    I read that a number of deaths were added retroactively. People who died in the Summer but were never recorded. That would be the only explanation of a day or two outside of the typical trend line.

    Trump shows himself to be a coward. He bails on a Virtual debate. Considering him and his entire team have been exposed to COVID-19, this is the only reasonable move. 

    Trump would be incapable of doing a Virtual debate because he wouldn't be able to shout over people.

    The messaging on this is pathetic right now. Toronto is specifically a shit show. You have a Medical Officer asking for another Shut down. Cases are up, but not going up exponentially. And Hospitalization is manageable right now. I think the main culprit of high numbers are lower income places where social distancing is next to impossible.

    If we're comparing it to Sweden. Their economy has shrunk as well, with many more deaths. AND it's fresh for Conservatives to say that Sweden is a model country. They're Socialist AF.

    That's an insane lie. The US regularly have north of 40,000 cases a day. Per Capita, Canada would need to regularly achieve 4,000 cases. And Canada doesn't have anywhere near the level of deaths.

    In the last two weeks, more Americans died of COVID-19 then Canadians since the start of the Pandemic. (a vast majority happened in the Spring in LTC Homes). Is that what Americans should want to live with?

She was out and about yesterday without a mask. 3 Senators now have it, forcing McConnell to delay confirmation hearings, 2 weeks. That's actually good news, but it shows how incompetent this lot is. AND Trump idiotically took a joy ride yesterday, endangering the Secret Service, in a car just so he could wave to his sycophants. I can't see how objective people can see this behaviour and be like. "These are the type of people that should be leading the most powerful country in the world".

    Should Trump recover and return to campaigning, he should be pilloried for his grave indifference in how his campaign told no one that Hope Hicks was infected. The likely Super Spreader Event was the announcement of ACB for the Supreme Court. Now Kelly-Anne Conway has it, more to follow likely. The Trump Campaign then went to Cleveland for the Debate, the Trump family refused masks in the crowd! If proper Contact Tracing was done in the US, I'm sure it would be discovered that, that even infected many many people. Even more than were actually at the even. As much as Trump was trying to make the campaign about anything but COVID-19, now it's all the campaign will be about. He's also the first POTUS in modern history to face re-election with less jobs created then when he took office.
