigot -
Well we can't say that from the evidence. Just that they have more spine. IF what you're saying is true of course.. Perhaps the problem is that most military people DON"T actually feel the way you say and would tend to disagree with you and Doug, That would also explain it But that would kinda take away your excuse for slagging the country. More or less. Like i said if you genuinely need it spelled out step by step i'm happy to help but sure - its not "hard". It's just a lot of work. Where? I haven't heard of it. I haven't seen anything. And i'm a newsie - i scour all kinds of media for news of interest If they're demonstrating, they're being very sneaky and quiet about it. I DO remember about a decade ago the military was unhappy about pensions and raised a fuss and the public got behind them and things changed. But - haven't heard much since. Canadian VETS don't seem to give a rat's ass about Canada's vets. If you guys don't care enough to do something why should anyone else? Yeah. Thanks to trudeau and the liberals everything is broken. The people who voted for him should be ashamed. So - good men and women have taken up the challenge to try to resolve that. The CPC has elected a leader who's able to fight and win, and who's qualified to lead us back from this mess. I was part of that, Did you even bother? When the election rolls around i'll likely be out there working in the trenches again depending on health. As i have many many elections and i've seen what a difference volunteers can make. When was the last time you did that? And when he gets in we'll work with the party to try to make sure it stays on course. You will be sitting and complaining. So people like me will fix the broken country. Those are the people who REALLY defend our nation. Nope - that's you. The rest of us are working to fix it. Doesn't look that way - looks like they couldnt' care less. All i'm hearing from you is excuses for failure - that's not what someone does when they're actually fed up. I'm surprised if it was ACTUALLY important that you wouldn't do something about it. Maybe you could get the trans people to give you some pointers? A lot of people would likely agree. But - you make it impossible for them to do anything so what does it matter. If this conversation had been about gun owners 15 years ago you would have already been given a chance to sign up to the cssa and nfa online, you'd have been given links to your local mp's and to groups who were orgnanizing to take the fight to parliament, hell we even created software that allowed people to submit a 'letter to the editor' to every single news paper at once, we flooded the letters sections of papers across the country. I've talked to you about this for some time now - what do i have? Can i take action? Is there something i can do? Who do i talk to? Where can i get more specific information? I've got nothing. So i'll do nothing. Enjoy your pity party. Come talk to me if you really want' to know how to fix things.

Then quit being cowards and DO something. ORGANIZE. Between retired and active service members and their families and direct groups like the cops who would support you, even before you go to the public your numbers are into the MILLIONS. you could easily be a major factor in voting. Depending on the year there's usually about 40 battlefield ridings in canada - more than enough to make the difference between minority and majority. Get organized and target the hell out of them during an election and let it be known you'll do that every time and the party that does good things for vets gets support and the party that screwes them gets trashed. It's NOT hard. But it takes work and a bit of courage. There is NO reason at all you can't be a major political force.

So - now that i've shown that ExFlyer is a bit of an easily triggered leftist !diot - back to the main point that he and moonpie were trying to bury. We desperately need doctors and nurses and medical staff. We tend to think in terms of just doctors or nurses but really all the staff is necessary - you can't do operations without an anesthesiologist even if you have all the doctors and nurses you need. And yet - trudeau encouraged the provinces to fire the unvaxxed instead of using the other effective methods available to address the issue. And the provinces went for it. Now those people are gone and the've moved on. It has been widely reported that many others left the industry of their own accord. We should be having a discussion about that and why it was a massive mistake to prevent that kind of stupidity from happening in the future. -
Well its possible - Harper didn't "Signal", he just "Did" things. And emissions plummeted under his watch. And nobody gave him an ounce of credit. He did more without making any committments than any liberal ever elected by miles. And nobody cared. So it kind of sounds like the lefties don't ACTUALLY WANT anything done about climate change. They JUST want to hear promises, they don't want to actually see results. So PP would be pretty stupid not to give the people what they're asking for. Deep down i think people know there's nothing Canada can do so they just want to FEEL like they care.

ROFLMAO - awww poor little commie girl Nothing else you can say in rebuttal is there - you know it's true and we do as well. Here's another one for you - and you really really do make me smile a lot
-
You throw those words around like confetti whether they fit or not. You don't care about facts - you just care about emotional arguents. EVERYBODY knows what a fraud you are. You have literally claimed all jews are nazis SEVERAL times, you frequently say ALL conservatives are fascist. You don't care if a word fits or not. Sorry -that might work with the preschoolers you usually hang out with but it's not going to fly here

Ohhh noooesss - triggered leftie is triggered LOLOL - I take it the truth upsets you. And you still havent' learned how to use google yet Maybe get a 10 year old to walk you through it slowly. Buuuut - here's some. Just this once BC - i actually understated it. Turned out they fired even more than the last time i looked https://vancouversun.com/news/local-news/about-2500-health-care-workers-lost-jobs-over-refusal-to-vaccinate here's that billboard i mentioned https://www.kelownanow.com/watercooler/news/news/COVID_19/Unvaxxed_doctors_ask_for_their_jobs_back_on_billboard_on_the_Westside Now that's not all the doctors that were let go - just the ones in this group. There were many more. As for ontario you have to look at region by region. Here's a google search to get you started. But even at a glance, you can see it's into the thousands. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=ontario+medical+staff+laid+suspended+refuse+vaccine&t=newext&atb=v318-1&ia=web Roughly about 10,000 workers nation wide https://tnc.news/2021/12/16/provinces-sacked-almost-10000-health-care-workers-over-vaccine-mandates/ LOL - sorry to burst your bubble - but thanks again for the opportunity to point out that I'm right and you're wrong :_ Always a joy Already posted the links. Doctors, nurses and health care workers, during the pandemic, 10,000. Wow. Well folks - that's what happens to the leftie brain when it's confronted with facts it doesn't like -

Oh Wait! I never claimed it was new ! You lied about that. SHOCK! Here's a hint kiddo - if you have to lie to make a point you dont' have a very good point -
it doesn't matter what comey was given. The legal community including the fbi's own people knew it was wrong and can clearly articulate why. She got off because her husband ran across the tarmac to pressure the DOJ into making the FBI do what Clinton wanted - not for legal reasons. Sorry kiddo - can't lie your way out of that.

Thousands actually. In bc alone 44 doctors put up a billboard saying they were willing to work and the policy was stupid and more than that were let go. Hundreds of nurses were laid off. Then they had to close or's and er's. 1200 or thereabouts doctors and nurses and medical staff in total got laid off in bc - the numbers in ontario were horrendous. Across canada the numbers are staggering. "We fired thousands of qualified people that we desperately need now because they disagreed with our political position and now people are suffering - but YOU"RE the bad guy for bringing it up!!!!!" Get your head out of your butt. The gov'ts fired shittonnes of hospital staff in the middle of a medical crisis to make a political point. And now we're completely desperate for those same hospital staff. The moral of the story is DON"T FIRE DESPERATELY NEEDED STAFF FOR A POLITICAL POSITION IN THE FIRST PLACE.
