  1. Because they're on Fox News.
  2. There's not a whole lot Democratic about the EC. This is by design, I'm told.
  3. I'm less of a Victim and more of a Gawker. I was actually amused and pleasantly surprised when Trump won in 2016. I'm a Canadian Conservative, never voted Liberal once. But Trump's not a Conservative. He's a wannabe authoritarian. I ascribe to the sentiments of the people from the Lincoln Project. Trump doesn't speak for Fiscal Conservatives.
  4. What will you do if Biden wins and moves to reform the EC? Victims of Natural Selection can often be enthusiastic.
  5. Well I'm talking about the EC, the fact you guys have to pivot to down ballot races kind of proves the point. Oh yeah, last time he was there he was throwing COVID-19 infected hats into the crowd. Good times!
  6. I'll tell you right now, that if he loses Florida. He'll need to sweep Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. As well as Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina. All are either competitive or Trump is losing by around 5%+. The truth is, Pennsylvania is the most important state in the Union. That's why Trump has been pretty much campaigning there for a week straight. The system creates a political environment where only a handful of states matter.
  7. Well numbers on who exactly are getting sick aren't easily available. But we know where they're getting sick, and that's overwhelmingly in Urban areas. Deaths are only a part of the factors with COVID-19. There's a term called "Long Hauler" being ascribed to COVID-19 survivors. People who didn't die but suffer from the effects well after testing negative. https://www.healthing.ca/diseases-and-conditions/coronavirus/covid-19-long-haulers
  8. Popular vote isn't the metric. It's the idea that close races are weighted the same as landslide races. In the Westminster system, each seat is its own race. In the Electoral model system entire states give all their EC votes to the winner even if the race is tight. It would be akin to giving all Ontario seats to Trudeau if the Liberals won the popular vote in that Province.
  9. The same lower income people also are more likely to have poor outcomes because of diet and a variety of health issues.
  10. The ridiculousness of this EC is apparent. Biden is competitive in states that would be considered solidly red. Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, Texas, Arizona. But if Trump can hold on to those states by the skin of his teeth, all he needs is Pennsylvania and he wins the EC. The EC doesn't reflect the changing demo's in any of those states and how they're purpling.
  11. Way to not answer. I asked 4 questions questions as to why you think those issues are biased. And why? Cleary you're incapable of voicing how exactly those interviews were particularly biased.
  12. Can you cite excessive bias in either the NBC debate or the 60 Minutes piece? Is it when Leslie Stahl wouldn't concede that the Obama's spied on Trump? Because there's no evidence for that. He's POTUS he could have it investigated. Was it when Savannah Guthrie wouldn't accept that a ReTweet isn't an endorsement, especially coming from a POTUS? Is it when Trump played dumb, like he often does, in regards to Qannon? Or how about the claim that the US is "rounding the curve" regarding COVID-19 when all evidence points to things getting much much worse? Just curious how asking Trump to answer for his record is biased?
  13. "Because Joe Biden, one of the things he is remarkable at is really kind of being a man of the people and resonating with middle class voters. Feeling like -- coming off as human. His gaffes -- as much as we make fun of them -- to a certain extent they make him look human. So not, since he's likable."

He is definitely likeable.  Much more so than Trump.  But like I’ve been saying for months.  Policy trumps personality.

  14. With the Trump Admin admitting they can't control the virus, I suspect we'll see more of this all across the US. https://www.sltrib.com/news/2020/10/25/with-coronavirus-cases/ Sorry your mother was kicked out of the ICU because a few younger anti-maskers showed up.
  15. COVID-19 Death Panels in Utah. Brought to you by Trump.

  16. Sounds like wishful thinking. AOC is quite working class actually.
  17. Good luck with that.
  18. Doesn't help Trump get elected.
  19. And if New York goes Blue, every single one of those districts's EC POTUS vote goes to Biden.
  20. So you're predicting Trump will take New York?
  21. Just to be clear, you're admitting their vote for Trump is irrelevant.
  22. 2018 Congressional polls were fairly accurate regarding Congress. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2018/06/01/the-sky-is-not-falling-two-major-studies-show-election-polls-are-not-getting-less-accurate/
  23. There are down ballot races that matter. But for POTUS, a large chunk of the US's POTUS vote is meaningless. Why isn't Trump campaigning in New York if it was "in play".
  24. Trump's a fan of the "Jews will not replace us crowd".
  25. The Dems are favoured to take Congress. But yes, Republicans can win more seats in Congress, which could be nice. But these voters aren't helping Trump out very much. Note, I'm just criticizing the Winner take all nature of the EC. That's all. Wouldn't it be nice if a Republican District could dictate where their EC vote goes instead of the vote for the entire state?
