The harm caused by government intervention in the economy
herbie replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Evil Government Shuts Asbestos Mine, Thousands Out if Work. OMG hates anything to do with environmental protection yet wants the horrible interfering govt to 'fix' housing and inflation. Schizoid. They have 5 years to move inland. 5 whole years. 5 years to comply and continue, 5 ears for workers to look for new jobs, 5 years for natives to appeal and probably win exemptions. But NOOO it's another Apocalypse Today! -
Well we all know how you love insisting that spreading hatred is Freedumb of Speech, so this news is days old. Why are none of you louts championing it?

Ontario needs to invest in EVs as a realistic Option.
herbie replied to Boges's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
You keep doting on Tesla which already has factories in China and more EV experience than anyone else in N America. They're capable of competing whereas. BC just dropped EV incentive from $55K to $50K and Tesla immediately dropped one model to $49,990. GM and Ford are the ones who need to worry. But tariffs will 'save them' and make sure they still build ZERO $20,000 cars and keep piddling about for another decade. A year or so ago the $10,000 Toyota Stout ICE pickup was announced. Add $5000 to bring it to N American standards. Add the 25% Chicken Tax. Ensure to bring in only the top model with all the options. Inflate that another $10K for current markets. -
No proof that happened. The guy got the revolving door for the petty stuff, but they're acting like the right to bail applies to an act of violence, even after a lengthy record. In this case it appears because it was the first violent crime so it all starts fresh.... that I can't condone. Prove they deserve bail for violent crimes, not make them prove they don't. As usual, you're wrong as hell again. There is no law, there's a Court Ruling. So they should make a law that meets the Charter Challenge.

Cuz he's distracting the populists by pandering to their simple gut issues, and fomenting conspiracies so they won't see what's obvious to anyone who's eyes are still connected to their brain.

Nobody wants to talk about Biden allowing China to buy up farm land around US military bases Does the President of the USA say who can and can't buy property in the USA? Did you need to write for Presidential approval to buy your condo? Or to sell it to someone from China? Maybe you'd like a Decree that only nice American outfits like Monsanto can purchase farmland. Or admit that, unlike the fascist dictator you people seem to demand, the President doesn't "allow you" to do dick shit, the Constitution does.

A couple of dumbfux apparently.

The fascists line up to condemn due process. Anyone defending it is a criminal to them. The suspect was sentenced to 31 days in jail and 24 months probation on March 28 for obstructing a peace officer That's DONE, and he was picked up on this case and charged with something else (probably a violation of his release terms) and NOT CHARGED with this attack. YET. Yet you loudmouth dumbfux who know more than the RCMP have concluded he's guilty, thrown race and a return to capital punishment into the mix. You're free to believe shit like that, even if it defines you as bat shit crazy.

So you resort to comparing DUIs to violent criminals and a catch and release system so you can deny any change to the Criminal Code that almost no DUIs are charged under? Most places have Provincial Traffic Codes that nail you hard and fast and scoop your car and licence instantly, without tying up the damn federal court system. And the pisstanks are griping they've been denied due process. Whine for the sake of whine, so long as you make something ant-Trudeau, right?

On the contrary. People like YOU who can only think punish, punish, and punish some more are the problem. The guy did his time and earned parole and you act like you know better without knowing any of the facts whatsoever. To the point that the guy was near there and had a record, so he must be the perpetrator. You're smarter than a parole board? Smarter than the cops who released him? And no need for a Court, you already convicted him with no evidence needed. But you're not a fascist in the least, right?
