Humans CANNOT change the climate of a planet
herbie replied to reason10's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I resurched it. On the computer. On those sites not owned by MSM. Let me post anuther meme as proof... everybody knows windmills are no good, ask any Dutch person -
Another anti-choice opinion from a MAN. Who couldn't have a choice if he wanted to. My Mom, my wife and my daughter would tell you to STFU and MYOB

It's somewhat obvious from the hearings and anyone who watched the goings on that somebody had to do something. So the feds finally did. Other obvious things are that some people here don't know the difference between peaceful protest and an occupation. And others have this idea the hearings were forced on the gov't because it was some kind of scandal when they're going on because that's how the Emergency Act works. And that's a hell of a lot better than how the old War Measures Act did.

Trump Stole from Secret Service

Ethics are too 'woke' for a Republican. -
Oh FFS how thick can one possibly be? The 'mandate' was on the border so it applied to international truckers who crossed the border too. They told them there was no special exemption for them, and that was that. The ones who wanted their job got a jab, the few who's whiney personal 'religion' was more important than their job didn't. And your job isn't a right.

OMG look who's talking. So name even ONE mandate Trudeau ordered. Other than the feds closing the border to the unvaxxed, which any federal gov't has every right to do. So how the hell did that affect rights of people who are here? Huh? How? And 'many' truckers didn't get vaxxed, almost all of them did, 90%+ by their own records. A motley collection of idiots with various gripes got together on the whole thing, it's over and the vast majority is sick of hearing people still whining about it. 350 trucks a day roll out of this town and they got their jab because some logging companies and mills wouldn't let them onto sites without it. ONE truck showed for the local protest, just one. Who was vaxxed but being pissed off about it and Trudeau had SFA to do with it. So quit the usual lie, deny, deflect and lie some more BS and cough up just HOW your rights were denied

Trump Stole from Secret Service
herbie replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Conflict of Interest, Breach of Trust, Fraud. No FBI investigation needed for the GOP to immediately revoke Trump's membership and disqualify him as a future candidate. -
Years ago during the "solidarity protests" in Vancouver two people at the front of the crowd carried signs that said 'Lesbian Mothers Against the Budget'. I'm sure modern right leaning papers would've ran the headline "Tens of Thousands Protest for Gay Adoption Rights in Vancouver". They were protesting inflationary prices, and not just on fuel.

Hunter Biden's laptop, Hillary's emails, what about Benghazi... these guys can't even address their own shit. Deny, deflect, lie some more. If any other elected official put up a security detail in a hotel they owned, they'd be instantly deposed for conflict of interest. But charging 5x the rate and his minions still supporting him? Hillary was being polite. Deplorables is just about about the kindest description of Trump's supporters.

Provinces vs States: Language, Abortion
herbie replied to August1991's topic in Canada / United States Relations
which has what to do with provinces vs states, languages or abortions. maybe if you meant 'nations' instead of states. I assumed from the title you were about to discuss the difference between Canadian provinces and US states relating to their powers over citizens. -
Democracy Falters in the US
herbie replied to ReeferMadness's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
There is nothing too despicable for the Lout to stoop to. He told everyone that he could shoot someone in broad daylight in front of the cameras and get away scot free. His army of blackshirts would make sure that would happen even now.- 255 replies

Well unfortunately for RedDog I know lots of people in Alberta that are sane and not motivated only by sheer greed. Most of them thought kicking the Tories out for one term would smarten them up not dumb them down.

Well let's just say it's like me threatening to quite the Conservative Party that I never joined in the first place. So how do you quit Confederation when it made you in the first place. No distinct language. No distinct culture. No history as a sovereign entity. Just the imaginary dream of a few extra bucks in your pocket. What a majestic nationalist ideal. Just so honourable. And as pointed out the ignorant idea that you'd build pipes easier if you were a foreign country. Laughable.

Humans CANNOT change the climate of a planet
herbie replied to reason10's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The only thing political about this is that the USSR was the most polluting and environmentally destructive entity that ever existed. And we're supposed to be smart enough to learn from that.... I was just thinking that if reason10 ever does see the sea level rise with his very own eyes, I hope he's stubborn enough not to run for high grounds with all the extreme left Dems only running out of fear. Just when I thought you couldn't come up with something even stupider. Imagine not being able to even imagine at all.... just give up and accept things for what they are -
Of course not, the entire convoy obviously didn't know how Parliamentary Democracy works either. Duhhh we'll hand this made up petition to the GG and the Queen will fire Trudeau... duhhh! edit - FFS they didn't know how anything works. We can't even enter the USA so let's march because we they won't let us back if we do... duhhhh

Humans CANNOT change the climate of a planet
herbie replied to reason10's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Let's see... Carl Sagan explained to Congress in 1985 how the greenhouse effect works, how the longer we delay the more difficult the problem would be to fix and eventually would be unstoppable. 37 years later we're still arguing with the thick as a brick lot that think Sagan was an idiot and that they're utterly unchangeable opinion is valid. I think their whole outlook stems from a belief that everyone is as stupid and inflexible as they feel themselves to be. Thinking is just too hard.. -

You do realize you started a thread and not one of your own posts has anything to do with the subject? -

Look, these guys are such nincompoops they confuse Greta with art defacing idiots. If 30 years of evidence right in their faces doesn't convince them nothing will. if they had the Internet 40 years ago they'd be denying the link between smoking and cancer as loud as they do about climate change. Eight billion humans can't damage the Earth.... that's so stupid it's beyond belief. -
You seem to be a typical Joe Plumber that thinks Guild or Union President, Chairman of the Society Board or City Councillor is worse than S.F.A. Ignoring the last Rich Guy with all that 'experience' cheating, lying, defrauding and tax evasion that sat in the White House. Them's real qualifications, eh?
